Chapter One: A Given Gift

"Come my child. This will teach you to run away on me." Mother Miranda says as she is draging Alexis by her arms with a rope.

"Let me go!" Alexis shouts as she tris fighting with no avail.

"Afraid I can't do that. If you shall not become a vessel willingly for my child then you shall become of use for one of my children." Mother Miranda says as Alexis looks at her fearfully.

"Oh no." Alexis says in alarm as she sees a castle and realizes who it belongs to.

"It seems you recognize where we're going. Good. Then you know there is no escape from this place." Mother Miranda says as she smiles as she and Alexis walk past the gates.

"Please. I'll do whatever you want. Just don't take me there. I'll have no chance of survival at all." Alexis says in alarm.

"You should have thought of that before you tried to escape." Mother Miranda says as she drags Alexis up to the door and knocks on it.

"Mother Miranda? What are you doing here?" A very tall woman asks as she opens the door.

"Bringing you a little gift Alcina. This one will be of no use to be. Her will is too strong. I thought you would find better use of her." Mother Miranda says as she gestures to Alexis.

"Hmm. She appears weak but I'm certain she'll be of good use." Alcina says as she looks at Alexis much to her alarm.

"She's more than she appears. Take not of that. She may not make for a simple wine but she would perhaps be useful in other ways." Mother Miranda says as she smiles at Alexis.

"More than she appears? What do you mean?" Alcina asks as she looks at Alexis curiously.

"You'll find out. Take her. I must be on my way." Mother Miranda says as Alcina takes the rope Alexis is tied to.

"No! Let me go!" Alexis shouts in alarm before she gets hit in the head and falls to the ground.

*Timeskip*

"Aww. She's awake. What's the matter humanthing? I hit you too hard?" A voice asks tauntingly as Alexis wakes up seeing she is tied to a chair with three other women in the room.

"Good. Mother will be here soon." The brunette woman says as she smiles at Alexis.

"Then we can decide what to do with you little one." A blonde woman says as she smiles at Alexis causing her to give a look of fear.

"Let me go!" Alexis shouts in fear as she struggles to get loose.

"Oh feisty I see. Good. We'll see how long that lasts." The blonde woman says.

"Who knows sister dear. That spirit of hers may make her a lot of fun. Especially if she is as strong willed as Mother Miranda says." The red headed woman says.

"I see you are already playing with our new maiden daughters." A voice says revealing to be Alcina as she walks into the room.

"She's a humanthing. Why did Mother Miranda bring her to us? What could we possibly do that she can not?" The blonde woman asks.

"She wishes for us to teach this one some manners. She is not an ordinary human according to Mother Miranda. She is a shapeshifter and can bend elements." Alcina says as she goes toward Alexis.

"Get away from me!" Alexis shouts as she tries to get loose from the chair with no luck.

"With no respect." Alcina says as she steps away from Alexis.

"Hmm. So you are no mere human? What is your name?" The brunette woman asks a she looks at Alexis.

"Alexis." Alexis says fearfully.

"Interesting." The brunette woman says as she puts her hand under Alexis's chin making her look at her.

"Get away from me!" Alexis says in fear as she pulls her head away from the woman.

"She will learn over time. She just has to understand there is no escape now." Alcina says as Alexis glares at her.

"Because no one has ever been more than a human. I won't give up. Especially not to the likes of you!" Alexis shouts angrily as Alcina glares at her.

"You shouldn't talk to mother that way. She isn't nearly as kind as us." The brunette says as she gives an angry look.

"My daughter Cassandra is right. But a little fight in this one will not hurt. We will see how long she can last." Alcina says as she smiles.

"What do you want from me? Just let me go." Alexis says in alarm.

"I'm afraid we can not do that. You see you are in our domain. In Castle Dimitrescu. Any who enter our castle never leave. As for who we all are? Well I am Lady Alcina Dimitrescu. Judging from your reaction you are well aware of that. These are my daughters Bela, Cassandra and Daniela." Alcina says.

"What are we gonna do with her mother? She is no normal human. But I'm certain her blood would be much sweeter due to that." Cassandra says as she goes toward Alexis.

"No! Please!" Alexis shouts fearfully.

"Now girls. You are not looking at this properly. She would make a far more beneficial assest than as food. She will become your maid." Alcina says.

"Just who says I'm gonna be your maid?" Alexis asks angrily.

"I do and if you wish to remain alive you will do as told. This is not a choice. Release her girls and show her where she will sleep and work. I trust you can do that." Alcina says as Bela and her sisters smile.

"Yes mother." Cassandra says.

"Of course mother." Daniela says as Daniela goes to behind Alexis with a sickle.

"Easy now. Don't want to cut such beautiful skin and spill such tasty smelling blood do you?" Daniela says as Alexis struggles slightly as Daniela cuts her loose before Alexis shifts to wolf form and bolts.

"She's getting away!" Bela shouts.

"Get that girl! Do not let her escape!" Alcina shouts as Alexis continues to run.
