Hey everybody – this is my first fic so I don't know if you'll like it – it
contains a few spoilers up until about 1am to 2am in Season 3 – but that's
all! O as well pretend Nina was never the mole, Teri's still alive, and
there was never a Kate/Jack relationship or Tony/Michelle relationship –
that should cover it all 4 u!! Ok well I'll continue if I get enough
reviews – constructive critism welcome

Michelle stared longingly over at Tony and Nina. They looked so happy together, she only wished she could be the one in Tony's arms not Nina.
Michelle didn't have anything against Nina, she just really liked Tony. Tony had always being nice to her, since the first day she arrived at CTU; he helped her whenever she needed help and always would tell her to go home if she was working late.
Michelle had being at CTU for a little over 2 years now, she couldn't believe it, it felt like yesterday that she had first arrived at CTU and Tony had first greeted her so warmly. She remembered when she had first stepped into CTU...

Hi Ms. Dessler, I'm Agent Jack Bauer and I'm going to be interviewing you. Just this way please.
Nice to meet you Agent Bauer, please just call me Michelle.
Jack took her into a strange room which was there conference room – otherwise known as there main meeting room – She did not know this now but she would be in there almost every day.
Jack asked her a number of questions but she couldn't remember any of them because she was too nervous. This would be her first real job after all her training. She was so nervous if she didn't get the job, she had gave up her parents dream of her becoming a doctor, they hadn't even supported her to even go through to be a special agent. But she did it and now she was here.
As she was walking out of the room, she saw a man standing there waiting to go into the room. Hi, I'm Agent Almeida and you are?...

She remembered answering a quiet, little whisper "Michelle Dessler."
She heard that voice in her head all over again. God, how dumb was I? I should have answered loud and confident, she had thought to herself for weeks after the interview. She had been so nervous and she was a nervous wreck waiting for them to call and tell her if she had gotten the job.
She'd gotten the call about 2 weeks later; she had been so excited that she was going to work at the job she had dreamed of working at since she was a little girl.
Michelle....Michelle...she heard into the phone as she picked it up... than she snapped out of her daydream and looked up and saw Kim, Jack's daughter, in front of her calling her name.
"Hey Kim, what's up?"
"Michelle, what are the clearance codes to get into Sector 15. Adam needs to know to finish up his work."
"53231" Michelle quietly answered.
"Thanks Michelle" Kim replied as she headed towards her work station.
She looked over at Tony – He wasn't there.
She thought to herself, I guess he's gone out for lunch with Nina or something.
Michelle almost always went out for lunch by herself or just went into the caf and ate there.
Tony and Nina mostly went out for lunch together, and Jack always went to meet Teri, whether it was at home or they went out somewhere, she never really was sure where he went.
And than there was Kim, she went out with Chase a lot, but on occasion Chase would stay and work through lunch so Kim would eat in the caf as well so Michelle sometimes had some company.
Michelle looked up and saw Kim hadn't left to go anywhere yet, maybe she'd be able to go somewhere with her.
"Thanks for lunch Michelle, it was delicious and it was great to go with you, we should try and do this more often!" Kim excitedly said as they were heading back to CTU coming from the new café just down the street where they had eaten lunch.
The phone rang; she answered "Dessler" as she always did.
"Hey Michelle, its Jack – can I see you up in my office for a moment?"
"Be up in a moment" Click...
She wondered what he wanted.
