I See You Standing There
Before you, all was dark, My heart needed to be finished. Then I met you, my love, And all unrest was diminished.
We fought together, Our hearts as one, For we knew this time, The final battle had begun.
My heat shattered, When I saw you die, You could not be with me. In my sorrow, I cried.
I went to one, My destiny to be done, To keep the world safe, Take the life of my sun.
Never again, can I dream, In coldness all the while, Over the years, I've forgotten, What it feels like to smile.
I am now the Black Monster, Killing those who seek sin, Taking away all the pain, Of what we could have been.
And now I see you standing there, The one that I held, so nearest, I don't care if you're a monster, I'll always call you dearest.
