AN: Another fanfic I wrote awhile back. An AU EFC story.
He was so handsome the way the moon reflected on him, it looked like he was almost glowing. Each muscle was apparent. Renee couldn't believe this man was hers, and he loved her as she loved him.
Most of the time they were fighting Taelons and Jaridian's, but occasionally found some time together.
They had been together for a year; Renee had realized her love for him after he was nearly killed in a raid and after he recovered had told him. He had kissed her saying he felt the same.
He smiled at her, "you came."
She came into his embrace, "I will always come."
AS always she melted and felt safe when he held her. They were in their favorite meadow but tonight Liam seemed serious, "Renee I have something to say."
"Can't it wait? This is supposed to be our time."
"It can't wait Renee."
"Ok what do you need to say?" Renee broke off with a shocked gasp as he got down on one knee.
"Renee I love you and want to spend the rest of my life with you, will you marry me?"
Renee's eyes filled with tears and embraced him tighter, "yes!"
They shared a long kiss as they enjoyed yet another moonlit evening together.
