"I can't wait `till tonight!" Rumple exclaimed to Jemima (or Jem) as she walked by Misto, (her tom friend). "Easy for you to say. You have a 'mate'." Jem mumbled. "Hey. I'll hook you up!" Rumple suggested. "Fine. Whatever." Jem started then went on, "I'm going to go. Call me!" "O.K!" Rumple yelled as Jem left.
~**~ Who would Jem look good with? Pouncey? Never. Jerrie? No. I KNOW! ~**~ Rumple thought as she walked. Then she started to run towards the old broken down basketball hoops.
"LONZIE!" Rumple yelled when she saw him. She caught a glimpse of Jem with Cettie a little away from Lonzie. Rumple KNEW that they were watching Lonzie and Jerrie fool around. Reason 1: Cettie was going out with Jerrie. Reason #2: Jem SO liked Lonzie. And Rumple knew that Jem could not resist. But Jem got up the minute she saw Rumple there. Rumple smiled and walked up to Lonzie.
"Lonzie?" Rumple asked. "Yo." Lonzie responded. "Do you have a 'mate' for tonight?" Rumple began, but Jerrie interrupted her. "RUMPLETEAZER! You cannot be thinking of going with Lonzie! I mean- Your 'mate' is Misto!" Jerrie complained. "Duh Jerrie, I would never cheat on Misto! But let me finish. Well Lonzie Do you have a 'mate'?" Lonzie shook his head. Rumple smiled. "Then hows about you and Jem?" Rumple questioned. "Um...Don't tell her I said it this way but...I'd love to!" Lonzie smiled. "MAGNIFICENT! THANKS!" Rumple yelled then left.
She told Jem and Jem was SO energized then.
That night, Lonzie went up to Jem. "I didn't think that you would say yes to ME!" Lonzie exclaimed. "Well. Surprises are good." Jem explained. "I have one for you." Lonzie whispered to Jem. "Oh really? What is-" Jem started but was cut off by Lonzie. He was kissing her passionately. Jem (of course) kissed back. When they were done, Jem muttered, "Now THAT was a high-quality surprise Lonzie." Lonzie laughed. Then they went off and danced the night away.
