"45" By Shinedown

Hiei holds the tear gem his mother had cried giving brith to him and Yukina in his hand.

Looking down at it, life was so different then. When innocence once kept a place in his eyes.

"Send away for a priceless gift

One not subtle, one not on the list

Send away for a perfect world

One not simply, so absurd"

His so tired of being Koenma's bitch and spirit dectevetive called Yusuke. Everyone just seems to get on his nerves more then usual. Feeling of loneless builds, and will to life died years ago in his heart.

"In these times of doing what you're told

You keep these feelings, no one knows

What ever happened to the young man's heart

Swallowed by pain, as he slowly fell apart"

Sitting in all he had created the darkness over whelming. Looking at the gun he had bought just days before and realizing what more does he have to live through? What more can he take?

"And I'm staring down the barrel of a 45,

Swimming through the ashes of another life

No real reason to accept the way things have changed

Staring down the barrel of a 45"

What message could he possibly give? there was nothing really left to say now. Hiei just stares at the gun, his souless eyes no longer want to see the light of day, the pain he has caused to so many and himself. One note could not explain it all. The pieces of his puzzle just weren't meant to fit together.

"Send a message to the unborn child

Keep your eyes open for a while

In a box high up on the shelf, left for you, no one else

There's a piece of a puzzle known as life

Wrapped in guilt, sealed up tight"

The gang finds him in a pool of his own blood, the gun still wrapped tightly around his hand. Yusuke points to tear gem that was still around his neck. No one could understand what state of mind he was in. However all feeling a sense of guilt for letting it happen.

"Everyone's pointing their fingers

Always condemning me

And nobody knows what I believe

I believe"
