Bloody Davy Bonney stood on the deck of the ship. The wind blowing through
his long blonde hair, with gray roots that showed through. His beard and
mustache feeling the cool night air. He wore tight black pants, a white,
now dirty, shirt, and boots. Various sashes and belts adorned his waist. At
seven feet tall, anyone would think that he was Captain of the Golden
Oyster. But he wasn't. He was however, the first mate.
A parrot squawked overhead, and he made a grimacing face. The noisy, colorful parrot belonged to Bloody Anne Rackham. Captain Bloody Anne Rackham. He saw her coming up onto the deck from the Captain's Quarters below. Her reddish-brown hair had light streaks in it from the sun. She wore a sash around her head and had beads in her hair as well. She too had on tight fitting black pants and a white shirt. Over her shirt she wore a black vest. She had a sash tied around her waist, which kept her gun holster and sword in place.
She walked around the deck, to observe the rest of the crew. Her second mate, Black Tom Kidd, with his with his shoulder length black hair and face stubble was giving her what looked like to be a sneer. She narrowed her eyes at him, and went for her gun. Her first mate, Bloody Davy Bonney, put his hand on top of hers.
"Easy Anne. He's just fooling with you." Bloody Davey Bonney told her as he gave Black Tom Kidd a wink.
She frowned. Leave up to those two to be up to something. She shook her head and walked around the deck some more.
Harry Vane, with his long blonde hair tied back in a ponytail, was eating an apple and looking in the mirror at himself while smiling. Sure, he wasn't as flamboyant as his shipmate, Calico Jack, but he was close enough. He looked over and saw Anne and ran up to her.
"Anne, when are we going to reach land? I know the masses are waiting to see us!" Harry Vane told her.
She let out a sigh and stared over the horizon. Soon, Rico landed on her shoulder and let out a loud squawk.
"Soon Harry. Soon. Give it one more day."
Calico Jack was wandering up to her, grinning. He had his left draped arcoss a younger fellow he had pick up in Tortuga. His real name was Charlie. They had not yet picked out a pirate name for him. Charlie had a pained look on his face.
"Isn't he just the cutest thing?" Calico Jack said.
"Please, release me." Charlie begged, whispering to Anne.
Anne smirked and squeezed Charlie's cheeks with her right hand.
"We need more men on this ship, and besides, Calico has taken a liking to you. Think of a name for him, will you Calico?"
"It will be my honor!' Calico Jack said before he skipped away, with his reluctant captive in tow.
Dirty Tom Turner was seen leaning against the side of the railing, next Iron Will Adams. Both of them were also chomping at the bit to go to land, but it wasn't to charm the masses out of their belongings. These two were looking for a fight, as always. Dirty Tom ran his right hand through his short black hair, while Iron Will cracked his knuckles. A far away, but yet menacing look was on his face. Both men had gotten into their fair share of fights and scraps. In almost every town that the crew of the Golden Oyster invaded. It was equally amazing that they managed to barely make it out of the fights alive. Bloody Davy Bonney looked over at Captain Bloody Anne Rackham.
"Where are we going? You seem more quiet about this trip."
"To Port Royal. There is a recent treasure there that I desire."
"Oh, a treasure for you?"
She narrowed her eyes at her first mate.
"Not all treasures are silver and gold. And don't be making the same mistake Layfield did and try to start a mutiny over this."
With that, she went back down below to the Captain's Quarters, with Rico close behind.
