Rated PG for shounen ai and a tiny bit of violence
Disclaimer- I don't own Inuyasha! But I wish I did!
Author's Notes- I wrote this for my sister Taitofan, even though I don't like this couple. She helped with a few things like spelling and spacing for me, but I wrote the content. This is my first time writing shounen ai (I'm only twelve!) but as for criticism… Bring it on baby! Finished on April 26, 2004
It was a hot summer day and Inuyasha and Kouga were all alone in the quite woods.
"It's great being away from Kagome, I am tired of her always ordering me around," said Inuyasha, in a voice only to be heard by his lover drifting asleep right next to him. Kouga was suddenly startled.
"Oh no! She's here!" Inuyasha jumped to his feet.
"Who's here?"
"It's Kagura. I must kill that beast." Inuyasha was not pleased to hear that Kagura was there. He narrowed his eyes.
"Let's go get her."
Kouga and Inuyasha started running as fast as they could to where Kouga thought she was.
"Hello!" said Rin, giggling. "Sorry if I startled you."
"What is the meaning of this Rin?!" asked Inuyasha.
"Sesshoumaru is not the nicest person to you so I decided to make you happy."
"By doing what?" asked Kouga.
"If you look at the view..." Inuyasha and Kouga started to look around. Kouga's mouth dropped wide open.
"HOLY!" Inuyasha waved his arm at Rin and she got the message. Rin ran quickly away.
There was a pond with flowerbeds all around it. Inuyasha raised his eyebrows in awe. Kouga swept his lover off his feet and jumped into the pond. They came closer to each other and their lips touched, Inuyasha holding Kouga's hands. Kouga took Inuyasha's arm and lowered him to the flowers…
It was pitch-black now they had fallen asleep. A cool breeze woke Inuyasha.
"Huh..." He looked around to see Kagura. Inuyasha jumped to his feet.
"What do you want?"
"Oh Inuyasha, it is quite obvious. I want revenge." She glared at him and a shot of black light came out of her eyes. Inuyasha yelled out a scream of pain, his chest starting to bleed. He closed his eyes and fell to the ground. He tried to look up, but she was gone. He lay on the ground motionless.
Kouga woke up hours later to find Inuyasha in pain. He was frightened and angry at the same time. Wanting to get some place safe for Inuyasha, he picked up the white haired hanyou and carried him for a few hours until he woke up. The wound was healing so they decided to rest for a while.
Once Inuyasha was better, he wanted to make it up to Kouga. He asked Kouga what the best thing they could do and Kouga replied with a soft smile…
"Just to be with you."
