"What are you doing?" she said turning to him as Hiei brought one of his fingers down to her chin, he stared into her eyes as if he could read her soul... Ross stared at him confused... Hiei tilted her face, she felt his lips on hers, her mind was blank and yet it felt... at peace, he tangled one of his hands into her hair... Ross let him deepen the kiss as she felt him tangle his hand into her hair, she brought a hand to his face as he let go.
He looked deep into her eyes as she stared at him confused.
"Ross... I think im falling for you"

"Wha... what you can't" said Ross sitting up from her position and going to stand turning her back to him.
Hiei sighed and stood behind her... "Why can't I?" he asked as she turned around.
"Because... you just can't I don't -"she was stopped by Hiei grabbing her and kissing her deeply. He let go as she stared at him.
"You cannot tell me how to feel besides you're the one who kissed me first remeber" he said as she sighed and pulled away, she began to pace the ground and ramble on in the saiyan language.
Translation * he can't love me; I mean its impossible why would he waste his time is this some kind of joke??....*
Ross kept at her rambling as Hiei crossed his arms and frowned.
"Do you always do that when someone tells you they like you?" he asked as she looked up and glared daggers at him.
"No just you" she said as he smirked.
"I thought so" he said as she growled and flopped on the ground.
"Why..." she said after a moment of silence.
"I..." Hiei blushed at the thought and sat down next to her and looked out at the water.
"Because... you're the only one that gets me..." he said as she turned to face him he looked deep in thought, she turned to stare ahead.
'I can't... hurt him again it's not fair... I can't do this' she thought as she stood up and began to walk the away.
"Ross..." he mumbled making her stop

"Why did you kiss me?" he asked as she sighed.
"I don't... look can we work on the current problem and-"
"Did you love him" he asked suddenly making her drop her hands to her side and turn around with wide eyes.
"Foolish ningen feelings" he said as she turned around and crossed her arms.
"No... I didn't love him because I don't know what love is excuse me" she said walking quickly away Hiei looked at her confused and stood up quickly running after her.
"Wait" he said appearing in front of her she as trying to keep herself warm from the cold breeze; he stared at her pale complexion.
"What do you mean you... don't know what it means?" he said looking at her as she sighed.
"I mean I don't know THAT kind of love... I lost it long ago excuse me" she said trying to move around him.
"Wait what, do you mean you lost it.... how can you loose it?" he asked as she sighed.
"You said you were in love once right?" she asked as he crossed his arms and nodded slightly.
"And how can you describe it?" she asked as he raised a brow and sighed... "I don't... remember" he said as she sighed.
"See... you lost it as well" she said moving past him leaving a stunned Hiei she had out smarted him not only that she WAS right... he had lost it.
"Wait" he said going in front of her again.
"Who did... you lose it too?" he asked as she blinked.
"Well who did YOU lose yours too?" she asked as he crossed his arms and blushed slightly giving an Hn.
"Precisely none of your BI business; look I know you like me and I think I like you too but the truth is im just not worth it... Im gonna go see if I can find some clues excuse me" she said as she passed him he was shocked... 'she thinks she's not good enough for me? And she actually admitted she liked me... kinda DAMN I hate theses ningen emotions I've been around here too long' he thought as her figure disappeared.
He growled at his failure and disappeared in one of the parks numerous trees.

'Man how could he make the same mistake twice' thought Ross as she walked down the cold street alone.
'I mean it cost him his and MY life last time what will happen this time?? And he doesn't even know who I REALLY am making it twice as complicated but boy he can kiss Ahh what am I saying?? What's next, am I going to admit that I still LO- no no this cannot be happening again I don't Love him I mean I don't even like him! Alright you have to admit that you at least like him. Gr alright fine I DO like him but I liked Trunks too! But this is another type of like he actually understands you Trunks didn't, no one else does admit it you guys are meant to be together. Oh shut up'
She argued with herself as she made it to her destination she opened the door to find the boy's still playing cards.
"Feel better?" asked Yusuke throwing down his hand.
"Shut up" she said going to her normal seat.
"Did you see Hiei?" they asked as she tried not to blush... "No why did he leave?" she asked as they dealt another hand.
"Yeah right after you left" he said and with that Hiei came in through the window Ross got up and went to the other room coming back out with her sword in hand.
"I didn't know you brought that" said Kurama as she fastening it around her waist.
"Yeah... well we better get going I think I have a feeling of where she might be hiding" she said as they packed up the cards and began to get ready.

"You think they're here?" said Yusue looking up at the abandoned ice cream shop.
"Yeah well I think there's a portal here somewhere that can lead us to Youko's old territory" she said as she went to the door that was boarded up she kicked it hard and the boards broke breaking the door open.
"Come on" she said as they followed she went to the back and looked at the dusty freezer doors...' One ... two.... Three'
"Here" she said dusting the small rectangular window on the steep freezer door, she peered in and swung the latch open letting the door creak open slowly she stepped in th see a blue swirling portal.
"Wait" said Hiei making her stop from going into the portal.
"How did you know this was here?" he said as she stared at him for a second and then smiled.
"I wasn't always I good guy remember come on" she said stepping through the others followed quickly after not wanting to ask.

"So uh where are we again?" asked Kuwa looking around the forest.
'We're on the border of Youko's territory" said Kurama as they walked further in.
"O" said Kuwa as Hiei went into one of the trees.
Ross sighed and as she decided not to and walked beside Kurama.
"Don't worry security has slipped since Youko disappeared" she said as Kurama nodded.

They had been walking for about an hour Ross had decided after awhile to travel through the trees after almost being attacked by a snake.
"So" said Yusuke putting his hand's behind his head.
"What is this Elaine girl like, is she hot" she said as Kurama sighed.
"Ha she'll probably use you as target practice" said Ross as she jumped down from her tree.
"What do you-" an arrow zoomed by grazing Yusuke' cheek landing in the tree behind him.
"Hey!" he yelled.
"That's what I mean keep on guard" said Ross as Hiei landed beside her.
"Well, well, well what do we have here" echoed a feminine voice as a young woman dropped in front of them.
Yusuke and Kuwa dropped their jaws while the others stayed on guard
She was about 5'9 and had long dark azure hair that ended right above her hip her ears and tails were cerulean while her eyes were menacing silver, she wore a blue bodysuit with her bow and across slung over her right shoulder.
"Identify yourselves" she said aiming an arrow at then a piece of hair strayed before her face.
"Please don't shoot you we don't want to fight" said Kurama
She lowered her bow slightly.
"The hell we don't" said Ross as she pushed to get in front.
"You have Jewels" she said pointing her sword at Elaine's throat, Elaine drew back her hand more tightening the bow.
"Who are you?" she asked as Ross lifted her sword to the fox's throat.
"Your worst nightmare, now give me her back" she said as Elaine smiled.
"I don't think you're in the position to give me orders young one" she said as Ross growled and just about lunged at her until Kurama grabbed her by the arms along with the other boys.
"Don't lose your temper she will kill you" he said as Ross struggled to get free.
"OH shut up Kurama she's got a human now let me go" she said as she struggled to get free, Elaine lowered her bow and looked at Kurama.
"So it is you" she said as Ross stopped struggling in Kurama's arms.
"Heh heh Hey Ellie" he said as Elaine stared and then fainted.
"Great..." said Ross getting from Kurama.
"Now see what you did now we have to carry her all the way to the stupid base" she said going to the unconscious Fox.
Kurama went and picked her up Ross sighed
"I swear you two are such drama queens" she said as they continued their walk.
Yusuke went to examine the girl in Kurama's arms.
"Wow she's pretty hot" said Yusuke as Kurama growled.
"Don't you already have Keiko" he said as Yusuke rubbed the back of his head.
"Oh yeah heh heh" Ross just rolled her eyes and went back in the trees.

"Great..."s aid Yusuke as he stared at the gate in front of them.
"Kurama is there any way to get past it?" asked Ross as he shook his head.
"Only a key" he said as Ross growled and dug in her pocket.
"Alright then" she said pulling out a metal instrument.
"I assure you Ross this gate is not that easy to get past" he said as Ross smirked.
'I know I remember it was a bitch' she thought as she went to work.
She heard a click and the lock popped Ross opened the door a crack.
She turned to see Kurama astonished face.
"Not all those things Koenma told you about me were rumors" she said as she poked her head in to see that the coast was clear.
"Alright come on" she said as they snuck to the bushes in front of the burrow. 'Hey" whispered Yusuke.
"Why did we just see if Elaine had a key" he whispered as Ross shrugged her shoulders.
"I guess I think of it now be quiet or they'll find us these Fox's have impeccable hearing" she said as she motioned for them to go through the half opened door.
-BAM-
Ross felt a hand tighten around her neck.
"And who the fuck are you?" asked a tall black kitsune as Ross struggled to breath. The others hid outside out of view
'That's now way to talk to a lady besides she kinda cute" said a purple spotted demon as he lifted a hand to touch Ross' face.
"WHO ARE YOU CALLEN A LADY" she screamed hitting him in the face and elbowing the one behind her in the gut... he gasped and fell to the floor.
Ross brushed herself off "Guess I still haven't lost my touch Come on!" she said looking at the door as the others proceeded.
They looked around the fancy hallway.
"Wow this place is pretty nice hey Kurama you said this was your old place huh?" he said as Kurama nodded slightly.
"Yes im sure Elaine was the one that took over after I was killed" he said as they hid from pacing demons.
"Man this place is huge!" said Kuwa as he looked around.
"Yes it can get confusing"
"Hide" said Ross pushing Kuwa to a corner as a tall demon holding a young girl's hand passed by.
"Kurone!" said Kurama wide eyed
"Jewels!" said Ross about to move.
'No" said Kurama putting a hand in front of her.
"Kurone isn't to take lightly" said Kurama.
"You're right im not" said a dark voice behind them making them jump.
"AH!" screamed Ross clinging to someone it wasn't like someone to sneak up on HER she looked to see who she was holding on to HIEI!!!
She let go and blushed slightly.
"Rozzy!" said the young girl as Ross went to gab her but Kurone put her behind his back.
"Let her go!" said Ross growling.
"You have Elaine" he said motioning to Kurama's arms.
"Yes I do so why don't we trade" she said as Kurone shook his head.
"Not that easy missy she isnt' mine to trade"
"Hey who are you calling missy!" said Ross balling her fists.
"Rozzy!" said the little green haired girl.
"Come one have a heart... what do you need a human for anyways?" said Kurama as Kurone smirked.
"What do you need Elaine for?" he said as Kurama blushed.
"This is no time to get embarrassed Kurama she's his mate" said Ross pointing to the red head.
"Youko" said Kurone letting go of Jewel's hand.
"Rozz" said Jewels running into the open arms of Ross, Ross kissed her head and hugged her tight she looked up at the still stunned Kurone.
"Yeah that's right... what did you need her for" she said as Jewels climbed into Ross arms.
"I was... I... I was bringing her to... is that really you Youko" said Kurone walking closer.
"Yeah it's my human form" he said as Kurone stopped.
"I see" he said as Kurama stared at his own partner.
"You didn't answer my question" she said glaring at the dark demon.
"I was taking her to see Lydia" he said as the boys raised their brows.
"Who... is that" they said as Kurama smiled.
"My daughter" he said as they dropped their jaws
