Matthias Mendoza and the Sorcerer's Stone

Young magic user Matthias Mendoza has magic powers that he doesn't really worry about. He meets another magical boy named Harry Potter and they set off on a journey with other friends as they begin their first year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. This is also a first person story, to be clear.

3. Chapter 3 The Letter From No One

"Sometime later, an owl shows up and drops a letter at my family's front door. I grab it and notice it's addressed to me. I open it and it reads,

"Dear Matthias A. Mendoza,
We are pleased to inform you that you have been accepted into Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Please find a list of all necessary books and equipment. Term begins on September 1. We await your owl by no later than July 31.

Minerva Mcgonagall

Deputy Headmistress"

I would've talked to Harry about this, but the month was not up yet.
