What's Up Doc?

Cecilia walked into the hospital. The nurse there murmured under her breath something along the lines of, "...poor Queen.." and a "...nutty doctor."

The young Queen looked around the hospital. In the beds she spied people that had been reported missing ages ago. I should have known, thought Cecilia.

"Ah! My Majesty! What brings you to my humble establishment?" asked the excited doctor, leaving his current patient. The patient heaved a sigh of relief. "Are you injured? Did you come to be healed by me?" pursued the doctor with a glee that most would not have when their Queen was injured.

"I...ah..We are here on a...ah...routine inspection of the..ah..hospitals and their health practices," lied Cecilia. Oh these poor people.

Immediately everyone in the hospital started jabbering about their deteriorating health due to the doctor. About how they haven't recovered from their wounds or about how they are worse than when they had come into the hospital. A few were determined that the doctor was trying to kill them.

Through all this the doctor had just stood there smilling. When the noise had calmed down, he turned to the nurse and said, "I beleive a few of the patients have become delirious. We should start them on a new treatment, right away." He turned to a patient, signaling the nurse to come, and started to pinch and poke him with various instruments that Cecilia had never seen in a hospital.

As the nurse went by Cecilia, she whispered, "I don't think he is a certified doctor."

"Sir, are you certified to be a doctor?" Cecilia asked. The doctor turned around and gave her a puzzled look.

"Who told you that you need to be certified? That's just a tall tale. You don't get certified to be a doctor. All you need to be a doctor is a big heart and a love to fix things!" beamed the proud doctor.

Everyone was stupified at this. On a chance glance around the room, the horrified Queen saw what was the tonic the doctor had been treating his patients with. Machine oil. From the looks of it, it was probably taken from Emma's stock of oil for the Gull Wing.

Soon the Queen had the royal guards, Jack and Rudy help her oust the doctor, who was very adamant on staying with his patients.

Outside the town of Milama, a wandering doctor came upon a sign that read, "Wanted, Professional Doctor for the Sweet Candy, docked at Port Timney."

The doctor grinned. "Well, like I always say, all you need is a big heart and a need to fix things."

As he started for the journey to Port Timney, he looked through his bag. "Do I have everything?...Yes! I still have thirty extra bottles of that great tonic I found in the shed at Adlehyde!"

The End
