"What! What do you mean he hit!" yelled Koenma now on the top of his desk.
"Well... he beat her sir" said George sympathetically.
"Do you know what this means" said Koenma now grabbing George by the neck of the shirt.

"Well nothing except that he has the stone NOW, GET SOMEONE ON FINDING HIM NOW!" yelled Koenma as he went to sit back down at his desk.
"But sir what about... Yusuke"
"They would rather go see her I assume" he said looking over at them as they nodded still a bit shocked from the news.
'She's... gonna die' thought Hiei as the awkward silence devoured them all.
"WELL GET A MOVE ON!" yelled Koenma as George rushed out the room along with the team.
'If she dies this time she... can't come back' thought Koenma as he got on the task of finding the stone

Family sat in the waiting room in the bitter evil silence, no one said a word because, there was nothing to say.
They only prayed for the two teens which occupied the E.R, It was going on 3 hours now since they got an update and Gohan was getting anxious about both their conditions the only thing the doctors would say was.
"It doesn't look good"
Another lab coat passed the waiting room in a swift retreat,
"Hey wait!" yelled Bulma running after them... she came back pulling him by his clip board.
"We need answers!" she said crossing her arms as Vegeta came to comfort his mate.
"I see you're the" he looked down at his clip board.
"Briefs family" they nodded.
"Well your son's condition is severe in that we have him on life support at the moment im sorry to say that... im not sure... if he'll ever... wake up" he said uncomfortably as Bulma cried into Vegeta's shoulder.
"And why would you make that assumption I mean you are a doctor can't you do something? Isn't it your job??" yelled Vegeta as he fixed his glasses from the uproar.
"Yes well you see your son suffered a severe puncture wound to the abdomen in which his vital organs were hit, he lost a substantial amount of blood and required a transfusion but it didn't work out as we planned, see your son's blood cells seem to be fighting off the transfused blood" he finished as Bulma gave another scream of agony from the news.
"Im sorry for your loss" he said as he began to move out of the room.
"Hey wait" said Gohan grabbing him by the shoulder, he turned.
"What about my sister?" he asked as they doctor looked at him.
"Yes Miss. Son is very well known here, as I've been told she's had a surgery here as it is well she is still in surgery im afraid I can't give you a better update than that, but you may see Trunks if you please" he said as they all nodded and followed him to the saiyan boy's room.

Yusuke and they others walked into the hospital entrance.
"Alright well she's probably in E.R" said Kurama as they nodded and went in the direction of the trauma ward.
~ Few hours later~
Family sat around Trunks bed as they held his hand and listened to the doctor's diagnosis.
Gohan sighed and stood up it had been awhile and the room was packed he nodded to his father as he left the room for some fresh air.

The boys sat around in a waiting room after being told by the nurse that Ross was still in surgery.
Kurama looked at his watch,
"Im staring to get worried it usually doesn't take this long for a surgical diagnosis" he said as he looked up at the three other boys deep in thought.
"You think" started Kuwa.
"you think she hates us?" he asked as Yusuke snapped out of his zone.
"Why would she, she would never hate us" he said as Kuwa sighed.
"Yeah but I mean you think she hates us cause we weren't there for her?" he asked
"HN" started Hiei.
"Like she would have even taken your help" he said as Kuwa stood up.
"Oh and ho would you know all you do is talk bad about her, what did happen between you two?" he asked as Hiei stood up.
"I KNOW her because I boarded with her all last year and what happened between us is NONE OF YOUR CONCERN!" he yelled as they fumed at each other by this time Gohan was in the waiting room door way looked at the two boys.
"Hey" he started the looked over at him.
"Your Ross' friends aren't you?" he asked as they lowered there anger against each other.
"Yes, we are do you know how she is?" asked Kurama as he stood up.
"No they won't tell me but wait how, did you know she was here?" he asked as Kurama formed a sweat-drop.
"We uh saw it on the news" he said with a smile.
"Oh right" said Gohan a bit tiredly as he sat down in a chair in the waiting room and sighed.
"I wish I could have done something" he said as he balled his hands.
"Don't worry im sure Ross wouldn't have let you get involved anyways" said Yusuke.
"Yeah but she quit fighting how can someone attack her when she can't even defend herself" he said as they all dropped their jaws.
"She did WHAT!" yelled Yusuke.
"She would never do something like that I mean fighting Is her life" said Kuwa as Kurama tried to contemplate the situation.

"Are you waiting for Ross Son?" he asked as they all stood up.
"Yeah she's my sister" said Gohan as he walked forward.
"Well she just came out of surgery she's still gonna have to go back under later on tomorrow but we have to get the test results back before we can proceed with the procedure" he said as Gohan raised a brow.
"Why, whay kind of tests?" he asked as the doctor flipped through his notes.
"Well she was stabbed in the lower back and since it is such shamble we can't detect if is shattered her vertebrate or not, she'll live but im afraid she may be crippled for the rest of her life" he said as Gohan's posture slumped.
"So can we see her?" he asked as the doctor raised hand.
"Well since she lost a lot of blood and like her friend a transfusion is nearly impossible, she is on life support at the moment, the funny thing is... her heart is fluctuation as well it might be very well from eh shock of the antistatic but we need to do more test till we can determine the problem."
Gohan nodded and they followed the doctor.
'Yeah I forgot about her friend being hit as well' said Kurama telepathically to Hiei.
"Hn"
The doctor opened the door to the room they all gasped at the sight.
Ross lay on the bed motionless, a tube was down her throat and a heart monitor beeped in the back ground she looked absolutely helpless. She was as pale as the sheets and had bruises around her neck from where her captor held her fiercely.
The doctor stepped in and injected something into her I.V
"She is going to be in severe pain when she wakes, but she might not wake up for a couple more hours." He said as they nodded.
Gohan walked nervously to his sister's lifeless; the respirator pumped another breath of air into her dead figure.
The heart monitor began to fluctuate a bit and then went back to normal increasing it's speed and then decreasing it dramatically.
Gohan sighed as he put a hand onto her cold arm, and took it away.
"Im... going to get the others" he said as he left.
The boys looked over at her; she tensed a little and growled a bit in her sleep.
"It starting to take affect" said Kurama as Kuwa looked over at him.
"What?" he asked.
"Her detachment from the stone" he said as Kuwa nodded forming his mouth into an 'O'
At that point a large group of people walked into the room conversing about the situation Bulma went over to her and cried on Ross shoulder, but the team noticed one women on the sidelines leaning against the wall coolly.
"Who's that?" asked Yusuke to Gohan pointing to ChiChi.
"That's Ross... mother" he said as they all dropped their jaws.
"WHAT AND YOU MEAN SHE DOESN'T CARE!" he screamed making everyone look over at him, he fumed and stormed out of the room with Yusuke and Kurama in dire pursuit, Hiei stood by the wall in not caring how the big oath felt.
'But... she killed and I can't sit here and apologize to her' he thought as the doctor ushered them all out so that he could do an inspection of the fallen girl.

"You're kidding right I mean she's one of the coldest people I've ever met, thought I guess since she's quit fighting maybe... she changed" he said as they looked at him in shock.
"Or maybe she covering it up" said Kurama as they looked at him.
"She would never do that to us" said Marron piping up.
"Yeah I mean I've seen her fight she's good and all but I mean she didn't seem harsh" said Gotein as Yusuke Kuwa raised a brow.

"I have my sources" he said as they doctor walked back out.
"Well she's awakening you can go in there if you wish" he said as they nodded.

She heard footsteps and a hand descended on her shoulder; she fluttered open one eye to see who it was....Yusuke.
She breathed in deep at the shock her heart beat going through the roof.
"Hey missed you two" he said as she tired to move from her position, she flinched at the sudden shot of pain through her back and collapsed back into position.
She looked down at the tube still in her throat and looked back up, Kurama understood
"Hold on" he said as he went out the door to get the doctor, she looked around the room at the worried faces.
'What have I done?' she thought as they doctor came back into the crowded room and pulled out the tube, making Ross choke from the force, it had hurt.
"Where's Trunks?" she asked her voice raspy.
Bulma felt a tears on her cheeks.
"Oh Ross" she said as she went to hug the girl a little to harshly Ross just tightened from the sudden movement but then relaxed as she tried to lift a hand to the mourner's back.
"Im sorry" she said in a voice a little above a whisper.
"It's my fault" she said as they woman looked at her angrily.
"Don't say that you had nothing to do with it" She said as Ross looked away,
"Maybe we should give Ross some time to rest" said her father as she looked up to see him, he bent down and kissed her on the cheek.
'Thanks dad" she said as they filtered out of the room.
The boys stayed behind.
Ross forced her head to move to see who still occupied the room and say Hiei against the wall.
She growled and looked out the window in anger.
They knew the two were in a feud.
"Ross the stone has been taken" said Kurama.
"I know" she said.
"Unless we find it... you'll die"
"I deserve to die" she said as she turned back to the group, they looked at her with shock.
"Thank you for coming but I don't deserve it please leave, my friend is dead, my life is ruined and my family is in danger all in one day the last thing I need is to see you guys in pain as well" she said as they looked at her.

"They demon that took the stone... was the demon who... killed me" she said as they all looked at her shocked.

"Very well" he said as she started for the door, he motioned for the other two.

"They demon that took the stone... was the demon who... killed me" she said as they all looked at her shocked.
"What but... wait you died because of a demon?" asked Kuwa.
"Yeah I saved a girl's life and he took mine instead... can you go now?" she asked as they stared at her for a minute.
'She saved someone' thought Hiei.
The others nodded and went for the door.
"I'll leave" started Hiei making then others stop and look back over at him now by the bed.
"If you answer me a question" he said as the boys were now by him in curiosity.
"There are a lot of questions I'd like answered," She said angrily.
"Hn, im sure there are... why did you kill the city of humans?" he asked as she raised a brow in surprise.
"What?" she asked as he grew agitated.
"You heard me why did you do it?"
"How... do you know that?" she asked angry at his assumption.

"In my dream right" she said now mad that he had gone into her privacy.
"You fucken ass I can't believe you're prying into my mind!" she yelled trying to sit up but screamed from the pain and lay back down.
"WELL DID YOU!" he screamed.
"WHAT DO YOU THINK!!" she yelled as he clutched.

Hiei looked at her shock.
"Do you mind if I ask you why you did what you did?" she asked as he looked at her.
"Because you were in danger, you lost half of your energy, it was for your own good" he said as she growled.
"No, it only caused them pain" she said pointing to the door.
"If I wanted to be home I would have done it myself, im not a child I do deserve I bit more respect than that" she said
"Like the respect your mother gives you?" asked Kuwa cutting into the quarrel Yusuke elbowed him in the ribs.
"My mother" she said looking at the door.
"She hates me if you must ask" she said as they stared at her.
"And you don't care?" asked Yusuke.
"No, why should I, I can't change the fact that she hates me" she said looked now at the opposite wall.
"Look I don't want to talk about this"
"Alright then" started Kurama.
"Maybe we could talk about how you lost half your power?" he asked as she sighed.
"You'll have to ask Koenma about that one" she said as they sighed from the lack of answers she was giving them.
"Very well" he said as she started for the door, he motioned for the other two.
They looked at Hiei and then followed.
"I need to talk to Ross about something go ahead" he said as they closed the door.
