In a farmhouse in Mistral, a woman is seen having trouble lifting a crate full of milk bottles. She sighs as she gives up and stretches her back. "Oscar? Oscar, can you lift this for me?"

"Coming aunty!" Oscar rushes towards her aunt as he slowly lifts the crate.

The scene switches to show a man watching everything from the second-story window with a mug in his hands. He is wearing an outfit consisting of a pair of plain blue jeans and black shoes; a button-up white shirt with a protruding collar kept partially buttoned, a plain gray hoodie, and a black leather jacket with a red interior, two horizontal white lines on each sleeve, and a red tribal design on the back (AN: It's Alex Mercer's outfit from Prototype).

It's been quite some time since I destroyed the Branwen Tribe and the subsequent destruction of Fuyuki, the town I would frequent most of the time. It was all over the news, the "Wild Hunt" they called it. One of the strongest, most notorious, most vile bandit tribes wiped out in a single night, without not a single civilian casualty too.

Civilian reports state that a man wearing a white mask appeared out of nowhere and ushered everyone to evacuate, just in time for the tribe to march in. They weren't able to discern further on his appearance beyond that and when the authorities asked, they simply said that he was too blurry and that it was too dark to get a proper good look.

As you can imagine, the entire kingdom went on a frenzy trying to find this mystery huntsman. Several upstarts have tried to take the credit, but they were all ridiculed and bastardized by the public when they realized that these people couldn't deliver.

Fucking fakers all of them.

Sad that I lost [Joker's Mask] and my [Revolver].

Thanks Raven, you dumb bitch.

Speaking of Raven, she has gone off grid, disappeared from the public eye. The public had already labeled her as dead despite the fact the body was ever found.

'I should have killed her. I really should have killed the dumb bitch.' I am not gonna lie when I say I hate Raven. Her whole deal of abandoning her family to join a gang of thieves and murderers never sat well with me, and then it got worse when it was revealed that she did all of this because she was afraid. Afraid of someone who she's never met. The other thing that I find more stupid was that she became a maiden and tries to take the Relic which would have not only get her on Salem's radar but be inevitably drawn to the war, a war that she's been actively trying to avoid.

It all seemed counterintuitive if you asked me.

Why didn't I kill her? She was weak and crippled, she was easy prey. All it would have taken was to slice her head off with my sword and that would have been the end of it. But when Vernal called her out as her mother, I sort of froze. A plethora of emotions hit me like a truck, ranging from admiration, happiness, love… and grief.

I… I just couldn't do it. I couldn't bring myself to kill a mother. If I did I would be no different than them.

So, I left them there… and came here for shelter until I could make my next move.

Thinking back on it now, that shouldn't have been enough. A moment of remorse wouldn't be enough to undo the well-earned payback for all the lives she's ruined. Azule's memories or not, that shouldn't have stopped me.

Could it be that Azule's soul still exists? Even after I defeated him? Even if that were the case, how did he survive his soul being eviscerated? It doesn't make sense…

[Are you okay? You seem a little… constipated for the lack of a better term]

I let out a sigh. "You know, ever since I reincarnated into this body, I've always had a feeling that I wasn't alone, that there was someone else here beside me." I put my hand on my chest. "I can feel their emotions, burning and raging with no outlet, no way to truly express them. It tells me things.

[What are they telling you now?]

"Hurt." I said bluntly. "He spent his entire life training to one day avenge Summer, his mother. He didn't have a lot of friends and was ridiculed by those around him because of his silver eyes. When he made it to Haven Academy, Leo guided him to become more social and open to the people around him. To not let others' opinions dictate who he is. He managed to make friends with his teammates and although it wasn't the most ideal relationship, he found them worthy of his respect." I then tug tightly on my shirt. "Which is why it hurt so much when it was revealed that Lionheart sold him and his team out, sabotaging their weapons and poisoning them so that they couldn't use their Semblances when the Grimm inevitably came and then died before he could do anything." I grit my teeth. "I can't help but feel disgusted at the fact that I selfishly stole someone else's life just to exist."

[It's not like you could help it, if anything it's my fault that the reincarnation process turned out the way it did. I did not expect the vessel's soul to be this determined to survive or account for his Semblance to work the way it did]

I let out a hollow chuckle. "You know, I think I understand what Roxas went through in Kingdom Hearts 2. He had friends, rivals, a home, he had the perfect life. Only to find that it was all a lie and that his existence means nothing in the long run; just a means to an end. If I was in that sort of position, I would most certainly break."

[I think you've stayed cooped up in here for too long. Maybe you should step out and perform a field test of your Semblance like you've always wanted]

Right, my "Semblance"... if you can really call it that. I know I didn't have [Survival] anymore since I can no longer see it on the menu and instead show me something else. My true Semblance.

But what kind of Semblance is this!?

[Nemesis]

The user can create, shape and manipulate Dark Matter, a hypothetical type of matter distinct from baryonic matter (ordinary matter such as protons and neutrons), neutrinos and dark energy. The name refers to the fact that it does not emit or interact with electromagnetic radiation, such as light, and is thus invisible to the entire electromagnetic spectrum. Although dark matter has not been directly observed, its existence and properties are inferred from its gravitational effects, and it is estimated to make up 84% of the universe's mass and 23% of its mass-energy. Allows access to the following abilities:

Dark Matter Transmutation: The user can transform anything into dark matter.

Dark Matter Affinity: Users become stronger, faster, more durable, etc. when they come in contact with dark matter, possibly unlocking abilities related to the affinity and enhancing the existing powers by 60%. Some users may be able draw sustenance from dark matter or even slow or stop aging.

Dark Matter Radiance: The user can release and surround themselves in/with dark matter for defensive and/or offensive purposes, possibly becoming almost untouchable and granting them various abilities/attacks. The aura may also give the user enhanced physical capabilities such as speed, strength and durability.

Dark Matter Constructs: Users can turn Dark Matter into tools, objects, weapons and other items, create semi-living constructs and/or create structures/buildings of varying permanence. Users who have mastered this ability can use it for almost any situation, creating anything they need.

Dark Matter Physiology: Allowing your body to be made up of or transform your body completely into dark matter. This transformed state can be anatomically identical to your normal form, aside from being made of dark matter in which case it contains all organs and is somewhat vulnerable to attacks.

Gravity Manipulation: This can range from basic things like increasing gravity to make things heavier or make things lighter to controlling attractive and repulsive forces achieving an effect akin to [Telekinesis], ignoring or defying the laws of gravity altogether, allowing one to walk on walls or ceilings or manipulate orbital fields on anything. You can also control your personal gravitational field, allowing you to move faster, be more agile, conserve stamina, fly, and even generate black holes.

Continuum Distortion: Allows you to distort the time-space continuum. This power allows you to teleport, travel through time, travel through alternate universes, etc.

New Title [Dark Emissary] acquired!

[Dark Emissary]

The Darkness welcomes you as one of its own. It will protect you from any who will do you harm.

All Dark-based attacks increase by 20%.

I close the window and press the "Traits/Perk" icon.

[Devil Gene]

Allows the user to transform with devil-like abilities, powers, skills, and traits. This transformation increases the user's fighting abilities to an astronomical degree, however, the transformation also causes their personality to change drastically, becoming more sadistic, aggressive, psychotic, dominating, and unforgiving.

All stats go up by x1000.

[Judge]

You hate sin and crime and will bring down judgment on those you deem guilty.

Your stats will multiply by 1.5x when fighting a being with a title associated with crime.

[Devil's Charm]

You are ridiculously handsome. Girls will immediately flock to you.

Your CHA increases by 7. Reputation/Affection is easier to gain from the opposite sex.

The first thing that came to mind when I saw this was "This is broken as fuck" which is true. I didn't exactly know how to approach this or how to even use it.

It was a good thing I got this from completing that quest.

[A Gamer's Grimoire] - Rank: EX

The "manual" for Gamer's skills and perks, allowing readers to learn how to properly use and control their abilities. The pages are normally blank, but will begin to write the best ways for the Gamer to use their skills to their maximum capacity.

I hold onto the large tome tight. If I didn't have this, I would have never figured out how to use both my Semblance and my new trait. The latter of which proved to be more troublesome than the former.

There were times I had to locked myself in my room just so I didn't give into the temptation of murdering Oscar and his aunt. It only got even worse when a dark voice would come out of nowhere and beckon me to do it, beckon me to rip Oscar apart, let his guts trail down the floor and spread them around the house before raping his aunt, saying that it was natural to prey on the weak.

Needless to say, I had to put a stop to that.

Luckily, that's where [Gamer's Grimoire] comes in.

I'm not gonna go into details but basically what you have to do is make the voice submit and merge with you. To do that, you first had to lower all mental defenses and let it in, then it was a matter of trapping it in an isolated part of your psyche and fighting it to the point of exhaustion. Afterwards, restrain it and force it to submit to your mind and soul, effectively fusing with you.

The result? Nothing really. I'm still myself, though now I find myself becoming a little more… interested when it comes to women.

Sexy and drop-dead gorgeous women. Like Raven.

Good thing [Gamer's Mind] curbs those thoughts otherwise I would get arrested.

Dark matter, on the other hand, has a lot of applications, from creation to destruction. Its potential application is literally limitless. I can think of anything; giant robots, mobile fortress, powerful swords, and it will create them with ease.

This puts EMIYA's UBW to shame. I can create any weapon (not just swords) and actually keep them around.

That's one hell of a Semblance to have.

"Still, what should I do now…? I still haven't cashed in those gacha tokens so I can start with that." I pull out the [Uncommon Gacha Tokens] and the [Legendary Gacha Tokens] from my inventory and activate them all at once filling the floor with a variety of items.

You have earned the following from the [Uncommon Gacha Token]:

[Blue Sister] - Rank: A

A katana whose blade is made of cursed ice that will never melt regardless of anything. If someone is even cut by this sword, the cursed frost will instantly spread throughout the victim's body, freezing them from the inside out.

1118 + STRx1.5 Physical/Ice Damage

[Atlas Armlet] - Rank: B

Raises max MP and Defense. Also significantly enhances magic and summon power. MAG +2, DEX +2.

[Elixir] - Rank: A

Fully recovers HP/MP

[Beowulf] - Rank: B

A set of black gauntlets and greaves with a somewhat animalistic look. The gauntlets vaguely resemble a wolf's head, with fangs and mane. The greaves look like clawed legs. They also have glowing veins that have white light flowing through them.

As they are "blessed with the sacred light", all of Beowulf emits light with each punch and kick. They are capable of concentrating light into a ball and throwing it or erupting it from the user's body. It can also cover the user in light.

1078 + STRx2 Physical/Light Damage

You have earned the following from the [Legendary Gacha Token]:

[Amulet of the Ancient Sage] - Rank: EX

User takes 95% less damage from enemy magic, and 50% less damage from enemy attacks fueled via mystic energy, such as Aura, Chi, Ki, Chakra, and so forth.

[Super Archive LVL. MAX]

A magic from the Archive archetype in Fairy Tail. Let's you access databases like computers, smartphones, Scrolls, servers as well as allow access to the internet but it may take a few days to fully connect to a specific network.

Cost 800 MP to use

[Ultimate Warrior]

You are an absolute unit. You take 30% less damage and deal 30% more damage. Occasionally, any damage done to you will be directed back to your opponent with extra powerful dealing twice the original damage.

"Nice." I smile at the amulet in my hand and put it on. The effect activates immediately upon putting on and I can already feel myself getting stronger.

The [Atlas Armlet] is an item straight from Kingdom Hearts. It's one of a series of items that you had to synthesize in the first game (AN: I don't know about the other ones because I haven't played them yet) and even though there are way better items, this is still a good way to start.

I take off the [Iron Bracer] and put on the [Atlas Armlet] and I can already feel the difference. To put it one way, the amount of energy I sensed in the bracer was small, very small. But when I put on the armlet, I can feel more energy coming from it, entering my body as it makes me stronger.

"Now all that's left is to put my new powers to the test. I should look for an isolated place, away from prying eyes." I exit the room and begin my tread down the stairs. I reach the first floor and make my way to the back door.

"Oh Azzy! Are you going somewhere?"

I turn to the voice to see Oscar's aunt. She didn't have much of an appearance in the show and you only ever hear her voice, but now I got to see what she looks like.

She's a woman who looks like she's in her late thirties. She has tanned skin, likely from working outside all day, short brown hair which she keeps tied to a ponytail and hazel eyes. Her face is oddly youthful, which betrays her true age. She looks like a schoolgirl more than anything.

She wears black boots, white tank top that barely covers her sides, showing off her C-cup breasts and her surprisingly toned arms. Over that she is wearing blue overalls which hug her figure and tight ass and a pair of dirty black boots.

Overall, she's an attractive woman, not as stacked as Raven, but attractive nonetheless.

I decided to use my original name and when I did, Ms. Pine had a hard time pronouncing it. So I told her to simply call me whatever she wanted and of all the names she could have picked she chose "Azzy."

… not that I mind though.

"Oh, Ms. Pine. I didn't hear you come in." I said. "I was just stepping out for some fresh air."

The woman nods. "Alright. Just make sure to come back by dinner. You know how Oscar gets when his big bro isn't around."

I chuckle a little. For the past month, I have been training Oscar on sword fighting. He was awful at first but as time went on he got a hang of it. I was surprised by how fast the farmer boy managed to pick up on things at a faster pace than compared to Jaune.

He even started calling me "Big Bro", it's cute.

"Will do. See ya tonight." I smile and proceed to leave.

Ms. Pine watches on as I leave. "That boy is a total mystery. But I can't think of anyone I'd rather have Oscar spend time with other than me."

I walk out of the house and take a deep breath. [Nemesis] requires the user to know exactly what they desire. If they want a weapon, they need to have an image of what weapon you desire as well as what it does and how much power it has. Sounds easy enough, doesn't it? Well, no. You need to have a clear focus on what you want, you cannot allow stray thoughts to distract you otherwise you will end up with something completely different.

"Fly." A light shockwave blows the grass back as my feet slowly leave the ground. Manipulating gravity on yourself is a matter of negating the planet's pull on you, effectively closing yourself off in a separate space. It's like how two magnets will always repel each other when they're up against opposing forces.

I look up and blast off into the sky. I'm flying so fast that I almost pass out from the lack of oxygen before stopping though at that point I was already far from where I intended and now I am somewhere in the mountains.

Shit. I forgot to regulate my speed so I was flying faster than I should have and now I don't know where I am.

But still… to be able to fly like this… is beyond amazing!

Flying is awesome! This is totally different from flying on a plane!

[I think you should look down]

My euphoria subsides as I look below, only to see what looks to be ruined buildings and such.

"Hm…" I fly down and land on what looks to be a village of sorts. The village itself was burned to the ground though some of the structures managed to survive.

I begin my tread through the abandoned village. The eerie silence combined with the dreary atmosphere makes this place extremely hostile.

"That's… a little too much just for this." I remark in a bit of shock.

It's like in those horror movies where suspense is heightened up to eleven and it makes the inevitable jumpscare even more frightening.

As I walk through the empty path, I get a closer look at the area. Old debris littered the area, signs of a battle can be seen everywhere.

*CRACK!*

I stop at the sudden sound and look down to see that I've stepped on a couple of broken arrows before slowly looking up as the arrows lead to a clothed pile of bones. But what draws my attention is the massive hole in the skull, as if something heavy got on the corpse and crushed the skull.

"Damn…" I mutter and continue my expedition.

I keep walking through the ruins until I arrive at what looks to be the village square, and what I found will likely creep some people out.

Bones.

Bones everywhere.

All of them were damaged almost beyond recognition. Lying on the floor and in between the ruins, like they were running away but couldn't evade whatever chased and killed them.

"It feels like I've entered a graveyard. Or maybe this is what Hell looks like." I walk towards some of the rubble and see what appears to be a flower symbol etched into the ruined rock.

"This must be the village's insignia. But why does it look so familiar…?" I mutter to myself.

A dark wind howls as I immediately jump up and look at the fog. "Something's coming…"

On cue, there was a weird noise coming from a distance. As I looked on, the noise got closer and recognized it as footsteps, the same kind that a horse makes when it walks. That's when a silhouette appears as the entity reveals itself to me.

It is a large horse-like Grimm with a humanoid-like torso fused to it. On its back is an exposed spine with sharp spikes coming out of it along with a variety of weapons from previous battles stuck in it.

"Well shit, I'm in fucking Kuroyuki." I said.

New Quest: The Pale Rider

Kuroyuri was once a beautiful village until the Nuckelavee and its pack appeared and killed everyone save for two kids. Kill it and end the stigma haunting a certain someone.

Objective 1: Kill the Nuckelavee

Objective 2: Kill all of the Grimm

Rewards: 34,901 EXP, 12,723 Credits, Items, Skills

The humanoid half lets out an ear-piercing scream despite its mouth being sealed shut. Suddenly, the entire village square begins to rumble and from the pile of debris and bones, Grimm begins to crawl out of their hiding places and converge on the Nuckelavee.

A dozen Beowulfs as far as I can count, but these are much bigger and have armor plating than the others.

The first one looks like a gorilla with black fur with armor pieces in certain places with a glowing red eye. The other looks like bears with black fur and a bone-white masks, but its paws are much larger, the claws longer, and have massive spikes protruding down its back.

The last ones are much taller than all the other Grimm combined, including the Nuckelavee, their bodies are primarily made up of rock along with wood and other parts of the surrounding buildings. Its arms and legs aren't attached to the main body but rather levitate loosely like their asteroids. There's a face at its center, likely its weak point since it stands out the most.

I sweat dropped. "That's… a lot of Grimm."

[It seems your existence here is having an effect on the timeline, where things that shouldn't have happened are happening]

That's great. I wonder what else has changed.

[You might wanna pay attention what's in front of you]

A Petra Gigas approaches and slams its arm down to crush me, only to look up and see me floating in the air.

"You missed." Black wisps begin to converge on my left hand before I launch myself at the Grimm and punch its face in, destroying it completely. Immediately, the rocks forming its body quickly break down returning back to the debris it was made from.

You have killed a Geist (Petra Gigas)! You have gained 1878 EXP! You have earned 788 Credits!

[Movement Mastery LVL. 21/100]

I look on as black smoke comes out of the rocks before looking at my left hand, marveling at it like a new toy. But my admiration is quickly interrupted by the growls of the Grimm in front of me.

[Looks like they're angry]

"Good. They'll be the perfect test dummies for my Semblance." I glance at the pile of rubble in front of me. "I wonder…" I touch the rocks leaving a black handprint that quickly spreads everywhere before they turn into a black cloud that begins to converge around me. The cloud then grows smaller as it is absorbed into my body.

"Hahaha… HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!" I cackle as I am surrounded in darkness. "This feels amazing! I am invincible!" I continue to laugh, clearly intoxicated by the rush of power.

The Grimm are slowly taken aback by the sheer NEGATIVITY that's coming off this human. While Grimm are normally attracted to the negativity humans emit, they cannot help but be frightened by the negative energy coming from the human. Its power and presence felt familiar, something that all Grimm share the moment they are born.

The God of Darkness.

The cloud of darkness dissipates as my outburst finally subsides. "Now… who wants to go first?"

The Nuckelavee stares at me with anticipation before glancing at the other Grimm and as if giving them a command, they all move forward.

"Oh? All at once then? Fine, I'll play your game." I slowly walk towards the Grimm.

A Beringel rushes in and pulls its massive fist to deliver a powerful punch, only to be shocked that I grabbed the hulking fist without much effort.

With a tug, I rip the arm right off the Grimm causing it to collapse and howl in pain before I jump on the Beringel's head and finish it off with a curb-stomp.

You have killed a Beringel! You have gained 1156 EXP! You have gained 723 Credits!

The remaining Grimm begins to close in on me.

"Oh no, I'm surrounded! Whatever shall I do!?" I exclaim in mock fear before I raise my hand. "Oh wait!" A dozen [Gaster Blasters] suddenly appeared behind me though there was something… different about these blasters.

For one, the skulls are now pitch black instead of stark white and there is a silver haze coming out of the eye sockets.

I make a finger gun and point at the Grimm as the skulls begin to charge up.

The Nuckelavee senses the imminent danger and tries to flee but it's too late.

"Bang." The blasters fire simultaneously, creating a massive beam that not only destroys all of the Grimm in front me, but everything else behind them. The beam continues through the mountain range, destroying a good chunk of the mountains.

When the light dies down, there's nothing but a smoking empty crater. No Grimm, no buildings, not bones remain. I look up to see that the mountains now have an arc-like shape as smoke rises from it.

You have killed Alpha Beowulf (x28)! You have gained 1080 EXP (x28)! You have gained 677 Credits (x28)!

"And so, justice is served." I said.

[We should probably head back. No doubt Mistral already sent someone to check out what's happened]

"True, but before we leave, there's something I gotta do." I scratch out my hand as blackness consumes what's left of Kuroyuki turning into [Dark Matter] for me to absorb.

[Why do you need to convert the village into Dark Matter?]

My body absorbs the [Dark Matter]. "It would be unethical to waste such good material. Besides, I have something in mind for this stuff." My body absorbs the last of the [Dark Matter]. "Alright, let's get out of here."

I rise upwards before blasting off to my destination.

Oscar Pine stands in front of the farmhouse as he looks at the path leading to the entrance as the sun slowly sets in the background.

"Where are you?" Oscar asks himself before something in the sky catches his eye. It looks too small and fast to be a Grimm.

… and it's descending towards me!?

"Whoa!" Oscar jumps as the entity quickly lands in front of the farmhouse. When he looks up, Oscar's face lights up like a Christmas tree. "Bro!"

"Yo." I wave at him.

"Where were you!? You've been gone for hours!" Oscar exclaims.

I arch an eyebrow. "Really? Man, time sure flies."

"Anyways, how were you flying like that? Did you finally unlock your Semblance?" Oscar asked.

I chuckle. "Yeah." I grab his shoulder and we walk towards the house. "C'mon, I'm hungry. Your mom likely cooked something delicious."

"For my millionth time, she's my AUNT, not my MOM!" Oscar pouts.

"Yeah, keep telling yourself that." I said sarcastically.

We went inside where Ms. Pine greets us with a smile and feast on the table. We eat the food and have conversations on the most random of topics which usually ends with us laughing. She asked me about how Oscar's training has been progressing and I told her that it's been going great but he still has a long way to go.

It was nice. This atmosphere, the laughter, the jokes. It felt like we were an actual family.

"Hey, are you alright?" My musing is interrupted by Oscar's question.

I turn to the farm boy. "Of course. What brought this up?"

"I don't know. You just seem… distant than usual." Oscar said. "Also, you haven't touched your food yet."

I look down and, sure enough, my plate is still full. "Oh." I turn back to Oscar. "Sorry. Must have forgotten about it."

"Now, how does someone forget their dinner? The dinner your humble host worked so hard to make it so good." Ms Pine said, giving a sad puppy look.

I visibly flinch, that look hurts me emotionally more than physically. "Okay, Okay, I'll eat. Just stop making that face."

"Okay~" Ms. Pine exclaims with a beaming smile.

God, she can be such a child…

I eat the food and, while it is delicious, I can't find myself eating more of it. Ever since I got [Nemesis], I found that I had more energy than normal. I barely needed to eat, use the bathroom, or even go to sleep. Usually, an apple would be all I need for the day. I can stay up for up to 96 hours straight before feeling any drowsiness.

"Are you okay, Azzy?" Ms. Pine asked.

"Yeah." I replied.

The older woman's brows furrowed. "Don't lie to me. You've been acting weird for some time now and I'm starting to get worried." She reaches out and grabs my hand. "If there's something bothering you, you shouldn't hesitate to tell us. We can help."

I turn to Oscar who's giving me the same look. 'God, even he's giving me the same look.'

I give them a reassuring smile. "I'm fine, Ms. Pine. I'm just not hungry."

"Oh…" She sounds relieved but also… disappointed?

"Hey, it has nothing to do with the food." I pat her back. "I'm just one of those types who gets full from eating very little."

Ms. Pine lets out a small smile.

I stand and grab the used plates. "Well, I'm gonna wash these plates. Thanks again for another great meal, Ms. Pine." I take the plates to the other room and start washing them.

"... I don't buy it, Oscar. Something's clearly eating at him." Ms. Pine whispers to her nephew.

Oscar gives looks at her aunt. "Are you sure? It could be that he just wasn't hungry."

"Maybe, but I can't help but feel that he isn't telling us something. I mean, after staying with us for this long, you'd think he could at least tell us what's eating at him."

"Sometimes, there are things people don't wanna share. Even to their loved ones." Oscar told her.

Ms. Pine arches an eyebrow. "Since when did you give out advice?"

Oscar blushes. "Big Bro has been helping me with that. He has been helping me get around some of my 'quirks' as he calls them. He even managed to help me stop stuttering my words."

"Oh yeah. I did notice that you've been stammering less lately." Ms. Pine comments. "So how's the training? Is he treating you well?"

"Yeah, but between you and me, he is awful at explaining things. He's more of a hands-on type of teacher instead of the normal lecture types." Oscar states.

"Well, actions do speak louder than words after all. Maybe we should find you a combat tutor." She knows Azzy means well, but he is an amateur when it comes to teaching and he knows it.

"NO!" Oscar suddenly yells, surprising his aunt. "I-I-I mean…" He blushes in embarrassment. "Isn't money tight right now? I don't think it's a good idea to hire a tutor."

"Oh? Is my little nephew afraid that his Big Bro will stop paying attention if you get a tutor?" His aunt teased.

"Knock it off, aunty!" Oscar exclaims.

The Pine duo laugh, not realizing that their guest has been eavesdropping this whole time.

The door to the guest room opens and I walk inside before closing the door behind me. I check my stats.

[That woman sure is perceptive. Even with Gamer's Mind running she can still see that something's on your mind]

"Yeah well, it's none of her business anyway." I sit on the bed. "How long have we been living here again?"

[It's only been about four weeks since we first arrive at the farm]

"Really? It feels like I've been here for years." I comment.

It was true. Living on the farm had a sort of effect on people. The quietness, the serene and captivating atmosphere, and the work that made you break a sweat lets you forget about the passage of time. I remember Oscar once telling me that her aunt had to mandate work hours because people would haggle her for extra money for all the "accidental" hours they worked.

"You know, there's something I want to check on." I activate [Super Archive] causing a holographic screen and a keyboard to appear in front of me. "Now, let's see what Remnant's latest gossip is." It's hard to get news when you live so far out of any major populated areas, especially since one of the closest towns around was destroyed almost a month ago. The only information you can find is the occasional gossip from coworkers, and even then it's barely reliable.

"Hm… let's see what Vale's up to." I type Vale into the console and quickly access the CCT network. See, [Super Archive] allows me to hack into any sort of network I want and look up information without any consequences coming back to haunt me.

It's basically Google on steroids.

After a bit of browsing, I see a new article that quickly catches my attention. "Huntsmen-in-training stop terrorist attack." I read out loud and continue reading the rest. "A sect of the White Fang used an abandoned supply train in Mount Glenn and rigged it with explosives. It is speculated that their plan was to use the train to lure in the Grimm and then detonate the bombs right beneath the city giving the Grimm an opening behind the kingdom's defenses." A mugshot of Roman Torchwick is shown. "Atlas military apprehended several White Fang members alongside the ringleader Roman Torchwick, who is wanted for several accounts of robbery, assassination, and now, terrorism. He is held prisoner at the Atlas flagship, under General James Ironwood's direct supervision."

[So, the Breach has already happened. I guess that saved us a lot of time]

I look up the article's date of publication. "It says here this article was uploaded three weeks ago. Which means this occurred after my fight with Raven."

[But in that case, how did she manage to rescue Yang? If I recall correctly, you did cut off her right arm]

"Honestly, I can think of a few ways she could've pulled it off." I began. "The first, and the most obvious, is that she had assistance from Vernal. The second, she managed to 'persuade' someone to graph her a prosthetic arm. The third, and this is a bit of a stretch, she used her Maiden power to create an arm made of ice that she can manipulate at will with her magic. This would not only give her the versatility she once had, but also enhance it, since she can morph that arm into any weapon she wants."

[You're right, that is a stretch yet why do I sense confidence in that idea]

"Because I highly doubt Raven would ask for help. She's more of the Lone Wolf type if you ask me." I said. "Haggling for a prosthetic seems unlikely since they are mainly distributed by Atlas and giving her status as a notorious bandit, there's no way in hell she's stepping foot in any of their facilities. Which leaves us the magical solution: create an artificial arm using her ice magic. But hey, that's just a theory."

[A Game Theory-]

"Stop." I ordered the A.I.

[Well, what are you gonna do now? You don't need to sleep so what do you plan to do for the rest of the night?]

"I'll probably go into a dungeon and just grind. Maybe see just how far I can push my Semblance. Those Grimm in Kuroyuri left a bad taste in my mouth." I opened the menu.

"Ugh." I cringe in obvious disgust.

You are in Hell. No explanations needed.

"Well, shit. I'm in Hell. Fucking great." I let my frustrations show. "Question is, which version of Hell am I at? And what does it mean by 'sword'. What sword?"

As I walk through the meaty corridors, I see a light at the end of the path and rush towards it. When I reach the end, I am greeted by the sight of an orange sky, a barren wasteland and series of mountains spread out everywhere.

I narrow my eyes at the mountains and realize that they aren't mountains at all, but massive bones belonging to an even massive corpse. I turn my neck around as the camera zooms out, revealing that I was standing on the empty eye socket of a giant's head, its brain splattered everywhere as smaller demons eat at it like vultures.

"Yep. This is DOOM alright." I activate my Semblance and rise from my spot before taking to the skies. No sooner as I fly through the gory landscape I run into my first opponents.

They are small floating spherical monsters with a single eye and a large toothy mouth and have brown leathery hides. Their jaws have human-like mouths surrounded on either side by several well-articulated mandibles, each capable of individual movement. They have large horns adoring their heads, with several smaller sets of horns stumbling its brow and scalp, almost resembling scant hairs. They all have one glowing orange eye and their arms are long and their nails are very sharp.

As the elementals continue to spit out more skulls, I grab my chest as I am suddenly overtaken by a burning sensation. "It hurts… I… can't breathe…"

Suddenly, I transform into my demon form which surprises the Pain Elementals.

I let out a scream so powerful that it shatters the skulls of the [Lost Souls] so easily.

You have defeated Lost Soul(x7)! You have gained 10 EXP(x7)! You have earned 3 Credits(x7)!

I turn to one Pain Elementals before charging at them at incredible speeds and latch myself onto one of the demons. I proceed to grab its eye and pull it out, causing the demon to howl in pain. But the howl is cut short as I plunge my arm into the eye socket and dig through its skull pulling out pieces of its brain until it fully dies.

I stare at the blood, seemingly in a trance. It was beautiful, tantalizing…

"Hehehehe…"

… and GLORIOUS!

"HAHAHAHA!" The demon cackles with child-like joy. A cacophony of madness and rage that would make all humans tremble in fright before promptly shitting themselves the moment they heard it.

I quickly set my sights on the other demon and threw the corpse at it. The Pain Elemental swats the corpse aside but its skull is flattened and its eye pops out of its socket. The camera pulls up revealing it to be the demon to be responsible, having punched its skull with so much force that it caused it to cave in destroying its brain completely from the inside.

The last Pain Elemental charges forward as it raises its sharp talons only for its massive eye to widen as the demon blasts it with fire from its mouth, incinerating it in an instant.

It then jumps off to the next demon, undeterred by the dozen [Lost Souls] that explode in its face as it reaches out and grabs its new victim.

"Do you feel fear, demon…?" I ask with a smile so wide it'll split its face in two.

The Pain Elemental whose only reply is a loud shriek as it grabs onto its enemy, its talons sinking into its back.

The demon doesn't seem to register the grip. "No? Well let's fix that." He presses on the demon's hide, plunging his obsidian-like claws into its skin before peeling half of it off like a banana. The demon screams as I slowly begin to tear apart its limbs following its eye, jaw, and horns, leaving only a mutilated but barely alive Pain Elemental before I clasp my hands together and crush it.

You have defeated a Pain Elemental! You have gained 1650 EXP! You have earned 1009 Credits!

"HAHAHAHAHAHA… hahahaha… he…" My laughing dies down as I transform back to normal and begin to descend in an uncontrollable free fall and crash into the hellish wastelands below.

In the crater, I let out a groan as I slowly raise my head. "What… was… that?" The rage, the bloodlust, and the arousal from hearing those demons screaming. It was all there, I felt it.

I… I enjoyed it.

[This dimension is much like the Hell from Doomguy's universe. Prolonged exposure to this world will cause humans to turn into demons, go insane, or simply be more susceptible to the Dark Lord's influence. In your case, it caused you to lose control of your demonic form allowing you to be more susceptible to your primal urges]

I stand up. "Is that what that burning feeling was? Ugh…" I slowly make my way upwards.

[Gamer's Mind managed to curb the demonic urges and forced you back to normal. However, the likelihood of this happening again is very high]

I slowly climb out of the crater and stand up. "Any ideas on how to stop it?"

[Wearing a protective suit should be able to protect you from the harsh ecosystem, however, it also needs to have the ability to ward off Hell's corrupting influence otherwise you'll relapse again]

"Right and I know EXACTLY what suit to make." I close my eyes and begin to imagine what I want as darkness begins to envelop my body as I can feel the suit quickly taking form.

The darkness disappears and I open my eyes as I look at myself in my suit. The suit is mostly dark green, silver, black and bronze in color, with slightly lighter legs and helmet. It covers the whole body including my arms. It's more of an endoskeleton rather than a suit of armor given how snug it is and how fit it is to my body. On my left wrist is an arm-mounted blade and mounted on my left shoulder is a small cannon. (AN: It's the Praetor Suit from DOOM Eternal)

I look at my hands as I open and close them, letting my senses register the cool and comfortable feeling of the suit. "It worked." I smile as I look through the visor. "I actually created the [Praetor Suit]." A holographic HUD suddenly appears showing my health, mana, aura, and stamina. "And it even has a functioning HUD, too!"

[It seems that I have access to all of your suit's systems. Awesome]

"So, we're really doing this? I play the role of Doomguy and you play VEGA." I said.

[I am detecting an unknown energy signature a few meters from our current location. I will mark them on your HUD]

I chuckle before putting my game face on and make the tread towards my destination. Making the journey through this dungeon was, for the lack of a better word, hellish. It was bleak and nightmarish in nature, the number of corpses I saw in various positions was staggering. Ranging from burned to a crisp, spit in half, decapitated, torn to pieces, had your organs removed, and so on.

Surprisingly, I haven't run to a single demon, but I'm not gonna complain about it.

Finally, I reached the place my HUD was directing me to: a canyon that goes for hundreds of miles. However what catches my eye is the massive demon corpse slouch over one of the mountains, half of its body was blown off letting its guts and blood fall to the ground creating a red river.

On top of it is a massive mecha with a design similar to the Praetor Suit except for the head, which is more or less conformal to the shoulders rather than having a distinct neck, and has a pair of large horns reminiscent of a Viking helm but is missing an arm. They have energy cannons mounted on the right side of its shoulder and the left one along with the arm, lies limply on the ground.

On both hands is a lance glowing white with intrigue symbols running it through the demon's skull and keeping it pinned to the mountain.

[The signal is originating from that Titan. I suggest you fly to shorten the distance]

The view changes to show the back of the suit as I walk off the edge, seemingly to my death. Not a moment later, and we see the Gamer lifting off in the sky like an angel.

I land on the pole and walk towards the spot where the energy blade has the Titan pinned. In the spot is a small crevice, big enough for a person to go through. With no alternative, I make my way towards the crevice and, with some strength, manage to get inside the demon's skull.

I look up to see the massive yet decaying brain of the demon and as I narrow my eyes I can see something moving at the top of the Frontal Lobe.

They look at me.

*SHIK!*

They let out a loud noise and fall down. They are grotesque demons with a split lower jaw and lanky, malnourished frame. Its hands possess large metal blades, which appear to be grafted onto the demon's body and have a hunched over frame and well-built legs as well as a pair of wings.

The demons let out a roar and charge at the green-armored human, believing they had the upper hand.

Ha. Fools.

I pull the trigger and the barrels spin, unleashing an onslaught of bullets at all the demons reducing them all into literal mince meat in every direction.

Suddenly, fire begins to surround me and from it, demons slowly begin to take form.

"Don't tell me," I look around frantically until I spot a figure standing on an opening in the wall. It is still extremely tall, has a brown-like hide and is very muscular. Numerous spines can be seen all around its body, and tough pieces of bone cover its frame, particularly on its shoulders and chest area.

"An Arch-vile!" I scream and immediately take off towards the high-class demon lord leaving the [Chaingun] on the ground. Arch-viles are by far the most annoying demons you encounter in the game, not only because it can spawn a large puddle of flames underneath you, but summon demons almost indefinitely and enhance them making the fight last annoyingly longer than it should.

Overall, the moment you see these bastards, you better kill them immediately otherwise the fight will drag out and you'll be stuck in a limbo of sorts until you die.

"Oh no, you don't!" I reach to grab the demon's neck for my hand to be smacked away as a wall of flames is erected. I grit my teeth and clench my fists in anger before I punch the wall of fire that, to the demon's surprise, breaks the fiery barrier and grabs the demon by the face, throwing it down to the acid river below.

The Arch-vile slowly stands up as its summons disappear. It lets out a roar of rage as it glares at the descending human in front of it.

I pick up the [Chaingun] and aim at the demon before pulling the trigger, sending a barrage of high-speed bullets on it.

The high-class demon raises its arms up to its face to protect itself from the oncoming onslaught. It then throws a fireball at me which I quickly dodge before teleporting to the back of the stomach and starts its summoning ritual.

[You will not be able to deal any real damage if it continues to teleport. Find a way to immobilize it]

"Right." I dismiss the [Chaingun] and run towards the Arch-vile, jumping from platform to platform as new demons begin to take shape. I raise my hand and use [Ice Control] to freeze its feet causing it to falter from the sudden cold and the ritual is interrupted.

The demon tries to break the ice on its feet before looking up to see two large shards of ice piercing through its chest as the ice suddenly spreads everywhere, freezing the Arch-vile completely.

"AAAAH!" I jump and punch the demon's head, shattering it into many pieces.

[The demonic presence in this area has been eradicated]

With no other obstacles to impede my way, I resume my search. After some time, I eventually reach the other end of the stomach where I find a mountain of demon corpses that have been melted together by the acid but that wasn't what caught my attention but rather what was at the top.

Stabbed deep in a zombie's chest is the handle belonging to a weapon. However, when I try to climb the mountain of flesh, the acid that has coated the flesh has made it slippery and almost impossible to climb. I ponder for a few seconds until I finally get an idea. I place my hand on the flesh and it begins to glow orange before it spreads everywhere. After another second the glowing stops, revealing that the mass of flesh has become charred before it collapses into itself becoming a pile of ash.

I walk up to the pile of ash and pick up what was inside the flesh, finally getting a good look. It is an ornate but fairly unremarkable sword. The guard takes a "W" shape and it has a spiral handle that leads to four skulls on the pommel with a spike at the top.

[Force Edge] - Rank: C

The sword of the Legendary Dark Knight Sparda. It was forged using the lifeforce and demonic power of Sparda himself. In order to seal the gateway to the demonworld, Sparda used his own blood, along with the blood of a human priestess, and a mythical amulet. He poured his demonic energy into his beloved sword to close the door between realms, the Temen-ni-gru, though this also robbed him of the lion's share of his abilities, and sealed the path with Force Edge acting as a keystone.

2000 + STR Physical Damage

"So this is the 'sword'. Not bad." I remark before realizing something. "Wait a second," I opened my inventory and looked through the list of items until I found it. "There!" I click on it and the [Perfect Amulet] appears in my hand.

As soon as it appeared, the [Perfect Amulet] begins to raddle and flies to [Force Edge] and it is instantly engulfed in demonic power. When it subsides, the sword has drastically changed. While it keeps its grip and crossguard, the spike on the skull is split in half with the frontward, more elaborate half forming a small blade that curves around the bottom of the blade. The blade itself is replaced with an organic-looking spinal column attached to a long curved blade via an organic looking substance with bones covering the bottom of the guard. It has a large red jewel to the side and a green one just below it, and the grip is darker than before.

[Force Edge] has evolved into the [Devil Sword Sparda]!

[Devil Sword Sparda] - Rank: A+

The released state of Force Edge; it's true form. It can change into two other forms: a spear and a scythe. It holds not only its own power but Sparda's own as when Dante used it in the battle against Mundus, he was able to take Sparda's demonic form as a Devil Trigger. It is recognized as a source of god-like power and, if it were absorbed, it can give the user power beyond the gods themselves.

8000 + STRx3 Physical/Dark Damage (x21 in demon form)

I can't help but grin. The Sparda. I finally have the Sparda! The one of the most powerful swords in the Devil May Cry series!

"This is gonna be fun." I poke the organic part of the blade and watch it squirm as if it's alive.

[I don't mean to interrupt your little celebration but I am detecting a strange energy signature a few miles from our current location. I've identified it as Sentinel in nature]

"Sentinel? Some Sentinel tech survived?" That was interesting. If there's intact Sentinel technology, then there's likely some weapons that I can salvage.

"Mark it on my HUD." I raise [Sparda] and swing it down.

The view changes to the outside of Titan as its lower abdomen explodes, unleashing a waterfall of blood and stomach acid as I fly off with the [Sparda] magnetically attached to my back.

[You are about to reach your destination. I have also detected that the Sentinel signature seems to be corrupted. I'd advise caution]

I descend at what appears to be my destination. It is a large temple sculpted from the mountain itself. Red demonic runes glow ominously despite the fact that it looks abandoned. I walk inside the temple only to be greeted by a harrowing sight; there are corpses littered everywhere. Some of them are from demons while others are from humans in white armor. In the middle of the floor is a large magical circle drawn using the blood of the corpses.

"I cannot be… how are you here?" A deep demonic voice echoes throughout the temple.

I look as something crashes down with a loud thud. It is a humanoid wearing Sentinel armor. Their armor is an earthy green, with a plate on the left of their chests, with a red glow on the left side. Their upper under-armor seems to have been torn away, as some shreds can be seen from underneath their ammo belts. The lack of under armor reveals their chests, with deathly-pale skin and visible veins. They have a larger pauldron on their left shoulder, and heavier armor down their left arms, suggesting they are primarily right-handed.

It has pale-white skin and their visible facial features resemble a humanoid skull. They have a set of upwards-curving horns on the top of their heads, and two downwards-curving horns on the sides, with a row of spikes going down the center of their heads. Their right hands have long, sharp, claw-like nails.

"No… you are not him. You are an imposter!" It snarls.

"My eyes were opened by the Khan Makyr. She and the priests will lead us to paradise." The Marauder defends.

"By using the souls of uncountable species as fuel. You and your kind are fools to believe her nonsense." I said.

"If you want it, then you'll have to take it." I take [Sparda] off my back and take a battle stance.

"Hmph." It unholsters its shotgun and fires it, but I raise my sword to block it.

I looked at the weapon and had to blink a few times, because I couldn't believe what I'm seeing. In the Marauder's left hand is a sawed-off, break-action, double-barreled shotgun. However unlike the standard Marauder weapons, this one has a pair of golden claws at the bottom.

It was none other than the [Super Shotgun], the Doom Slayer's signature weapon.

I grab [Sparda] and glare at him as [Bloodlust] begins to take hold. "Your worst nightmare." I charge at the Marauder at high speeds.

The resurrected Sentinel raises his shotgun but its arm is instantly cut off before he is punched with so much force that it sends him crashing towards the wall.

"Grahagh!" The Marauder roars as it struggles to get out of the wall, pushing past the pain of its severed left arm and broken jaw. It finally pulls itself out of the wall and grabs its battle ax and launches several energy waves towards the faker before dashing forwards in an attempt to get a clean blow on the impostor's neck.

I dash back, letting the ax crash into the floor. The Marauder has no time to raise its weapon as it dodges the incoming slash from the impostor's sword but it wasn't fast enough as its left horn is cleaved off.

"Ugh!" The Marauder grabs the stump where its horn was. "No, NO! I refuse to be defeated by a mere IMPOSTOR!" It summons another spectral hound to distract him only for multiple black spikes to rise from the ground and pierce through the spirit familiar, defeating it instantly. The Marauder can only look in shock and fear before being blasted from behind by two [Gaster Blasters].

When the attack ends, the Marauder is seen slouch over, its armor having been completely blown off and its body scorched beyond recognition. Yet, despite it all, the resurrected Sentinel still persists.

"You Sentinels are persistent, I'll give you that." I remark as I pick up the [Super Shotgun] and check if it's loaded. "You were right about one thing, I needed more than just brute strength to beat you. I needed [Rage]."

"Who… are you?" The Marauder struggles to ask.

"You know, since you're gonna die I might as well give you the courtesy." I aim the shotgun at the Marauder's head. "My name is Asmodeus. Tell your brothers that when you see them in the abyss."

*BANG!*

The Marauder's head is blown clean off, leaving little chunks of meat and blood all over the floor.

A golden arrow with mystical properties. In actuality, however, the arrowhead was made from a meteorite that crashed on Earth 50,000 years ago carrying with it an alien virus. The virus will kill anyone who comes into contact with it, however, should the person have sufficient spiritual strength, they will manifest a Stand.

[Hell Walker]

When fighting against [Demon] type enemies their stats will decrease by 20%.

I turn around and pick up the demon's weapon and glance at the shotgun.

[Sentinel Battle Axe] - Rank: B

A Marauder's signature weapon. It is powered by Argent Energy much like the Doom Slayer's own Sentinel Crucible and just like the Crucible, it has the unique ability to seal away demons when the blades are snapped off.

3,000 + STRx1.2 Physical Damage

[Super Shotgun] - Rank: A

The Super Shotgun deals heaps of damage up close, gibbing those weak fodder demons in one hit. Its widespread shots shreds multiple fodder demons with a single shot. Its massive stopping power can cause most heavy demons to stumble. However, the Super Shotgun is useless at long ranges, and it uses up lots of ammo, since it requires two shells per shot, meaning that it has only 12 uses at maximum, and 8 uses at minimum.

The meat hook allows you to close the distance between yourself and the enemy as well as traversing the environment. It has a special ability called [Flaming Hook] which ignites enemies the moment the hook latches itself to the target.

6,950 + STRx3 Physical Damage (x10 against Demons)

I send both weapons to my inventory before grabbing the [Sparda] and doing the same thing. "Let's get out of here." I exit the dungeon and return to my room.

I let out a tired sigh as I dismissed the [Praetor Suit] turning back into [Dark Matter]. "That was the most taxing dungeon I've ever been in." I look out the window as I see it's already morning outside. "And it looks like I've spent all night in there." I check my stats.

"I haven't been here for five months and I'm already level sixty." I mutter as I walk up to the door and leave the guest room.

The scene switches to the table where Oscar and his aunt placed the breakfast on the table.

"I wonder if Big Bro will like the breakfast we made." Oscar said.

"Of course he will! My cooking easily beats a five-star restaurant you know!" Ms. Pine exclaims.

Just then, Oscar hears creaking and turns to see his brother figure walking down the stairs. "Good morning, Big Bro!"

"Oscar. Ms. Pine. Good Morning." I greeted with a smile.

"About time you woke up." Ms. Pine comments and gestures towards what's on the table. "We made pancakes with strawberries today. Hope you like them."

"Oh strawberries. Very nice. I think I'll help myself to some." I walk towards them and take a seat on the table with the Pine duo following short after.

We enjoyed breakfast. The pancakes are delicious. It might be due to how much energy I used while in the [Demon Dungeon] because I seem to be hungrier than ever.

As I watch the aunt and nephew talk, their voices begin to dim as I begin to think about what to do now. [Nemesis] has the ability to allow interdimensional travel, meaning I could travel to other universes.

But should I? If I leave then the canon events of RWBY will still happen even though now Raven sports a handicap. I don't want Oscar to become Ozma's reincarnation. In fact, I don't want him to get involved in any of the bullshit. He is a kid, he deserves a normal life.

[Nemesis not only has the power to control space, but also time. If you decide to leave this universe, time will slow down, but will go back to normal when you decide to return]

'I see.' I thought as my attention returned to reality. "I'm leaving the farm."

The family stops dead on their tracks and wipe their heads in my direction.

"Excuse me?" Ms. Pine said.

"I'm leaving today. It's finally time for me to finally get my life on track." I told her.

Oscar slams his hands on the table and promptly stands up. "W-W-W-What!?" He then suddenly loses balance and falls.

"You already heard the first time, Oscar. And I don't like to repeat myself." I said.

Oscar grabs the table and pulls himself up to look at me. "Why do you want to leave!?"

"I can't stay here forever, Oscar. I'll have to leave at some point." I told him.

Oscar just looks at me with a look of visible sadness… and betrayal. That is until I put my hand on his shoulder.

"Hey, hey. I won't be gone forever. Someday, I'll come back." I give him a reassured smile. "I promise."

Oscar reluctantly nods. "O-Okay…"

Later

Oscar and her aunt stand outside in front of the entrance of the farm while I stand on the other side.

"Now, are you sure you got everything?" Ms. Pine asked.

I gestured to the heavy-looking bag. "Pretty sure. You filled it with so much stuff that it's about to pop."

"Hey, it's called being cautious. This area of the kingdom doesn't get a lot of Huntsmen, so you need to make sure you can take care of yourself when you travel." Ms. Pine said.

"Fine. Thanks, aunty." I said. "Oscar?"

"Yes, bro?" Oscar asked.

"I got something for you." I open my inventory and pull out the [Engine Sword] and [Iron Bracer]. "Consider it an early birthday present."

Oscar's eyes sparkle as he happily accepts the gifts. "Thanks, Big Bro! I'll treasure them always!"

+51 Reputation with Oscar Pine (100/100)

"I'm not done yet. Still one other gift." I place my hand on Oscar's shoulder and activate [Beseecher] for the first time.

Time seemingly slows down as a screen appears showing me a list of skills and perks that I want to transfer. I choose [Friendly Smile] and [Radar] for the Perks and [Blade Mastery], [Movement Mastery] and [Heal] for the skills.

"Alright, these should do." I close the screen and time goes back to normal as Oscar stumbles back.

"W-Whoa." Oscar mutters as he feels power coursing through him. "W-what was that?"

"Insurance. You'll thank me later." I told him. "Welp, I better get going. See you around." I turn to the road and begin to walk while the Pine duo waves me goodbye.

"Hey! When you get to town, make sure to give us a call!" Ms. Pine yelled out.

"I will!" I yelled back and gave them a little wave.

"Big Bro! I'll continue training and get stronger! And one day, I will kick your ass!" Oscar exclaims.

"Oscar!" Ms. Pine gasps.

"I look forward to it!" I yelled.

After some time, I turned back to see the Pine farm off in the distance, away from prying eyes. "Alright, I think this is far enough." I throw the oversized bag into my inventory.

[According to the Gamer's Grimoire, the process is similar to teleportation; that you need to simply create a portal with a destination in mind. Otherwise, you'll just warp around space randomly]

I take a deep breath. "Well… fingers cross." I raise my hand at the empty space and trace down my index finger, which splits reality and creates a distortion in space big enough for a person to fit through. "Let's do this." I walk into the distortion until I completely disappear inside and it closes.

And so, the journey begins.

Author Notes

RWBY Arc is done! At last! The MC is now on his way to another franchise, the question is what franchise? Don't worry, he'll return to Remnant at some point. After all, he still has some unfinished business there.

This chapter took a long time to make; almost 50 pages long! A new record! I had a ton of ideas for these chapters but I had to scrap some of them because they either wouldn't make sense or it would make the chapter longer than it already is.

Oh yeah, and we finally get to see what the OC's Semblance is: Dark Matter. I did state early on that some things will remain the same and this is one of them. He can create whatever he wants and can make them stay permanently or not if he chooses, that's why the Praetor Suit turned back into dark matter after he returned.

He is now more broken than ever.

Writing Doom was a little difficult, mostly because it felt like I wasn't being faithful to the source material. Like there aren't enough gory kills and so on. But I doubt I'll add that in the future though, I'm very tired.

Anyways, I made a poll on what franchise you want me to tackle first and I based the order on which had the most votes.

As always, leave a comment. The good, the bad, it doesn't matter.

Peace~
