It burns scarlet- scarlet like her lovely hair, scarlet like our lovely daughter's hair- when he calls fo her.
In her velvet black robes she hugs our daughter close to her chest, with tears in her eyes that never quite fall-She's afraid she'll never see our daughter again. Just like I'm afraid I'll never see her again.
So, I hug her against my chest, with tears in my eyes that never quite fall, and kiss her on the forehead- Just like she kisses our lovely daughter's forehead and brushes lovely scarlet hair out of lovely bluey-grey eyes.
Then Severus raps smartly against the door and our daughter is in my arms.
Lily kisses me swiftly and I hug her gently, Lily says a Mommy's Goodbye to our lovely daughter and then she's gone.
Emerald green eyes blurring bleakly behind bone white mask, Severus Snape by her side she apparated.
And I'm left alone, with our lovely daughter in my arms. Quietly I close the dooor and wait for the full moon.
