Looking about my past, I wonder why I smile...
I wonder why I laugh; I wonder how I stay sane.
I wonder how the tears that fall
From this pallid face of mine,
Are not tears of crimson, from the blood I have betrayed.
Or rather the blood that betrayed me,
My own state of mind,
It was my family's fault for my peril now...
It was no fault of mine.
I smile as everyone that sees me,
I smile as they pass by.
A loving little boy, they see,
No place for tears or pain.
Yet they might see...
One day...
When this smile curls a bit too high,
With these eyes of blue narrow in pain,
When I cut through my enemies,
With this bloodstained blade of mine.
And as they stare, all I'll do is smile,
Wiping the blood away,
Their gasps are silent as the blade returns to its place,
As I wish them all a lovely day.
My master I shall never disobey...
I live to serve him alone.
I'll crush all who try and defy his name...
And never turn my head away.
...I'll continue to smile, and walk on...
Because this is my life...
This is who I am...

This is my smile of reality.
