Prologue-I watched as a little girl sat on the river bank, annoyed slightly at the bugs surrounding her. I was bored and longing for a friend so I waltzed right up to the girl and swatted the bugs she was cowering from. She looked up at me and smiled, I noticed her eyes, they were big and brown. She sat upright, "Do you want to play with me? ," she requested, her brown eyes gleaming.
I nodded in response, relieved I had found a friend willing to play with me. She hopped into the water of the riverbank and wadded around for a few minutes, I did the same, except I refused to waddle. She splashed me playfully. I grinned at her and did the same, before I knew it, we were having a very heated water fight.
We stopped shortly after we became tired. We walked to her house, which was next door to mine and sat on her weird cerulean backyard fence telling odd stories of past events. Finally the girl asked me a worthwhile question, "What's you name?" I turned to her, "It's…" Before I could finish, my father swooped me out of my arms, "You need to come home, I have been looking all over for you. ," he said picking me up and bringing me home.
The following day, the girl rang my doorbell and asked to play outside. My father shook his head firmly and said, "He can't, you see, he is well, moving." From behind I nodded sadly, and waved goodbye. It stung my heart to leave the girl, after all, we were close friends even though we had only met a day ago. I walked up to her and promised, "I'll come back one day, I promise, you'll always be my best friend." The girl sadly nodded her head and left.
Though I didn't know it, I would come back. Little did I know that I wouldn't remember the girl, after all, she didn't give me her name. And when I did come back, things turned out to be a little more twisted than I thought it would be.

(A/N: Confusing Prologue, but it really fills you in on the story. The two Degrassi characters that I picked to of been best friends, but to not remember each other will be told in the next chapter, or the third one. The two I picked were not really best friends when they were little, it is part of the story that twists it!)
