I stood there, dressed in black, facing all of these people, some of which I had never seen before. Pain was in all of their eyes, but none of them had more pain then I did. They were all there for the same reason I was, to show respect, to mourn, and to say good-bye. And now they are waiting for me to speak, for me to talk about him. I had a whole speech planned out, but the words won't seem to form in my mouth. I can't speak. I am supposed to tell them about him, but I don't think it's possible for me to do that in the time I was given to speak. There is so much to say, so why aren't I saying it? Tears form in my eyes as my mind flashes back to the very first time we ever met.

It was mid-after noon when Buffy, who was sitting in her front lawn, saw the moving truck pull up to the house right across from her house. She had been expecting them to come, but not this soon. The Johnson's, the family who had just moved out, had left only yesterday, and now the new neighbors were already moving in. Buffy, however, was not upset about this. She had never been very close to The Johnson's even though she had lived across from them almost all of her life. She was actually excited about the new arrival. In the twenty one years she had lived in her neighborhood, they had, had only a few new neighbors come into it. Buffy wondered up the newcomers. Would it be a family, or a woman around her age? Maybe it might even be a guy.
Suddenly Buffy's thoughts were interrupted by loud music coming from up the street. She looked up to where the sound was coming from and saw a black car quickly approaching, and it was the one emitting the loud, headbanging music that had so rudely interrupted her train of thoughts. Buffy was shocked when the black car, which she now could see was a Desoto, pulled right up behind the moving truck across the street. "What in the –"Buffy had began to say to herself, but then stopped when she saw the man who stepped out of the car. She tried not to, but she couldn't help staring. He was so...well built. Suddenly the stranger caught her gaze and smirked. This quickly made Buffy turn away blushing. 'Is that my new neighbor? It has to be, right? I wonder if he has a wife...or a girlfriend. Wait, what am I thinking? No! He's bad. Men are bad, dirty dogs! No, I like dogs. So men are worse then dogs. I don't even know what they are. Stupid Angel and his stupid-'Buffy quickly cut off her thoughts when she realized where they were going. She wasn't supposed to be thinking about him. She told herself she wasn't going to. She was going to forget him completely.
Buffy stood from her lounging spot on the lawn and got up and walked into her house. She closed the door to her house, as she attempted to close the book on Angel in her mind.
