A Lonely Life

Invisible ears
hear my voice.

Unseen lips
speak my name.

Imaginary arms
comfort me.

I.... lead a lonely life.

Forever in the shadows
away from the light.

Music in the dark
singing to the stars.

A patch of darkness
in a world of light.

I.... lead a lonely life.

No one to turn to
No one there.

No one to come home to
and hold in my arms.

No love to warm
my cold loveless heart.
