Introduction
Hello everyone! This is a just a short little introduction into what exactly this story is going to be and basically lay out all the prerequisites to get you started and on a good understanding of what this story will be.
First things first - this is an SYOC, so if you would like to submit a character, then by all means feel free to do so! Just fill out the form below and send it to me in a PM and you're all set! Secondly, as you likely could tell, this fanfic is set in the DBD universe. As such, there will be two character classes for you to choose from when creating your character: Killer and Survivor. Since I'm not too certain on how many submissions there will be and how balanced each class will be, I am planning on having the canonical DBD Killers be a part of this story. The canonical Survivors likely will be incorporated as well, either as side characters, cameos, Easter eggs, what have you.
Also, a note on licensed properties - I am planning on considering those non-canonical in this universe, so as to make this a more grounded and isolated world as opposed to a mashup of all our favorite horror properties. I just feel like this is the best decision as to avoid convoluted "multiversal" problems that might arise from having such things. Although, you never know what the future might hold...
I will have two separate forms listed below: one for Survivors, and one for Killers. Pick the one you'd prefer and create your character, submit it, and you're all set! Also, if you would like to submit one character of each class, then that is fine as well. If the character roster is too packed, we can adjust things as needed, but I'd like to have all the characters I can get! If you have any questions feel free to reach out, and if there is any information missing from my form, just include it as well in any way you see fit! Survivor
Name: (your character's full name, as well as any nicknames or their preferred name to go by)
Age: (really any age is permissible, it'd just likely be preferably over 16)
Gender: (your character's gender)
Physical Appearance: (skin, hair, eye color, as well as their height and weight approximations and any overall descriptions of their physical attributes and appearance)
Background: (your character's backstory; where did they come from, where are they now, how did they get there, etc.; essentially a mini-biography, you can go as in-depth as you'd like!)
Family: (any family that your family has, living or deceased)
Relationships: (any romantic relationships your character is in or has been in, if it is influential to their overall character; if they do not have one, what sort of person are they looking for?)
Friends: (any close friends that your character might have)
Skills and Abilities: (what skills does your character have? These can range from physical attributes related to athleticism or things they've picked up along the way, i.e. lockpicking, crafting, healing, etc.)
Personality: (describe your character's overall personality; are they friendly or cold, do they warm up quickly to strangers, are they flirty, a leader or follower, a pessimist or optimist, etc.)
Greatest Fear: (what is your character's greatest fear? i.e., water, clowns, the dark, fire, heights, etc.)
Likes/Dislikes: (things your character has a strong feeling to one way or another)
Hobbies: (any hobbies your character might have for downtime)
Story Arcs: (are there any story arcs you would like to see your character have throughout the story?)
Killer: (if you would like to connect your character in some way to one of the canonical DBD killers, then let me know which one and how you'd like them to be connected here!)
Killer
Name: (your character's name, both their birth name and their killer name, like The Spirit, The Wraith, The Doctor, etc.)
Age: (your character's age)
Gender: (your character's gender)
Physical Appearance: (much like the survivor, describe your character's appearance, both their pre-Killer form and their present form, however ghastly it might or might not be!)
Background: (detail your Killer's backstory, specifically what has led them to this point in their life and how they came into contact with the Entity and became a Killer)
Family, Relationships, Friends: (you can break these sections up however you wish and discuss how impactful you want each one's presence to be on the Killer throughout the story; feel free to be as detailed with each as need be!)
Skills and Abilities: (akin to the Survivors, except Killers obviously can be given some supernatural abilities by the Entity, so detail your Killer's abilities)
Personality: (Killers can have personalities too! It's up to you how humane you want them to be, and whether or not they are simply misunderstood, being forced to do their evil deeds, or are doing it more happily than others)
Likes/Dislikes: (anything your Killer has a special taste or distaste for)
Hobbies: (Killers can have their hobbies too, I suppose ... although I might be scared to find out what they are!)
Story Arcs: (if you'd like to see your Killer develop their own story arc, be sure to describe them here!)
Realm: (if your Killer were to have their own realm or "map" like in the game, what would its theme or layout be?)
