Summary: Nina plays matchmaker and uses her magic to pair Ayu and Kaji together but what if her magic backfires and Ayu ends up being stuck Tsujiai instead? KajiAyu YutaNina

Chapter 1: Scheme
"O-hayo, Ayu chan!" Nina squealed in a singsong voice as she sauntered a little before the brunette
"Ohayo, Nina-chan." Ayu smiled "You look happy, did anything happen this morning?"
Nina smiled then nodded "I got mail from grandpa and he said my level was increasing thanks to the holy stones!"
"So does that mean you're being less clumsy?"
"Hidoiiiii!" Nina puffed her cheeks in annoyance as her friend just chuckled in reply "It means my magic is stronger now sooo I can help you get along with Kaji-kun" she squealed her frown turning to a rather frenzied smirk
"Y-you don't have to bother" Ayu reasoned knowingly
"But………"
"It would only burden you Nina so you really don't have too"
"But, I want to" the blonde argued, " I promise I won't do anything stupid"
"I know you won't"
"So that's that!" Nina grinned " Ayu-chan daijoubu! Now that my magic is stronger getting you and Kaji together would be chicken feed" she continued cheerfully as she skipped ahead.
"Uhh………I hope you're right Nina………I hope your right" Ayu sighed as she followed the blonde inside the school campus. She trusted Nina, although she wasn't too sure if she trusted her magic just as much………atleast not yet

The two walked inside and headed towards the locker rooms. Ayu then gathered 4 hardbound books and explained that she had borrowed them last week for their term exam and that she had to return it as soon as possible. Nina plainly smiled and offered to help when a voice caught both their attention.
"Tateishi" the voice called out
"Ka-Kaji-kun!" Ayu stuttered feeling her blood rise up to her cheeks as she noticed her crush standing in front of her.
"Konichiwa!"
"Ko-Konichiwa, Kaji-kun! Tsujiai-kun!" Ayu smiled coolly as she glanced at both Kaji then at Tsujiai who plainly nodded in reply
"What's with all the books?" Tsujiai muttered as he finally took notice the several heavybound books Ayu was carrying.
"Huh………well, I needed to return it to the library"
"I'll help you then" Kaji offered as he suddenly neared the brunette and took some of her luggage without bothering to wait for her consent.
"A-arigato, Kaji-kun!" she murmured
The man smiled before turning his gaze back at his friend "Anou………ne Tsujiai, you can go on ahead" Kaji informed as Tsujiai plainly shrugged and walked away.
"Ni—" Ayu started only to find her friend already gone "Nina?"
"Nani desu ka, Tateishi?"
"I-Iie" Ayu stuttered as she headed towards the library with Kaji close behind. She wondered where Nina had run off too, she could only hope that her little witch won't try and do anything stupid as to make her life a living hell!

The blonde grinned inwardly to herself. Luck was seemingly on her side as she was easily able to get away from Ayu. She knew the brunette would have never allowed her too use magic, especially when she was planning to use it on her. But it was for her sake right? So what harm can it possibly do?
Nina then took a deep breath as she placed some metal scraps in the little chest connected to her persocom and started to concentrate "Practice" she exclaimed as 2 white gold rings emerged in her palm, now all she needed to do, was make Ayu and Kaji wear one of each and everything would be perfect………or so she though
