All of a sudden it hit her, what he had done. She felt sick, she had to leave so she did, she packed up and left and she never looked back. She ran to her car threw her stuff in the backseat and took off. She drove for about an hour and it hit her that she just left the man that loved her, that would've died for her just so she wouldn't have o face the pain of the world. She left the only real home she had ever known, her only real family. She couldn't take it anymore she pulled over on the side of the road and cried, for the first time in years she cried. Not just because she left the only place she had ever lived, the only family she had ever known, she left the only man she had ever loved. The man that would protect her from anything the man she admired, except he wasn't her protector anymore, there was only one thing he couldn't protect her from… herself. He couldn't take away the pain she felt when he came home drunk every night, the pain she felt when she was wondering if he was going to home that night, if he was ok. He blamed himself for everything that had happened, and what hurt the most was that he was right. It might have been everyone's fault, but he was the one that came up with the idea, sure they could've said no to doing the heists, but she wasn't going to. She would've followed that man to the end of the Earth if he wanted her to. But she left because she loved him, she liked the image she had in her head of him protecting her, she left because she couldn't stand to see him hurting like that, and she couldn't stand to see that perfect image in her head tarnished.
