~Chapter 17~
Ross walked down the city street, Hiei's cloak clenched around her shoulders.
'Why did I do that?' she thought as she walked through the half lit street.
'Because you still love him' said a voice in her head.
'Not you'
'Sorry couldn't help but notice our dilemma' said argued with conscience.
'Yeah well.... I don't know what I was thinking'
'I do, you were thinking about kissing him'
'Grr... don't say that!' she yelled at herself as she pulled his cloak around her at the gust of wind.
'You love him'
'I can't'
'Sure you can you just proved it'
'But he's the reason we're both dead' she told herself as she turned a corner.
'Is that really a bad thing?'
'....'
'Maybe.... Its just fate' said her other half as it disappeared out of thought.
"Why is it I have to have a smart-aleck conscience?" she asked herself as the realization of her headache came to her.
"I should have never gotten drunk" she thought out loud as she raised a hand to her head.
She stopped walking and looked down, realizing she still had Hiei's cloak around her.
"Great...." She thought as she walked up the hill to her house.
"On top of everything!" she yelled to no one as she opened the door to her house.
It was full of people they all looked up to see Ross standing in the door way, she widened her eyes at the site.
"We were about to start a search party" said Kurama with a smile happy to see his friend came home.
"Glad to see you care" she grumbled shutting the door behind her and going to the kitchen.
"Where's the shrimp?" asked Kuwa going into the kitchen with the rest of the boys.
"How the hell should I know" she said taking out an orange juice carton and taking a swig.
"Because... you have his cloak" said Yusuke pointing to it, she stopped drink and threw the carton back into the fridge.
She shrugged, "I found it around me when I woke up" she said as Kuwa smirked.
"Aw... the shrimp actually thought of someone but himself" said Kuwa as Ross gave him a death glare.
"Just shut up" she said as he laughed under his breath... she rolled her eyes.
"Look" she said turning around and facing them.
"Im home and im fine so you guys can leave now" she said pointing to a door.
"What about your mom?" said Kurama, as she sighed
"I'll.... Deal with that, just go before things get any more complicated" she said looking at the ground.
"Alright... if you're alright, you're just acting kinda odd is all" said Yusuke as they went to the front door.
She opened it as they stepped outside.
"It's called growing up ... not everything goes as planned, Goodnight" she said closing it and sighing heavily as she looked into the living room to see her brothers, dad and Vegeta sitting around the room.
"Your mom won't come out of her room" said Goku as Ross growled.
"Whatever" she said going to her bedroom door.
"Sorry... im such a hassle, I'll fix the wall next week during break... goodnight" she said opening the door to her bedroom and closing it behind her.
"Uh oh" said Gohan as Gotein nodded.

"Why did she do that?" Hiei thought out loud as he rushed through the forest.
'She can't really.... Can she?' he thought to himself as he made his way to Kurama's house it was raining and he had just realized he didn't have his cloak.
He stepped into his bedroom and shook his head sending water droplets everywhere Kurama turned on the light after being showered on.
"Oh, it's you Hiei" he said as Hiei gave a HN and went to the closet taking out dry cloths he had stashed.
"Do you... know what happened to Ross?" said Kurama as Hiei stopped and turned around.
"What do you mean?" he asked as Kurama sat up more in his emerald green P.J's (Aw how kawaii ^^)
"I don't know she's acting kinda strange and... she had your cloak when she came home" he said as Hiei went back to picking out clothes.
"HN I found her passed out and shivering so... I covered her with my cloak, I figured she didn't want to talk so I left" he said as Kurama nodded knowing not to push the subject, Hiei went to the bathroom and closed the door to change.
'Hm....' Kurama thought as sleep captured him.

I had been a week or so and no one had seen Ross since her blow up, not even her mother. Gotein had spent the week at Trunks house after deciding Ross needed some alone time... and Trunks was going through a tough time as well.
-Knock-
Kurama answered his door to see Yusuke standing there with his arms crossed.
"Hello Yusuke please come in" he said as Yusuke entered.
"What's going on?" he asked as Yusuke flopped on the couch.
"Koenma just gave us a new case" he said as Kurama went to the fridge and threw a coke to Yusuke.
"Oh what is it this time?" he asked as Yusuke sighed.
"Ross' god daughter has been kidnapped" he said as Kurama sat down.
"Uh oh" he said as Yusuke nodded.
"Yeah... he wants us to get Ross, he says she's the only one that can get the info on where Jewels is" he said as Kurama nodded.
"Yes I understand only... no one's seen Ross in over a week I've tried to call her... she won't answer... im not sure it's going to be that easy" he said as Yusuke looked at Kurama.
"Yeah well we have to try, Kuwabara is on his way and I think Hiei just found out... they should be here soon we can go after they get here" said Yusuke as Kurama nodded in agreement.

"It took you long enough" said Yusuke punching Kuwa as they four guys walked up the hill to Ross' house.
"Sorry... I was on a date with Yukina" he said, Hiei growled under his breath.
Kurama smiled remembering at how much of an over-protective brother Hiei was.
-Knock-
The boys sat on the door step... hearing footsteps, the door opened to show ChiChi standing there in an apron.
"...."
"Uh hi we're here to see Ross" said Kurama smiling a bit uneasily.
ChiChi turned to leave the door way she pointed to the basement door as she disappeared from site.
They walked closer to the door only to hear loud music booming through the thin walls.
"I have a feeling this isn't gonna be that easy" said Kuwa as they nodded.
