It was the first day of Year 10 and it was home period. Inuyasha and his
friends were in the same homeroom.
"Hey Inuyasha," Miroku said "who is that weird looking guy over there?" "I don't know Miroku," Inuyasha replied, "but I know he's a new student."
The new guy had long black hair and was wearing a tattered T-Shirt and jeans.
"There have been rumours that the new guy got kicked out of his last school because he murdered some girl." Miroku said.
"Don't be mean," Kagome butted in, "It's just a rumor. I'm going to go over and say hi to him."
"Hi, whats your name? I'm Kagome," Kagome said politely. "I'm Naraku," Naraku said, "Buzz off."
Kagome went back to her group. "Geez, talk about cold!" she said, "No wonder he's a loner."
"I hear that that the school dance is tomorrow night," Sango said, "Who are you going with Kagome?"
"I don't know," Kagome replied, "What about you. Aren't you going with your boyfriend Miroku?"
"He is NOT my boyfriend!" Sango yelled, then glared over her shoulder at Miroku who grinned sexily back at her.
"At least you have someone that fancies you," Kagome said.
As she said that, she heard Inuyasha let out a small whine.
School Dance
Kagome arrived in her favorite black mini dress and heels. Music by Utada Hikaru was blasting on the stereo and everyone was having fun dancing. Kagome scanned the room for her friends but they hadn't arrived yet. She noticed that Naraku was standing at the snack table. She approached, hoping he'd be a bit nicer to her. 'Hi Naraku!' Kagome said. 'Hi!', Naraku replied, 'I'm sorry I was so mean before. I was in a bad mood. Wanna dance?'
'Sure!' Kagome replied.
For a loner, Naraku danced pretty well. No matter how nice Naraku was to her, she had this gut feeling that something wasn't right.
