A/N: I screwed up the set up for the chapters—so this one is shorter than I'd like it. The next one should be ok though. I am so happy people are enjoying it though. YAY! Until next time—PCGirl.

"Hey, are you ready for a fair battle of pool?" grinned John as he leaned to his right and pulled the table holding the pool table on it.

"I'm, I'm not really up for it right now, John," said Natalie as she turned to let Bo in also

"What's going on? Is it Haver—don't tell me the coward actually killed himself," he yelled.

"Calm down John," sighed Bo.

"No, I will not calm down—the man needs to pay, for everything. For what he did to Caitlyn and Gabrielle and everyone else—for what he almost did to Natalie just the other day too."

"He's going to be charged, hopefully—but the Bureau just called a bit ago. John, they let you go—called you a liability."

"A liability, huh?" he said looking over and seeing the pool table sitting on the cart and swung his good arm at it, making it fly across the floor. "I'll show them a liability—who needs them," he said running his hand through his hair.

"Well, I was hoping you wouldn't mind a pay cut and join the LPD full time. What do you say?" asked Bo.

"Let me think about it."

"Ok, I'm going down to the office and fill out more papers. Call if you need anything,"

"Hey—so how about that game of pool now?" said Natalie as she leaned over to pick up the pieces.

"Not now. Hey—why did you run out earlier when my mom came in?"

"Oh that—I just remembered I had to tell Bo something," she said shaking her head as it was nothing.

"And that would be? Do you remember something—like who it was he had call you and tell you that Christian was alive?"

"John—it's nothing big I swear," she said as she heard the door open again and his mom came in the room.

"Natalie—this is very important. Tell me now," he said getting angrier.

"It was me, John," spoke up Eve.

"What—are you sure about that Natalie?"

"Yeah, that's where I went earlier—to tell Bo that it was her voice I heard. I didn't want to accuse her in here with you—we weren't even going to tell you," she said looking back to Eve.

"They did hypnosis on me, and found out how he was able to get me to say that to her. You know I never want to hurt you, right?"

"I know—so what's next?" he said looking at one and then the other.

"What do you mean?"

"Well, in the past few days my mom has caused someone else to be kidnapped by a madman, then I get shot by said madman, and then because of everything I lose my job—any other bad news you all want to spring on me this would be the perfect time."

Natalie looked at Eve and they both shrugged.

"Get it over with already!" he yelled.

"The good news John," sighed Natalie, "is you don't have to look at that horrid wallpaper anymore."

"Jobless, bum arm, and homeless—and I feel like an Arctic blast is continually going across my back. Does anyone know when I can go home—well, out of here since I don't have a place."

"Tomorrow and you are coming home with me," smiled Natalie.
