Takao – Tyson

Hit the floor
"Ow come on Kai. Give me a break. We've been training for four hours now. Can't we stop now?" A thirteen-year-old Japanese boy pleaded as he averted his gaze upon a blue haired older boy. The only answer he got from the elder boy however was a snort and his back as he launched his blade.
"Although he's a whiny pest Kai, I will have to agree with Takao on this one." A tall purple haired boy stated as obvious disgust dripped of his face as he watched the Japanese boy.
"Well at least SOMEONE agrees with me!" Takao stated before he clenched his fist and glared directly at the purple haired boy. "I am not a whiny pest Robert!"
"Well you could have fooled me!" A fiery red haired boy stated smugly with a Scottish accent. His purple eyes stared down on Takao arrogantly.
"Oh come on. Takao isn't that bad!" A cheerful blond smiled as he put an arm around his friend. His baby blue eyes looked sort of apologetic
"Oh yeah listen to him. Maxy knows best!" Takao cheered as he laid his arm around Max. Then the words of his friend seem to dawn in and he pulled his arm back. "What do you mean isn't that bad, Maxy?"
Max laughed nervously as he glanced at his surroundings occupied by his friends who were sweatdropping. His pleading eyes though were not noticed as none reacted upon his need. "Ow come on Takao. You know I didn't mean it." He stated rather nervously.
Takao frowned at his blond cheerful friend but then finally smiled. "I believe ya Maxy." He put his arm around Max again. "I quit for the day Kai! I'm tired and my feet hurt!" He sat himself down onto a bench which was near him. His eyes wandered over the park they were blading in.
"I'm not surprised about that one!" The slate haired boy responded as he turned around. His crimson eyes scanned over Takao's figure before he smirked.
"What's that suppose to mean huh?" Takao jumped up, completely forgetting his soar feet, and balding his fists. Kai wouldn't get away with insulting him although he didn't quit get the insult, if it even was one.
Kai shook his head, his blue bangs shaking from one side to another. A desperate sigh past his lips. What to do with Takao? The boy was so dense he probably didn't even get his own jokes or insults. "I suppose your feet don't hurt anymore." He stated rather smugly as he stole a quick glance at the Japanese boys feet.
Ray put a hand on Takao's shoulder for some sort of comfort before the younger boy could respond. "Let it go Takao." Then he turned around, flashing his fangs to the slate haired boy. "I think we should go though Kai. Remember, Mr D asked us to be early for dinner and we still have some other things to attend to before that."
"Yeah and we wouldn't want to be late for dinner now would we." A dreamy glow moved itself into Takao's eyes as he stared of into space. Everyone sweatdropped at this. They all knew what Takao was thinking about. It was all he ever thought about.
A tall blond appeared from behind Robert and Johnny. "Yeah and besides we would've been already back at the hotel if we didn't had to wait for Kai this morning."
"Yeah Enrique has a point!" Takao cheered. Then his cheeks blushed red as his stomach began to speak for him. He scratched the back of his head. "I guess I'm hungry!" They laughed.
The Phoenix arched up a brow before he zoned out on them. His thoughts went back to this morning. A pained sigh past his lips. What was he to do? Let them die or let them live?
Actually the question at hand wasn't to hard to answer. Only his fate afterwards was weighing heavily on his stomach. It wasn't really appealing although it once had been. And more things came to look at this, like when he wasn't of any use anymore. What then? And when did this came into his hands anyways?
A hand waved in front of his eyes belonging to Takao. He blinked in response to that. For one second his crimson eyes were an open book to anyone. For one second you could see all the pain and despair that was written on his heart. Then his eyes hardened and the moment had past.
"Hello earth to Kai!" Takao screamed in his ear, still waving his hand enthusiastic in front of Kai's eyes. Kai had been acting kinda strange since he had came back from some sort of meeting. Nobody knew what kind of a meeting it was since Kai, being Kai of course, didn't want to talk about it. He had said it was nothing. The Phoenix leader however had zoned out in practically every match he had contemplated in. Still he refused to tell them anything. How typicall of him. -.-'
Kai grabbed Takao's wrist making him stop waving the hand. He seemed to be holding it rather to tightly as a pained expression flashed over Takao's face. "I heard you the first time!" He snarled, letting go of Takao's wrist with a lot of power.
Takao, who didn't really expected it, fell onto his but in a pool of mud. He blinked at his team captain as he rubbed his painful spots brought to him by that person. Max came to his rescue and helped him up. "What the hell was that for Kai?" He asked, staring directly into the crimson eyes.
The only response he got however was a raised eyebrow. Kai crossed his arms in front of his chest, his crimson eyes turning colder and harder with the second. He was not in the mood for this, especially not for Takao and his stupidity.
"Leave me alone!" Kai snarled rather harshly and colder then usual after a short silence. His crimson eyes wondered over the park to stop at the exit. "We should get going." He began to walk towards the exit, taking big steps at a time as his white scarf drawled behind him.
His teammates and the Majestics shrugged and then followed suit. The slate haired boy stopped at a crossover. He tapped with his feet impatiently as he waited until the rest catched up with him which was about five minutes later, much to his displeasure.
Takao watched him, curiously, as he tried to catch his breath. Everyone had walked rather fast to catch up with Kai. He wasn't used to that, not at all! "Man you act strangely!" He breathed out a statement.
Since when did Kai sourpuss Hiwatari tap his foot impatiently as he waited for them? That wasn't very Kai like. But then Kai was a closed book and – uhg why did he even try. He let his head hang as he received his hundred- death glare from Kai or so. But whatever happened he could always count on that good ol' death glare...oh joy! "Oh my poor feet!"
Enrique flashed a sort of truce smile as he fished his mobile out of his pocket. "I'll call my chauffeur. He'll pick us up with the limo."
Takao smiled, jumping up immediately from his thoughts. "That's gre-"
"We walk!" Kai stated resolute. He looked at the Majestics for a second. "You can do whatever you like but we walk!"
Takao's face faltered as he looked with eyes of disbelieve at his slate haired team captain. Kai couldn't possibly be serious, could he? "You're kidding right?" He looked at Kai but he didn't get any response from him. Then he turned to Ray and Max. "He isn't serious is he?"
Max put a hand on Takao's shoulders. "I'm afraid so Takao."
"He can't do that to me, can he? He's going to kill me!" Takao whined rather pathetically.
"I can do anything to you Takao. I AM your team captain remember. And it won't kill you. You came walking here so you can walk back as well!" Kai's cold crimson eyes seem to be burning right into Takao's skin.
"Woah..that's almost more then you've said all day!" Takao stated shocked.
Kai rolled his eyes and turned his back on Takao. His scarf slapped the Japanese boy softly in the face. He crossed over the street and to his utter amusement Takao came running after him. Ray and Max followed suit.
They passed many people and many streets until they finally reached the street their hotel was in. Again Kai had to wait for them at a crossover. This time however he just leaned against a lamppost. His arms crossed in front of his chest and his eyes closed. But a rather uneasy glow was over his expression that non of them could really place.
"About time." Kai stated not even bothering to open his eyes. He could hear from the footsteps and the panting that it was them. Especially Takao was death give away. Max was oke and Ray was hardly noticeable for a normal human being. But Kai wasn't a normal human being. Ray was good as he was a 'tiger' but he could never become a soldier like he was. Not a soldier like he was when he was haunting his prey. Nor when Yuriy was. Even Ian could do a better job at that. And THAT was saying a lot!
"Well we're finally there." Takao sighed relieved as he stared down at his painful feet. Then he jerked his head up as his eyes began to glow. What he was thinking was again spoken out by his stomach.
He looked if a car was coming, but there weren't, at least not close enough. Takao ran over the street. But half way a Mercedes came racing from around the corner. The Japanese boy stopped in the middle of the street as he watched in horror that the black car was heading straight for him. He wanted to move but it was as if his feet were glued to the ground.
The car came nearer and nearer. The engine sounded as if it was laughing at him, mocking him. Takao closed his eyes and...
Ray came running and made a cat jump. As he sailed past Takao in the air he put his arm around his friends body and pulled him aside just as the black Mercedes rushed past. Both boys panted heavily as their stormy gazes met one another as they fell to the ground.
"Wow thanks man." Takao panted. "You saved my life."
"It's nothing." Ray smiled rather shyly now as he stood up. He stuck out his hand for Takao who grabbed it. With Ray's help Tyson got back upon his feet.
Max ran towards them together with a lot of bystanders. They fired questions like 'How are you?' and stuff at them. Max could hardly get through the crowd to get to his friend.
"You oke Takao?" Max sighed relieved when he saw Takao nod. Then he turned to Ray. "Man you saved his life!" A slight blush crept upon the Tiger's cheeks.
"Hey where is Kai?" Takao suddenly asked as he let his eyes wander over the people that were surrounded around them.
Max shrugged. "A few moments ago he was still there." He pointed to where Kai had been standing earlier, waiting for them.
"There!" Ray's voice boomed suddenly. His catlike eyes were aimed at a large white building. From a far they could see a lone figure sitting against the building.
The three friends raced towards the figure. As they came closer they indeed saw it was their team captain. And the state he was in was one they had never seen before of him.
The blue haired Russian sat against the white wall of the building hugging his knees. His forehead he had laid on his knees, his eyes casted downwards onto himself. He seemed to be mumbling something to himself. What they couldn't understand though. It seemed to be in Russian.
"Kai buddy you oke?" Takao asked as he kneeled down next to his blue haired friend.
The Russian lifted up his head meeting the gaze of the Japanese boy. Tears began to spill over his cheeks. "Die.. live." He whispered as he reached out to touch Takao's cheek. But halve way he seem to change his mind and pulled back. He began to rock himself muttering Russian words to himself again.
Max, Ray and Takao exchanged worried looks. They had never seen their leader like this. And it wasn't really pleasant to see either.
"What now?" Max asked before he kneeled down next to Kai as well. He began to stroke the elder boys hair soothingly.
"We need to get him to the hotel and then call a doctor." Ray sighed. But that was easier said then done. He could already see that his team captain wasn't about to leave his spot voluntarily or so it seemed
Suddenly Kai grabbed Max's sleeve. "What to do Maxy? What am I to do." He whispered. "It is just answering a simple question yes or no. But it brings so much along with it. Your faith and mine! Live or die." He let his fingers slide through his one blue hair. "What to do?" Then he began to rock himself again.
They exchanged worried looks with one another before they glanced back at their team captain. They didn't know what to do. At that time it felt as if their heart was being ripped out, like they were loosing him. They couldn't do anything for him and it pained them.
Max sat himself down next to Kai against the white wall. He put an arm around Kai and laid his head against Kai's. "It's going to be oke Kai."
Kai lifted his head. A cute yet sad pout crossed his features. "You promise?"
"Yes I promise."
