~ Chapter 23~
Ross walked slowly up the hill; she sighed and took out her CD player.

"Uh...." Said Yusuke sitting up rubbing his head.
"Eh... what time is it?" he asked looking around Ross' living room at the other boys, Kuwa laid sprawled on the floor while Kurama yawned and looked at Yusuke.
"I think its 9" he said looking around.
"Great.... Where's ... where's Ross and that kid?" asked Yusuke looking around.
"I think she took her back this morning" said Elaine stretching.
"O"
"Hey dufus wake up" said Yusuke kicking Kuwa.
"Huh?? Is it Easter yet?"
"Uh... no its TIME TO GET UP!" yelled Yusuke making Kuwa and the others cover their ears.
"Alright, alright Urameshi im up" he said sitting up.
"Have you seen her Hiei?" asked Yusuke turning around to the window sill.
"HN no" he said standing up.
"Im leaving" he said going to the door.
"Hey wait we'll go with ya" said Yusuke standing up.

Ross sat at the base of a large tree. She leaned against it listening to her mix, and sighed as she closed her eyes.
~ Dreamland~
"Come on Rose she's not that bad" said a Youko to a stubborn looking kitsune.
"Oh come on Youki she can't even hit a target let alone protect this base" said Rosa growling.
"How can you fall in love with something so weak" growled Rosa as she crossed her arms.
"Well at least I found a mate" he said as Ross growled.
"And what the hell does that mean?" she asked as Youko looked down at her.
"You know if you don't pick one yourself mom will for you" he said as Rosa ht the wall.
"Im never getting married fuck what they think" she said as Youko sighed.
"You know that its tradition for a female kitsune to-"
"Everything is always about tradition with you people let me reiterate im- not-going-to-get-married end of story" she said throwing her hands in the air.
Youko sighed "I don't know who could tame you anyway" he said getting any icy glare from his younger sister.

"Quit poking her man she's gonna be pissed" said Kuwa as Yusuke hit her with a stick.
Ross groaned and turned to her side.
"Im not getting married damnit" she mumbled under her breath. They looked at her like she was nuts.
She turned again and opened one eye rubbing the other.
"And what the hell are you doing?" she asked the group in front of her as she took off her headphones.
"We were just.... What were you saying about marriage?" said Yusuke raising a brow.
"Huh?" asked Ross looking dumbfounded.
"You were just" Kurama pointed at her.
"Nevermind" he mumbled as Elaine hid a smile.
Ross grumbled and stood up.
"Anyways we were on our way out" said Kurama as Ross smiled.
"Alright ... be careful" she said raising a brow... they turned and left to go down the hill, Ross sighed as she rubbed the back of her head.
"Marriage?" she thought as she turned to go to the house but was stopped by a wall she rubbed her head and looked up to see Hiei looking down at her.
"Ow" she said rubbing her head as she stoop up.
"Why aren't you going with-" she was stopped by Hiei grabbing her arm and bringing her closer.
"I was confused at what you meant before" he said as she sighed.
"Look" she said putting her arms around his neck, surprising him.
"I know I've been hurt... before but your right it's not reason to give up I... suppose it's just that I-" she was cut off by him kissing her swiftly.
"I agree" he said as she smirked.
"I knew you would" she said as he smirked at her.
"Just... don't hurt me ok?" she said as he brought her closer and kissed her deeply.
He smirked as she turned a bright pink "must you even ask?" he said as she smiled and kissed him.

Ross sat in class as she took notes, it had been a month or so and Hiei had been gone to Makura, Ross sighed as she bit her pencil. Things had pretty much gotten back to normal, her mother wasn't talking to her, her father was gone as usual, Gotein had moved back, and Trunks had gotten another girlfriend. Yep that was her life in a nut shell a fucked up family and a boyfriend who kills for fun.
"Ross" said her English teacher making her pop out of her trance.
"Huh yeah" she said as he pointed to the front of the room.
"Oh right" she said standing up she went to the front for her 'poem reading'
"Alright well I called this Dimensions of Reality" she said clearing her throat.
(BY the way this is my poem I own it you steal I kill ^^ sorry im kinda protective over my work)
"I had a dream last night, A dream of lights Lights...flickering screaming for attention Beaming...blinding its placid victims
I dreamt of A garden... A garden of roses Thorns bared Protecting the blossoms from harm
The moon and stars haunted my visions Glaring ominous rays through the ebony night Illuminating it's now diligent prisoners
They turn loyally to their captors Gleaming in the blinding light
A vision of hands Hands grasping The buds try to wither the storm drops of blood... Drip, Drip, Drip
Thorns bared Their diligent bodies escape.
I dreamt of, Falling Falling petals Flashes of scarlet and white As they fall gracefully to the ground Without a sound
Releasing an aroma, Of purity and bliss Were encapsulated in the sweet perfume" She finished putting down the paper, everyone clapped and smiled.
"Nice symbolism" said the teacher as Ross sat down.
'Hn yeah if they only knew I wrote that over 200 years ago' she thought as the next student went up.

"Hey Ross" said Gotein walking through the hospital halls Ross turned around.
"Uh yeah..." she said looking around she had gotten a new job as a hospital attendant.
"This came for you it said Urgent on it so I though I would bring it to you" he said holding out a letter Ross raised a brow.
"Son get back to work" said a fat nurse as Ross looked over at her.
"Yes maim" she said as she looked at Gotein.
"Uh alright thanks Bro I got to get back to work I'll open it in a sec" she said as Gotien nodded and left down the hall.
Ross went to the supply closet to get some blankets to make beds and looked around to see that the nurse was not around she took out her switch knife and opened the letter.
She looked at it with wide eyes as she read.

Ross crumbled it as her heart began to beat heavily.
"Damnit" she said before she fell to the ground pain.
-Knock-
"Hey I heard something fall is everything alright he-" the young nurse froze at the site of Ross holding her chest.
"Hold on I'll get... he... help I NEED A DOCTOR!!!" Ross heard her desperate screams as the world around her faded.

"Ross... Ross" Ross heard her name being called softly as the world came in focus a young pink haired nurse looked down at her.
"Oh my dear you're awake good" she said as Ross groaned.
"Oh my head" she said feeling her forehead she was in the clinic and had a monitor on.
"What happened?" she asked as the nurse smiled.
"You just had a spell, why didn't you tell us you had a weak heart" she said concerned.
"I didn't think it mattered" said Ross smiling softly.
"Shuuichi its this way dear" said a familiar voice Ross looked at the doorway to see Kurama's mother walking past Kurama not far behind.
"Mother I believe its here" he said pointing the sigh above the door, he peered in and felt Is heart sink.
"OH my gosh Ross what... what happened?" he asked rushing in.
"Im sorry sir but you'll need some ID to pass"
"Im her best friend is that good enough for you" he said angry.
"Its ok miss let him through I know him" said Ross as Kurama walked through his mother not far behind.
"Are you alright?" he asked as Ross chuckled.
'Yeah just had a spill is all" she said sitting up and feeling dizzy she laid back down.
"That's more than a spill" he said as she groaned.
"What are YOU doing here?" asked Ross as Kurama smiled.
"My mother she's here for a check-up" he said as Ross smiled.
"That's good I hope she's well" she said as his mother came in view.
"Oh my dear is that you Rossalynn?" she asked as Ross smiled ( yes she calls Ross by her full name ^^)
"Yes maim it is how are you?" she asked as his mother sat by the bed.
"I fine dear... what happened?" she asked as Ross smiled she wasn't use to this much attention.
"Nothing just a spill is all" she said as a nurse came behind her.
"Miss, take these" she said giving her a cup.
"Thanks" said Ross swallowing the pills.
"Maim we can see you now" said a nurse to Kurama's mother she nodded and left for the doctor.
"What really happened?" asked Kurama seriously, Ross sighed.
"I got a letter" she said handing it to him he read it and looked at her surprised.
"This isn't good" he said as Ross sighed.
"I know" she said as Kurama sighed.
"You didn't fall your heart is weak isn't it?" said Kurama as Ross grinned goofily.
"Well.... yeah but don't tell anyone alright I mean I already have enough problems on my plate" she said as Kurama nodded.
"Look" she said sitting up
"I have a rare heart disease that my dad passed on to me... as long as I take my meds I should be alright but it gets worse with time as do most diseases to uh... I think it might be getting worse" she said as Kurama sighed.
"Why didn't you tell us?"
"Well then you would have treated me like a porcelain doll and I hate that" she said as Kurama chuckled.
"So what do you think he'll do?" asked Kurama as Ross became serious.
"The question is what, won't he do?"
