~Chapter 27~
"Good job Ross" said Koenma floating above Marshall.
"Hn" she said crossing her arms and looking down at the demon.
"Just get rid of him" she said passing the group and going out the door, they watched her leave puzzled.
Koenma nodded to Botan who opened a portal stepping inside.
Elaine raised a brow ' I wonder what he did to her... its not like Rosa to let a hurt her like that and live to tell about it... there's something about her...'

Ross sat on the roof top; she rubbed her knee trying to erase the events of the past.
'Why can't anyone leave me alone' she thought as she put her head in her hands and stared at the cloudless sky.
She pulled the worn down journal from her bag and brushed a finger over the tattered cover.
'Maybe...' she thought as she opened it and began to write.
-Is this what I am going to amount to, my pasts, my worries but no future? I feel as if im living the same sequence of life over and over again... why can't I just get out of this time loop and move on?-
She closed the book after hearing footsteps on the roof top, she turned slightly to her right to see Hiei approaching her, and she put her journal away and placed her face in her hands.
Hiei sat by her, glancing slightly at her.
"So what is it that you keep writing in that book of yours?" he asked as Ross looked up at the sky.
"Just thoughts, hopes, dreams, nightmares...anything and everything I think" she said as he nodded slightly.
"Hiei..." she started but was stopped by an uproar of commotion, they looked down to see Kuwa and Yusuke fighting, Ross shook her head in annoyance and stood up looking over at Hiei quickly she jumped down to see what it was about.
Hiei jumped down and went swiftly over to where Ross stood.
"I need to talk to you now" he said grabbing her arm and pulling her away from the crowd getting confused looks as he did so.
"What's with him" asked Yusuke as Kuwa just laid on the ground in pain.
"Ah Urameshi I can beat ya , just stay still and tell your twin to get out of the way so I know which one im hitting" ( if ya don't get it he's seeing double) he said as his eyes swirled.
He pushed her into the kitchen and closed the door.
"Ah alright Hiei what the-" she was stopped by his lips pressed against hers; Hiei wrapped his arms around her tightly and pulled her to him.
Letting go he looked down at her, his ruby orbs burning into hers.
"Ross I-" he was stopped by Ross' lips captivating his own... she wrapped her arms around his neck and deepened the kiss not wanting it to end, knowing what would happen if it did.
'I wonder if he still...'
She moved her mouth to his neck making butterfly kisses to behind his right ear, she blew lightly making Hiei shudder under her torture.
"Hiei..." she said now facing him.
"Leaving it at that... I know you have to go back to Mukuro and the truth is... this will let us clear our heads, our minds and... by the time you come back maybe things will finally come back into order and we can work on US, but until then please just go" she said as he looked at her a bit shocked at her attitude the truth was she was just as scared about telling him about how she felt as he was.
"HN... alright" he said as Ross smiled sweetly.
"Alright" she said turning around with her arms crossed as if a cold wind had just blown through the room. Hiei nodded slightly and was gone... Ross sighed and sat down in a chair putting her head in her hands she groaned.
"What am I going to do?"
