Hey all,
Look. I'm actually updating. Thanks to begs from friends and a few reviews which I am very grateful for.
Anways, on with the credits.
I do not own Holly Short. She is Eion Cofiers and I respect that. As is any other Artemis Fowl character.
I own everybody else.

Onwards to the story!

Holly gazed out. It was hard to believe. But she didn't think Thorn would lie. But Root would want proof.
"I believe you Thorn but Commmander Root won't."
"Beetroot won't. I know. You need pictures right?"
"Yes. That would be good."
Holly glanced at Thorn. She had planned this. All of it.
"Come on, Holly. I know the best spot."
Thorn slid down the side of the hill, below to the mouth of the mine.
Holly sighed, took off Thorn's helmet and put her own on.
"Holly?"
"Hi Foaly. Look, you have a camera mode right?"
"Yes Holly. I have live video cords. You know that! You're spending too much time with those mud people. You're forgetting science."
"Foaly, you can bug me after. Just keep watching and have extra copies of this."
"You got it, babe."
Holly let the remark go. She'd get him later. She slid down after Thorn.
As she came towards Thorn, she shut off her connection of vocal communication with Foaly. He might get into a fight with Thorn.
Thorn didn't head to the mouth though. She went to the right side.
"Thorn, what are you doing?"
"They have the main entrance guarded. And keep your voice down."
Holly scowled and followed.
Thorn smiled and scuttled off. She ran to the side and pushed bushes aside. She could see her arms turning red from scratches and a bit of blood. She went onto fours and crawled into the hole that appeared.
Holly followed, quite bored of this. She was beggining to doubt Thorn. So they discovered Haven. Who cares? They told the people. They would get mind wiped. They were just idiotic kids. But deep down Holly knew she was believing her and knew. But her doubts kept coming back. This is how Root saw it.
Thorn kept going. The tunnel was completely dark now, but she kept going.
Holly though she could see very well, reached and turned on her helmet lights.
Thorn jumped at the light and hit her head.
"Ow! Turn those off!" She hissed.
Holly shut them off instantly.
Thorn sat down keeping her head low. Now she had to wait for her eyes to adjust again.
Holly gazed around her eyes adjusted. They seemed to be going absolutely nowhere.
Thorn sighed and began crawl again. A bit further and she would be there.
Holly followed keeping silent.
Thorn reached an opening and stopped. Holly came along beside her.
"We came at the right time." Thorn whispered. "Lunch hour is over."
Holly was about to reply, when a troll came lumbering down the long tunnel. It had a collar of chains and behind were two goblins whipping at it.
Holly stared and started to get up. She whipped out her neutrino prepared to let off a few shots.
Thorn stared wide eyed. She bumped into Holly.
"No! There's hundereds of them down here!" Thorn spoke so quietly Holly almost missed what she had said.
Holly wanted yell but answered in a fierce whisper. "Then what are we doing here?"
"You didn't believe me. When I first told you, I knew you didn't believe me. Here's your proof."
Thorn turned seeing a gun pointed to her forehead.
The goblin muttered sometihng. Thorn understood nothing but realized she was about to be shot.
Holly crawled off to the side. The goblin hadn't noticed her.
Thorn smiled suddenly. The goblin was confused by this. Thorn whipped out her dagger and slashed at the goblin's hand holding the gun.
Unluckily it did nothing. The goblin roared in pain but the gun didn't move.
Thorn winced. The noise was sure to attract others. Suddenly a laser burst flashed for a second and the goblin fell to the ground.
Holly smiled. "Don't worry, he's just unconscious."
Thorn nodded. "Thanks. Now let's get out of here."
Thorn turned down into the dark passage way.
"Where are you going?"
"This mine branches off everywhere. There's one that will lead us right outside and no crawling."
"You know where you're going?"
"I explored these mines for months before they were taken over. I know it like the back of my hand." Thorn glanced at the back of her hand. "Well that was a lie, but come on. I promise it'll be alright."
Thorn took off at a fast pace.
Holly went right after her noticing Thorn hadn't put the dagger away.
Thorn took the twists and turns knowing Holly thought she was lost.
Holly definately thought Thorn was lost. This girl you could hardly trust.
Thorn chuckled and ducked into a small tunnel. Holly sped on by.
Holly didn't stop running but she couldn't see Thorn.
Thorn laughed and followed Holly. She knew she was in the abondoned part of the mine and it didn't matter where Holly ran.
Holly slowed slightly, feeling worried. She couldn't see Thorn not in this blackness. She suddenly felt cold hands on her shoulders. She jumepd up and spun around, only hearing Thorn's laughter.
"What you do that for?"
"You think I'm lost."
Holly was stunned. This mud girl was a mind reader.
"No, I can't read minds, Holly. It's written all over your face. Come on. It's not far now."
Thorn started off at a fast pace, leaving Holly to put her thoughts together and follow.
A few more twists and turns and they were out, blinking in the bright sunlight.
Thorn said nothing her face blank.
Holly was surprised. Had she been in Thorn's shoes an 'I told you so" would have been already out of her mouth.
Thorn smiled. "I say nothing because had I been you I wouldn't have believed either. Come on, back to the bike."
"It's on the other side of this mountain."
"Sure it is, Captain. Now talk to that Foaly or whoever.
"I will not take orders from you."
"I know. But he'll be wanting to talk to you."
"And how would you know that?"
"You had a partner right?"
Holly gasped. Vein! She had forgotten. Root was going to kill her.
"Yes. He's probably gone underground now. I would suspect a whole lot of trouble."
Holly sighed and turned on her communications link.
"Holly! I saw it all!"
"It wasn't much Foaly, but we have to believe Thorn now."
"Vein came down. Root blew it. He wants to talk to you."
"Now?"
"No, but soon."
Holly was confused Foaly wasn't telling her something.
"Foaly what's happening? What's going on?"
"Root came up. And he went to the mud girl's home."
"No."
Thorn said it quietly.
"Your commander is in danger, Captain."
"What?"
"The guys will shoot at him. And there's no telling what Velatrix will do."
Holly stared at Thorn. The girl was worried.
"Holly, cut the connection and let's go."
"We're on the other side of the mountain!"
"No, were not! Come on."
If Thorn had been fast in the tunnels, she had been slow. She took off. Holly ran right after her cutting the link with Foaly. Holly had met Velatrix once and that hadn't turned out well. Root might meet his match.
