~Chapter 14~
Ross sighed as she staggered through the crowded streets.
'Why cant life just be simple?' she thought as she went up to Kurama's door and rang the buzzer.
Kurama answered with a bright smile.
"Hello Ross come on in" he said letting her in she made her way up the stairs as Kurama went to help her.
"Im alright... thanks" she said getting her crutches over the threshold
He closed the door behind her, "I can take it your still wounded"
"Hn" she said setting the crutches aside and walking into his living room, Yusuke and Kuwa were playing video games while the girls gossiped, though Hiei was no where in sight.
"Hey" said Yusuke concentrating on the game.
"Hey" she said plainly, she walked slowly not to hurt herself anymore as she went to the couch.
"You O.K?" asked Yukina standing up.
"Yeah, im alright where's stupid?" she asked as Kurama sighed.
"He said he would be late" said Kurama as Ross nodded. She sat down and began to watch the game.
She sighed and stood back up, "Im gonna read" she said walking off into the kitchen. Kurama raised a brow. 'Hmmm" he thought out loud as everyone went on with what they were doing.

"Hey where's Ross?" asked Kuwa looking around.
"She's reading stupid didn't you hear her?" asked Yusuke rolling his eyes.
"Hey shut up punk!" "Can we please reframe from using such childish nonsense for one night?" asked Hiei right after his entrance from the window.
"Oh I see you decided to come" said Kurama with a smile.
"Hn" he said going to the window sill and sitting down.
"So uh... anyways, why don't we watch a movie or something?" asked Kuwa
"Alright" said Kurama standing up.
"I'll go get some popcorn Hiei come with me" he said as the fire demon rolled his eyes,
"What can't get pop-corn by yourself anymore?" he said as Kurama and him entered the kitchen.
They entered to find Ross was face down in her book asleep.
She groaned and moved her head to the other side, suddenly sitting straight up from the sharp pain she received.
"Mother Fu-" she stopped herself after seeing the two demons staring at her.
"What am I that interesting?" she said shutting her book and standing up.
"I see you decided to come, is Kurama blackmailing you with Yukina again?" she asked as Hiei frowned and huffed.
"Shut up" he said as she smirked.
"Anyways we're going to watch a movie you want to join us?" he asked as Ross pocketed her book.
"I suppose" she said as Kurama went to the cupboard to get the pop-corn, Ross went to the door, "I need some fresh air" she said as she went outside.
"Something's up with her" said Hiei after he heard the door snap, Kurama nodded.
"Yes, she is acting rather strange" he said as Hiei went to the door.
"I wouldn't mess with her Hiei," said Kurama making him stop from opening the door.
"Hn whatever like I care" he said as he left for the living room.
~*~ Ross breathed in the winter air and shivered at the winds raft.
"What is wrong with me?" she asked herself as she put her hand through her hair.
"I need to talk to someone" she said quietly as she looked at the sunset.
"About what?" said Kurama's voice from behind her, she turned around.
"What are you doing here?" she asked as he sat down.
"Well im waiting for the pop-corn, I couldn't help but over hear" he said as she sighed heavily and sat down in a chair next to him.
"Im having some... problems" she said as he raised a brow.
"What kind of problems?" he asked, as she side glanced
"No, No im not nuts or anything it's just" she said sighed heavily and put a hand through her hair.
"I think I... never mind" she mumbled as she stood up.
"Is it your mom?" he asked as Ross sighed.
"No... its not... well I don't know" she said as she growled.
"Im a liar, my family thinks im nuts, the school knows about me and Trunks and that im Gotein's sister and I lost my job" she said as he just looked at her.
"Wow a lot of problems for one person" he said as she glared at him.
"Yeah and that's not even the worse of it" she mumbled as she went to the door.
"Well I think you're blowing it out of proportion, you didn't tell anyone about your past because you were trying to protect them" he said standing and going to the door.
"Yeah" she said staring at him 'if only HE knew' she thought as shook her head.
"Look life gets you down sometimes it'll work out I just needed to vent... thanks" she said opening the door he nodded.
"Your pop-corn's done" she said as he followed her in.

"This is such a chick flick, who picked this out?" asked Yusuke as Keiko glared. "Well its better than those bloody movies you watch" she said as he rolled his eyes.
"Sweet November come on Keiko I mean this is about some girl that fucks a different guy every month" he said as Keiko slapped him.
"OF COURSE that's all you would think of" she said as he shielded himself, Ross rolled her eyes and got from her position on the floor.
"I need to call my mom" she said going to the kitchen as the two fought,
"Yeah I know but..." Ross coiled the cord around her finger
"I told Gotein to tell you I wasn't coming in, YES I KNOW!"
"I FIGURED I WOULD GIVE YOY A BREAK!" she yelled into the phone.
"You know what fine see IF I come back!" she yelled hanging up the phone and sighing.
"Is that how you end every phone call?" asked Hiei as she spun around.
"Oh it's you" she said as he smirked.
"Who did you think it was the Easter bunny?" he asked as she huffed.
"Im even surprised that you know who that is" she said as he growled.
"Hn" she looked at him and sighed.
"Sorry" she said
"What did your mom say?" he asked as she growled.
"FUCK MY MOM LIKE I GIVE A SHIT WHAT SHE SAYS!" screamed Ross as Hiei raised a brow.
"Sorry" he said as she sighed.
"Its... ok I just GOD im so angry at her at everyone they all think im nuts or something and Gr... I wish I could tell them the truth and all but it would kill them 'literary' she said as she opened up a soda.
"Hn if you ask me she seems like a total bitch" said Hiei as Ross laughed in the middle of drinking she began to choke and went to the sink.
"Yeah you could say that" she choked out as she coughed a little more.
"Its called drinking woman ever heard of it" he said as she glared.
"Yes I've heard of it you Baka" she said as he gave a HN
"Hey you guys" said Kurama poking his head in.
"We decided to play a game instead, wanna play" he said as they rolled their eyes.
"Yeah alright I guess" said Ross going into the room followed by Hiei

"Alright what are we playing" said Ross sitting down in her usual spot.
"Truth or dare" said Botan as she groaned.
"Not this game" said Ross falling back onto the couch.

"Alright I dare you to.... Go outside and scream im a weenie until someone comes and beats you up" said Keiko as everyone smirked.

"This should be good" said Kuwa as Ross rolled her eyes.
"Tons" she said sarcastically.

"Shut up kid" he said as everyone laughed.
Yusuke came back with a large bruise.
"Very funny now it's my turn um... Keiko truth or dare"
"You can't do that" she said crossing her arms.
"Why not?" he asked, she smirked.
"You can't pick the person that picked you" she said as he rolled his eyes.
"Alright fine... Ross Truth or Dare" Ross rolled her eyes.
"Truth... im not into your stupid dares" she said as he rolled his eyes.
"Alright... um... how many people have you killed?" he asked as they moved their attention to her.
"Why do you care" she said as he smirked.
"Cause if you don't, you have to kiss Kuwa"

'WOO HOO the weekend' she thought as she turned the corner to the bus circle, she stopped in her tracks.
There was Trunks groping the biggest slut in school, Ross felt her book drop to the ground.
Trunks looked up, "Oh shit Ross wait" he said as she made her way past him.
"Wait let me explain" he said as she growled.
"I think I just witnessed a pretty good explanation, she said as he grabbed for his arm.
"DON'T TOUCH ME!" she said flinging him from her.
"I can't believe you!" she said now surrounded by the school.
"YOU FUCKEN LIER I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU WOULD EVEN TRY TO EXPLAIN AFTER THAT! WHAT DO YOU TAKE ME AS AN IDIOT!" she screamed at the now cowering Trunks.
"Oh don't worry, you can do what ever you want we're through" she said as she slammed her fist into a near but bus, leaving an indent.
She gave him an icy stare and took off for the road.
"What a jerk" said one girl as she left the circle, the rest of the group agreed with similar comments.

Ross whipped her eyes as she turned for home.
'Why do things like this always happen to me?' she asked herself as she took off in the sky a single tear running down her face.
