Dear Kevin Conroy

If you're reading this in spirit, you know I'll always continue to fight crime in Gotham City and contributing to the Justice League. Since my existence in a comic book world in May 1st, 1939, my stock kept growing in comics, cartoons, movies and pop culture but what cemented my iconic and legendary status is the legendary version of my cartoon Batman the Animated Series with you as the voice of me.

It was a magnificent combination and we went through an incredible journey together from here to more movies, cartoons, movies, video games and pop culture. On the Justice League and Justice League Unlimited cartoons, we made a lot of legendary moments together, including the times when we had to humble the villains and our fellow heroes to remind them that we all have to maintain the balance between good and evil and how we maintain the use of our powers, skills and abilities while at the same time let our fellow heroes humble us because we get so overconfident and get ahead of ourselves with the choices we make in life. But still the best though, right?

During my private eulogy of Superman, you momentarily brought back the human side of me and made feel vulnerable when I realized that I have nothing but respect for the Man of Steel, who told me that justice doesn't always come the dark side before I resumed back to Batman mode and fight crime. After the end of the Justice League Unlimited, we continue to make magic everywhere we go and make everyone's childhood extraordinary special but now that you've made your transition, all I want to say is….thank you.

Thanks for the memories that I will always cherish for giving me a voice that will remain in generations to come. You maybe in a better place right now but your voice will always remain in the mind, hearts and imaginations of your legions of fans worldwide. I will never forget the iconic and eternal words that you gave me: "I am vengeance, I am the night, I AM BATMAN!", it took those words to make me what I am today. We love you and we'll miss you. Until we again…please give our love to all of our friends and loved ones who are with you right now. Farewell for now.

From Bruce Wayne a.k.a. Batman

P.S.: Again, I thank you for giving me a voice.

In Loving Memory of Kevin Conroy
