A/N: This is the second of my three poem series revolving around the main characters Mort,
Amy, and Ted in the novella and movie, Secret Window, each with their own points of view
about the situation around them.

His look for the moment was unbearable
I never regarded such a sight
My former love never expressed such as that
for good reason, I believe
yet although detached, I feel for him still
yet I do not think he will understand
He will not hear my plea,take kindness no more
Yet I feel remorse for his solitude
I caused this chain of reaction
What have I done?
No.
I must move on and so does he.
What happened happened.
I was not satisfied anymore.
I had to make a choice
I had to, for the sake of my happiness
Mort, do you not understand?
Do you not care for me?
For my own sanity?
