Another day had ended. A day of magic and adventure. Nina gazed out of her bedroom window, watching the sun slowly set. It bobbed down, bringing her hopes and dreams with it. Had she always looked at the sunset this gloomily? Iie. It all started when her grandfather gave a serious speech about her candidacy as a princess.
"In two months.."
In two months, she would have to return to the Magic Kingdom. It would mean having to leave Ayu-chan and all the friends she had made in the human world. Life seemed unfair and each day was coming along too fast.
Tomorrow, she would wake up early and go to school again. But that kind of tomorrow wouldn't last. There would come a time when the next tomorrow would mean not having to wear her school uniform. There would come a tomorrow when she would not have to worry about studying English. A tomorrow when she would have to leave everything.
"Nina, dinner time!" Her mother's loving voice called out from downstairs.
The little witch smiled as she wondered what kind of dinner her human mother made this time. For now, she did not have to worry about that particular day.
"Besides, I have an English test tomorrow. I promised Ayu-chan that I'd pass the test. And Tsujiai even lent me the 'English Book for Dummies.' "
With a determined look on her face, Nina marched downstairs. However, a small tear escaped her eyes.
