"He's going to go down. Don't worry about that," she balled her hand into a fist. "Because I never give up. And I'd rather go down fighting then standing there, doing nothing. But that won't happen. Because I'm going to win!"

"Pardon my being so forthright about this, but could I ask you to lunch? It is about lunchtime, and I don't know about you, but it's beginning to sound quite tempting,"

She blinked, trying to stop her mouth from dropping open. Had Ryu just asked her to lunch? What the… that certainly was unexpected! "Sounds good to me. But you better not be paying. I'm more then capable of paying myself,"

Much to her surprise, he didn't protest, he simply nodded. "If it makes you feel better,"

Thankyou, she thought mentally. Because it does.

It was a nice restaurant, not excessively expensive, or dauntingly cheap. Even as she scanned down the menu, she found her mouth watering and mentally berating herself for not eating breakfast. When a waiter came around, she found herself smiling at him. Quite good looking, actually. Perhaps I can have him for lunch instead.

"What would you like to order, madam?"

And wouldn't you just like to know. "Let's see… gyoza as the entrée, and the sushi plate for one please. Oh, and a glass of iced tea,"

"Just an entrée of the sushi, thankyou, and a glass of water,"

She smiled despite herself. "Thanks. Make me feel like a pig, why don't you,"

"Be my guest,"

Dining with Ryu wasn't as daunting as she originally thought it would be. To think that he would do something as human as eat. A year ago, sad as it was, she would have assumed he didn't. He just seemed too… inhuman to do something as petty as that. But here he was, eating in front of her. Her gyoza came first, leaving her with what could potentially be a difficult situation. She gestured to the food in front of her. "Mind?"

He shook his head. "Go ahead,"

Soon enough, his food came as well, and conversation slowed as their attention was drawn towards the food. Towards the conclusion of the meal, she spoke up about something which had been on her mind for some time now.

"You never actually mentioned why you came on holiday here,"

He stood up, shaking his head.

"That was for a reason, Leifang. I wouldn't want to spoil your holiday,"
