Dragonheart: The Final Chapter Sequel
Adran and Adra were twelve years old, with blonde hair, blue eyes, and fair skin. Oswalla had taken care of them, for she had made a promise to herself to do so. Adran was the rebellious of the two and often quite the adventurer. Adra, on the other hand, was good-mannered and very shy. While Adran liked to pretend he was a knight and to pretend he was fighting dragons, Adra preferred to stay inside and help with the chores that needed to be done.
Oswalla was very aware that there was something special about the twins. She realized that Adran and Adra's draconic powers were manifesting. Adran could summon fire at will and Adra could summon ice. Oswalla sent the twins to be educated by a local wizard, Malthias. He taught them and developed their powers. Soon, Adran and Adra were accomplished magicians.
In another part of the land, Yanu was creating a potion to aid him in an attempt to take over the world. The only problem was that he had to have a dragon's heart. He knew about the twins and their half hearts. He started to kill villagers. Adran and Adra set out to the monastery for help. Brother Mansel, now very old, gave Adran and Adra his blessing and sent them on a quest to defeat Yanu.
"What can we do?" cried Adra. "We will have to use all we have," replied Adran. Along the way, the twins met a knight whose name was Fulke. Fulke went with them. They went to his castle. Adran and Adra used their dragon magic to get past the guards. Soon, the three found Yanu. "Your both weak, just like your father," said Yanu, "I killed him!" "You killed our father?" cried Adran and Adra. "Aye, you little half-breeds!" replied Yanu in evil laughter. "We'll kill you!" yelled the twins. Yanu struck at the twins with his sword. Fulk jumped in the way and was struck a fatal blow.
Adra fired her ice magic at Yanu and killed him. They went to Fulke's lifeless body. "Do you remember the legends of how Draco, Drake, and Drach shared their hearts with people?" said Adran. "Yes, I remember," replied Adra. "We should save Fulke like he saved us," said Adran. The twins cut open their tunics and cut their chests open. "Half of our hearts to make you whole, their strength to purify your weakness," said the twins. They then placed their half-dragon hearts into Fulke. "What happened?" said Fulke.
"We saved you like you tried to save us," Adran and Adra replied. "I think your father and mother would be proud," said the knight. "You think they would?" said Adran. "Yes," said Fulke.
In the years that followed, Adran and Adra lived their lives to the fullest. Some say that Drach and Adria were watching from above, giving reassurance to anyone who cared to look in the night sky. Adran and Adra did.
