Hi. My name is Tobias. I guess I could tell you my last name now, since the Yeerk threat is gone, and has been for around a year. It's Hawker. You see,
I used to be a normal kid, who did normal stuff. I didn't have many friends, though, and I didn't have a real family. After my parents died, my aunt and uncle just kind of shunted me across the country. But all of that changed, on that fateful night. As I said, my name is Tobias Hawker. And
this is my story.
One night, I was at the mall. Not with anyone, just me. I was on my way out, as I spotted my friend Jake. I guess he wasn't my friend, just a kid
from school who saved me from some bullies. He was with his best friend Marco. I walked over to them and said, "Hey Jake. How's it going?" "Good. Wanna walk home with us?" He replied. Marco made a disgusted face like I wasn't good enough, but said nothing. "Sure," I answered. As we approached the door, these two girls from school, Rachel and Cassie, walked up. Rachel
and Jake were cousins, but didn't look very much alike. Rachel was best
friends with Cassie, who was black. Rachel looked like a supermodel who walked right out of a magazine, but that's just my opinion. Cassie, on the other hand, wore overalls and a T-shirt. "Hey, want me to walk you home?" Jake asked them, and Rachel replied, "Oh, so you think just because we're
girls we need a big, strong man to walk us home? We can take care of
ourselves." Cassie said, "Actually, Rachel, I'd really appreciate it if they came with us." Rachel grumbled at that. So, there we were, walking out of the mall, when a big question came up. "Hey, you guys wanna go through the construction site?" It was Rachel. We all agreed, so we did it. But, as we were walking, I was staring at the stars when I spotted what I thought
was a comet or something. But when I looked closer, I noticed it was heading toward us! "Guys, look up," I said, and when everyone looked up, they froze. "What is it?" Cassie asked. "A UFO, duh," Marco replied. And
the whole time, it was getting closer. "Uhh... I think it's gonna land here!!!!!!!" I screamed. You know, I was just joking about the whole UFO
thing..."
