Chapter 1
Being a lover of a Spirit Detective is very complicated. I don't get to see Kurama as much as I want to. Only because I don't want to fight. After what happened last time I just didn't know if I could do any more. My legs were in a cast for about 3 week because I was so weak for so. I barely got to see Kurama because Yusuke had gotten kidnapped and he had to help. I couldn't blame him though.
But now Kurama is back. At least I hope so. I haven't seen him for so long. Especially since it has been a week. And as I sit on the windowsill waiting,patiently,I keep thinking about him,and I almost loose hope. Where are you Kurama,I thought. Please be safe. Please come back to me. I miss you so much.
I hear footsteps coming. Oh please say that is him,I thought. The only thing I need to see is his face. I want to feel his sweet gentle kiss again. I need to see that smile that lightens my heart. Please Kurama...please by ok. I need to see you again...
"Nicole!"Kurama said as he opened the door and ran into my arms. He started kissing me. Oh god I was so happy.
"Oh god I missed you!"
"I missed you too."
I wanted to start crying.
"How are you feeling?"
"Great,now that you're here."
"I'm sorry I've been gone so long."
"At least you're alive."
"Yes,and you too."
"You've been gone for a week. I didn't think you were coming back. How is Yusuke?"
"He's fine. But let's forget about Yusuke. I didn't come to you because of him." He started kissing me again. "I love you."
"I love you too."
"I'm glad nothing happened to you."
"Nothing was going to happen to me Kurama. My legs weren't seriously injured."
"It's not just that..."
"Oh. Nothing in Spirit World has happened."
He kissed my forehead. "Good."
"How is Genkai?"
"Still her old self."
"Like usual."
"Yes."
"Kurama..."
"Yes?"
"I'm sorry."
"Don't be. You needed to get some rest. I love you. I don't want you to get hurt again."
"Same to you. But you can't help it."
He smiled and kissed me again. "Can you walk?"
"I've been at school all week Kurama. I'm fine."
"Well,I haven't talked to you in a week."
I sighed. "I know. I shouldn't have said that."
"It's ok." He kissed me again. "I'm just glad to see you again."
"Same to you."
