Those who are familiar with the story of Sailor Moon should be familiar with the background story of the relationship between the Princess of the Moon Kingdom during the Silver Millennium, Serenity, and the Prince of the Earth, Endymion. However, I intend to let people know of just exactly how this relationship began in the first place. The beginning of these events happened one year before the attack of Beryl. Her attack was on the day before the two were to be married. The day started off normally, with Endymion and his parents taking a routine trip to meet with the head family of the Silver Millennium. Endymion had met Serenity before, when she was a few years younger and immature to say the least. He wondered if she had changed any since the last time he saw her, and was hoping she had since he didn't care much for her juvenile behavior. He looked all around him at the universe that was beyond Earth's atmosphere, encased in a bubble-type transport with his parents. His eyes weren't really focused on anything, thinking about the upcoming events of the day. Gradually the surface of the moon was drawing nearer, and he could make out the small form of the Moon Palace. He was well aware that as they got closer it would begin to grow immensely in size. A few minutes later, he could make out the tiny figures of the reception party, the royal family members, and surrounding what looked to be the Princess behind her in a horseshoe were the five figures of the Protector Soldiers. As they began to descend on the landing pad, he didn't notice the figure of Serenity because he was busy gathering his things and preparing to climb out of the vehicle. His parents had already gotten out, and were exchanging formal greetings with Queen Serenity, the Princess' mother. She was a very striking woman, and one could go so far as to say the most elegant, angelic, and graceful woman anyone ever had the honor to set eyes upon. Everyone who knew her only spoke generous and kind words of her, for that is exactly the kind of person she was. The same could be said for her daughter, but only on rare occasions did she let her compassionate side show. At this time as Endymion was climbing out of the ship, Serenity had taken a few steps toward him, making herself just visible enough to show him that she had grown. When he had stepped down out of the hatch and turned around, he was immediately startled by the womanly figure that stood before him. She wasn't very tall, but that made little difference compared to the rest of her changed appearance. Her hair was beautifully done, in the same style as her mother's, and she wore an absolutely exquisite dress that accentuated every feature of her body, and it seemed to float about her as she moved. Her flowing hair became like golden snakes in the air currents, fluttering out behind her in twisting patterns, sometimes crossing over each other, but never getting tangled. One could tell there was an air of dignity about her, more so then when she was a young, rash child. She stood there with her arms held down and her hands clasped in front of her stomach, and as Endymion turned around, she almost had the same reaction as he did, jumping back a bit and looking almost a little startled at the man who stood in front of her. She never quite realized how handsome he had looked, and for the first time she began to experience new feelings toward him, visibly blushing.
