Well i'm back (from out of space) *ahem* well here it is, There might be a paragraph problem so bare with me! And reveiw!!!!
Heartless
Jade stopped her attack as she felt a numbing pain spread through her body. Her blue tunic now showed signs of purple as a deep crimson swirled from the newly aquired hole in her chest. She felt a cold wind sweep past her and she knew she had faild.
Gorian was unavenged.
Saverok's face loomed above her tear swollen one. A grin spread across his face and Jade suddenly under stood the fraze 'from ear to ear'. Cleshade as it was that was how he pesented himself.
His black armour had caught the light and for a moment she was blinded. 'Like I've been the whole time' She thought bitterly to herself 'I am the child of Bhaal and by dieing I've killed millions'
For a moment she was back with in the hallowed walls of candle keep and once again she was sitting in the study. Gorian had left her an essay to write. it was intitled 'The profacy of Aulando'. The scroll the information was written on was old and faded but Jade could still make out the words:
During the days of the Avatars, the Lord of Murder will spawn a score of mortal progeny. These offspring will be aligned good and evil, but chaos will flow through them all. When the Beast's bastard children come of age, they will bring havoc to the lands of the Sword Coast. One of these children must rise above the rest and claim their fathers legency. This inheritor will shape the history of the Sword Coast for centuaries to come.......
The words flowed through her but seemed to make no sense. The Lord of Murder?. How can the children be good yet chaos still flow through them? She decided this would be a good topic for the essay; not knowing what it meant! Then through the open window Jade began to hear the chanters in the courtyard sing. Songs overlapped each other but one sang clearer than the others. Singing with a rough yet soothing voice words tumbled into her mind.
The Lord of Murder shall perish,
But in his doom he shall spawn,
A score of mortal progeny,
Chaos will be sown from their passage,
So sayeth the wise Aulando.
Across from her Gorian sat and as he too heard the words he looked up and caught her eye for a flicker of a moment. Even in that flicker Jade could see the fear and concern in his eye. Why would he be concerned after a profacey? He belived they were all lies. What could of changed his mind now? But as she began to think of it Imoen entered saying her usual welcome and the song and scroll vanished from her mind.
Saverok was saying something now but she couldn't hear the words. Only pain filled her.
Saverok yelled and Jade jerked hereyes open. A cooling blue light began to spread through her body and within a moment the pain had recreased to barely a trickle. Jumping up she spotted Dyanier and Branwen standing in the spell casting position. Branwen smiled at her and mouthed 'Good luck' whilst Dyanier concentrated on the ball of fire in her hands. The witha push she through it in Saveroks direction.
Jade turned in time to see him cursing with pain as his mutilated face rose from the flames. With a quick movement she was infrount of him and he had barely let out a gasp of surprise as she develed her bastard sword deep into his chest.
He fell. Blood staining the stone ground in a crimson pool
It was over. The heartless one was no more.
There done- i hope you understood it!
