"Azeron! Stop that!"Zura pushed the mouse off her shoulder. She laughed as Azeron squeaked, and ran into her pocket. Azeron had been a gift from Dayzin, who said that demon mice were wonderful trackers and hunters. Zura was a hanyou, with long black hair, green cat eyes, claws, and two silver- furred cat ears perched on top of her head. Dayzin ran out of the hut, and hugged Zura. "I'm going to miss you, Zura." "I'll miss you, too, Day." Zura said as she hugged the redhead back. She smiled, and whistled for her horse, Asami. Asami, a white mare, whinnied happily as Zura climbed on and rode off. as night approached, Zura stopped Asami next to a lake, and took a drink. Her horse took a drink then Zura let Asami wander off into the forest. She climbed into a tree, and nearly fell out when she saw two girls approaching. She crawled onto a branch that was above the water and listened. "Kagome, how-" was all that one of the girls said before the branch broke and she tumbled into the water. Zura stood up and pushed a piece of hair out of her face. One of the girls pulled on her yukata. "Who are you?" she asked warily. Zura ignored her and climbed out of the water. The other girl was now dressed. "I'm Zura." She said simply, and ran off.
