Chapter 1-The proposal
Riku sat in his bed thinking of proposing to his girlfriend, Kairi. "Is it time to propose to Kairi once and for all." thought Riku. He stood up and looked at himself in the mirror. He started to fix his hair.
Sora sat down on the sand near the beach, looking sad.
"Hey Sora what's the problem?" asked Tidus.
"Oh it's nothing...just that I'm not sure what I'm feeling." Sora said.
Tidus sat down next to him. "Feeling about what?" he asked.
"You wont understand...it's about...Riku." said Sora
"What about Riku..." Tidus questioned.
Sora took a deep breath. "I'm in love with Riku..." said Sora in a nervous voice.
"How long has this been!" Tidus stammered.
Sora looked at the sunset with tears in his eyes. "Since I...first met him."
Riku knocked on Kairi's door.
"Coming!" shouted Kairi.
As he heard the voice and quickly recognized it was Kairi. "Kairi! It's me Riku!"
Kairi excitedly opened the door. She surprised him by kissing him tenderly on the lips. "So what's up?" Kairi asked after they seperated.
"Not much...I just wanted to ask you to come with me and take a stroll." asked Riku.
Kairi looked at him with curiosity. "Well...okay. Anything you say Riku." Kairi said.
Riku took Kairi's hand and the two of them walked down the road.
"Where oh where could I propose to her." thought Riku.
Riku and Kairi then passed the beach but did not notice Sora and Tidus.
"I know! I'll take her to the Paupou tree. It's the perfect place."
Sora saw Riku and Kairi pass by. "Sorry Tidus but I've got some business to take care." he said looking straight at Riku and Kairi.
Tidus followed his gaze. "Sure whatever you say Sora...whatever you say."
Sora quietly followed Riku and Kairi. "Wonder where they're going?"
Riku turned left and stopped under a Paupou tree.
"Oh no! They've stopped at the Paupou tree. Riku's gonna propose!" he thought. Sora hid in a bush so they won't see him.
Riku bent down on one knee and took out a ring. "Kairi...would you...marry me?" Riku said patiently.
Kairi's eyes widened with shock. "I...I...of course...I will" she sputtered out.
Riku's stood up excitedly and kissed her. They kissed so long until they were interrupted by Sora who was screaming his lungs out.
"Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh....Heartless." shouted Sora.
A heartless jumped out from the bush. Riku quickly took out his keyblade and killed the heartless.
"What were you doing...hiding in that bush?" Riku asked.
Sora kept panting and panting. "Well...I'm not sure." Sora spitted out.
"What do you mean you don't know!" shouted Riku.
"Come on Riku! Let's go tell the others." Kairi insisted.
Riku looked at Kairi. "Okay sure Kairi." said Riku.
"Wait...I...I..." Sora started.
Riku and Kairi left without saying a word to him. Sora just sat on a rock. "What will I do now! Riku's mad at me...he just proposed to Kairi. How will I express my feeling to him now." he said to himself.
