[summery of what's going on: There is this girl named Elliot. her birth caused the death of her mother and she developed some heart condition. The dad didn't want his daughter to be bed written for the rest of her life so he takes her to this scientist. He expirements on her which fixes her heart problems but she now has electric powers. The dad is in debt and the scientist needs high amounts of cash a month so the dad picks up an assassin job. He's about to pay off his debt but he slips up and gets caught and gets prison for life. Elliot goes into foster care but eventually
Tony finds her the same time he finds Peter in homecoming. The events happen she helps take down vulture and she gets offered a stop in the avengers. she declines but tony also offers a spot in his tower to live. She says yes. (in one shots and this au were she meets Bruce she becomes his intern)]
AN: this is my first fan fic and English isn't my first language so please excuse common errors. Things to note when Elliot is static (static is her hero name) she uses they/them pronouns when she's Elliot she goes by she/her. also she's a lesbian so if your not into that idk what to say it gets mentioned a bit. I think that's it um... one to the show.
Chapter 1
Elliot gets out of bed at 6:30a.m. to start her routine. She groggily walks over to the bathroom with her change of clothes and towel. She looks in the mirror, gratefully her bruises from last night's patrol have nearly fully healed. They could barely be noticed unless you were actively looking for them.
Yeah yesterday some bigot was trying to take some poor ladies car. The leader ended up hopping in and instructed the goons to distract them. Spiderman stayed to deal with the goons while static took off after the car. It didn't take long for them to catch up but the car took a sharp left and they flew off the roof. Rookie mistake, they landed face first into a mailbox. At that moment they felt their face sting and burn but they had to keep chasing. 7 minutes later the car was stopped (with minimal damage) and the bigot was tied up with a note for the police.
Elliot and Peter continued for about an hour or so more before they parted ways and headed home. Peter to his aunt May's apartment and Elliot to the Avengers tower.
Static got home and greeted Friday at the door. On their way to the elevator they waved at some of the interns, janitors, and security that passed by. Getting to the elevator they right away took off the mask and wiped some of the sweat that formed on the top of their lip.
She didn't have to worry about people coming into the elevator while she was only in a half-static costume. The only people who would be around at this hour would be interns, janitors, or security.
The interns are probably hard at work since it wasn't a :00 or :30 time.
She knew the janitor's cycles and they probably won't be changing floors for another couple minutes.
And security mostly secured the doors and patrolled all around the floor. It would be unlikely for them to be in the elevator since it's not shift swap time yet.
Finally she made it to the top floors where the avengers, Tony and Pepper live. She walked towards her room and plops into bed. Peter always asks her to text him when she gets home, so she does that. While changing into more comfortable clothes she heard her phone vibrate and checked, it was her theater teacher leaving an announcement on the club's google classroom. But she was too tired to open it, she just texted the group chat good night. And of course Peter is the only one who is up and replies a good night back.
