Disclaimer: I do not have any claim to the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles compared to Kevin Eastman and Peter Laird as well as those they entrusted to adapt it from comic books to cartoon shows and anything in-between.

Draconus's Reward
[DR]
For a great portion of his life, Draconus had dedicated himself to his master, Doomquest. Once a lone warrior who wandered the galaxies, seeking honorable fights, on the day his future master bested him in combat, Draconus pledged himself to Doomquest's centuries-long task of obtaining the legendary Vortex Crystal and using its space-warping power to transform the universe itself into a better place. As far as Draconus was concerned, his master had a noble goal, and those who opposed him, such as the so called "Supreme Warlord Dregg," were evil and had to be eliminated remorselessly.
And finally, after so long, Draconus and Doomquest had discovered the Vortex Crystal from Dregg on a primitive planet referred to as Earth. While Dregg's own followers as well as the natives of Earth distracted both master and servant for a time, it did not take long for Doomquest to immobilize Dregg's spacecraft and for Draconus to retrieve the Crystal from the interfering Earthlings.
Returning to their own star cruiser with the Crystal in tow, Draconus proceeded to follow his master's instructions and connected the Crystal to the power reserves. Upon fulfilling his task, he then informed Doomquest via a communication device, "The Crystal is in place."
"Energize it at once," Doomquest commanded in response.
Upon doing so, Draconus covered his eyes from the piercing green light that the Crystal and the machinery both emitted. He did not have to worry about using the Crystal's power, as Doomquest had said that he already had that covered, which left Draconus the opportunity to see what they had wrought in the midst of walking.
Hearing the sounds of battle, however, prompted Draconus to run faster to Doomquest's location outside of the cruiser. And upon meeting up with his master, Draconus was horrified to see hordes of monsters emerging from vortexes being formed all over the Earthly city.
"Master," he called out to Doomquest once he saw the taller, more armored being unintimidated at the sight, "I must protect you!"
Much to Draconus's confusion, though, his words only made his master laugh.
"Protect me," Doomquest responded questionably, "From the creatures of my native Dark Realm? Why would I require that?"
Brought to a halt by his superior's choice of words, Draconus finally said, "What do you mean by Dark Realm, sir?"
Showing a rather fiendish smirk to his subordinate, Doomquest answered, "The Dark Realm is my home dimension, Draconus. Long before I learned of the Vortex Crystal, I used the native energies and technology of the Dark Realm to arrive in this world to prepare not just a mere invasion, but a forced merger of our dimensions per my direction."
Absorbing Doomquest's words in shock, Draconus soon realized that by acquiring the Vortex Crystal for his master, he had literally doomed his own universe to suffer terrible consequences. Remembering the many enemies who opposed them and were then struck down left the purple canine-like creature despondent in more ways than one.
"Now that you know," Doomquest began to say with a terrifying sneer in Draconus's direction, "are you planning on betraying me?"
Instinctively taking a step back, Draconus replied, "I swore my allegiance to you and you alone, my Lord." Looking away from Doomquest, he then added in defeat, "Even the truth won't make me go back on my word."
Chuckling to himself in a crush fashion, Doomquest exhaled before exclaiming, "Not good enough," while grabbing hold of Draconus's neck.
The lifelong warrior tried to remove Doomquest's large right hand from his struggling throat short of killing the conqueror himself, but Draconus's efforts were in vain.
Carried by the throat to a certain vortex in particular nearby, Draconus could only try to beg for his life, regardless of how tight Doomquest choked him, yet the latter was only amused by his minion's desperate attempts.
"Don't feel too betrayed, Draconus," Doomquest said in mocking consolation. "I did promise that you would be honored after all these of years of service, I just never said what kind of honor it would be!"
And with the swift movement of his right arm, Doomquest threw Draconus into the vortex to the Dark Realm, where he would certainly suffer a fate crueler than death.
"Doomquest," was all the warrior could scream before he was gone forever.

I kinda regret not making this more descriptive in details, but I decided to just let it be like this to save time among other things. It is a one-shot, after all, and I have more stuff to post and update.
For those who never watched the 1987 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles for whatever reason, the above events are meant to take place in the last episode of Season Nine, Doomquest, which was also the ninth to last episode of the animated series itself. Of course, in that episode, Draconus's final fate was not depicted compared to his boss, which is what compelled me to write this.
