Holly added a few last words to the report and gazed around her office... Boring.. Simply boring...
Trouble came through the door.
"Sorry to be back again but they want you down in the Techie floor..
"Ok, thanks Trouble."
Trouble walked out. Holly got up and walked down the halls..
Why am I stuck with Vein? Why?? Do I deserve it? I can't think of why after this whole Artemis Fowl affiar is done with, that they stick me with him. I'd rather Chix Verbal! No actaully.. No..
Holly made her way down to the techie floor and was greeted by Foaly.
"Hey Honey. Not a good pick?"
"Yeah well I'd trade you places anyday."
"Sorry honey. The gadgets or to sophisticated for you."
Despite his Foaly's teasing Holly smiled.
"Faoly, I've punched fairies for less than that."
"I know darling."
"WHAT ARE YOU TWO DOING!"
"Was that a rhetorical question Julius?"
"Shut up Pony boy.. Short grab a gun and get going."
Holly ran and picked up a Neutrino 2000. She liked it the best, even though there were better guns out now.
"Grab a ride up to the surface, Holly. I'll be watching."
Holly ran out of the building. Despite her partner, she would be more than happy to go above ground and feel the wind with fresh air. And if Vein made this a challenge, well thats what she liked. A challenge.

Holly shielded and flew out. Vein was right behind her. She sighed and signaled to Foaly. His voice came ringing through her helmet.
"Whats up Holly?"
"How bad is this security breach? I mean nothing really happened in Haven." She was surprised at herself that she hadn't asked this before, but she had been complaining about Vein.
"Small one. Someone was messaging to someone."
"Foaly if this is a false alarm, I will personally make sure you dont get carrots for the next decade."
"Nope, they knew too much."
"Whose they?"
"Whoever owned the computer. Or used it."
"So I'm dealing with humans. Great."
"Simple mind wipe and you can come home."
"Alright."
Holly cut the connection and angled her wings slightly. There that was the building! Great. She landed staring at the building.
"Its a high school. It means some teenager was doing this?"
Vein landed beside her.
"Sure it isn't your Artemis friend? I mean the one that you liked?"
Holly glared at him and walked closer to the school She checked for life forms in the school. Nothing but spiders and bugs.
"I suppose we should go find the computer that sent this information."
Vein nodded thinking how boring this was.
"I stay here Holly. You get to check it out. Remember?"
"Yeah. Sure.." She muttered under her breath, a few "friendly" words.
She flew up into an open window. She landed in a classroom.
"Foaly, Where is this computer?"
"Ahh lets see. Down a flight of stairs and to the left."
Holly walked out and down stairs.
"Ok now what?"
"The room to your right."
Holly cautiously walked in. One singuler computer in the corner of the room was there. She turned it on and watched it load.
"Ok, so what was the point of this?"
"Make a connection to the computer."
Holly opened her pack and set a metal something up.
"Got it ok.. The student that did this is Maria Kingly."
"So?"
"Your the lucky one that gets to find her."
"Reminder to me: Jump with joy and hide connectiong wires from Foaly."
"Ok, could repeat the last part? I think it was: I know if I take those wires from Foaly, Haven will be in chaos."
Holly jumped out the window and flew off to Vein who was no where to be seen. If I were Vein where would I hide? Lili Frond's office. Ok that isn't helping. Wait no one's here. Why is he sheilding?
Holly stayed above flying and sheilded. She checked for life forms. There! At the side of the building. She flew her way down and unsheiled. The human gazed at her not scared in the least.
"I'm Holly Short and you are?"
"Thorn."
