You Deserve To Be Treated Like Gold:

Michael Taylor was so scared, cause his secret crush, & best friend, Joey Harris, got hurt while he worked out. He was so anxious, when he got the call, & even more, as he waits for him to come home. As soon as the handsome man entered the loft, The Business Executive lets out a sigh of relief, & went over to him, as soon as he could. He had Joey on the couch, & he began to fuss over him, so he could get him better, as fast as he could.
"Are you sure that you are okay, Joe ?", Michael asked with a look of concern on his face. "I am fine, Mikey, I always do this to myself, But, I never learn", Joey said with a warm smile, as he lets out a content sigh. Then, He said, "I don't deserve all of this fussing, I don't deserve to be treated like gold". Old memories surfaced, & it made him feel sad, Sadder then the last time. Michael responded with this, as a way to crush the insecurities.
"You deserve all of the fussing, You deserve to be treated like gold by someone that loves you, Someone like me… I love you, Joey, I have loved, & been in love with you for a long time, If you give me a chance, I would love to make you happy", The Shorter Man said hopefully. The Rugged Artist was shocked by this, & licked his suddenly dry lips. "I love you too, Michael, It's been the same amount of time for me too". Michael smiled, & just kissed his lover sweetly on the lips. They stood like that forever.
"I am gonna take good care of you forever, Starting with dinner", Michael simply replied, as he headed for the kitchen. "Sounds wonderful, Babe", Joey said grinning, as he relaxed further into the couch. He was very excited now that he has a future, & a life to share with someone, He is crazy about Michael, & he knew that his new lover is crazy about him too, Any other small stuff, He could sweat about it later. For now, He has a new life do focus on, & he is looking forward to it.
