Aki had no idea what was going on. She was tumbling through darkness, and
no anti-gravity had stopped her from plummeting to certain death. She was
starting to feel sick from spinning, when a suddenly sky blue light burst
from the darkness and engulfed her.
She was still falling, but she saw a much greener landscape from above, small dirt paths leading through and around the woods she could see clearly. She noticed some folks walking along the road, and saw the twinkle of four headbands...
It was as if the clocks had slowed everything but her fall. She tried grabbing for branches as she fell into the trees, but most snapped in her grip. She hit the forest floor, and began tumbling down a slope covered in bushes, rocks and trees, her body smacking and crashing into each obstacle in her way.
The clocks returned to normal, and the screams of pain and the crashing through the woods beside them perked up Naruto and Kakashi's attention. Naruto pulled out a kunai, but Kakashi placed his hand on top of his. Silence echoed from the woods, but Kakashi didn't drop his guard.
Aki was disoriented, and in great pain. Her side throbbed, and parts of her body were soaked in her blood.
"Guess that...first step...was a...doosie..." She wheezed, and exhausted from the fall, she collapsed.
She fell right out of the bushes and onto the dirt road in front of the traveling group. Sakura and Naruto shrieked in surprise, Sasuke and Mr.Tazuna were shocked, but Kakashi rushed up to Aki. Kneeling down and gently turning her on her back, he felt for a pulse on her neck.
"Still alive." He said, not sure if she was an enemy or not.
Before he had time to decide, two jagged chains flew out of nowhere and coiled themselves around Kakashi's body, binding him.
"What?!" he exclaimed, staring wide- eyed.
"One little piggy!" hissed one Shinobi in a menacing voice.
Kakashi's eyes went white with fear. With two huge tugs from the Shinobi duo, Kakashi spilled into bloody pieces.
"EEEYAA!!!" shrieked Sakura, grossed beyond description.
"MASTER KAKASHI!!!" cried Naruto and Sasuke.
"Two little piggies..." said two menacing voices from behind Naruto.
This all sounded too familiar in Aki's numb ears as she lay there.
