"I can't believe they're all gone." Daniela says sadly as she and Alexis are sitting in the dining room.
"I'm so sorry Daniela." Alexis says as she tried to comfort Daniela.
"I'm all alone now thanks to that stupid manthing." Daniela says angrily.
"Daniela you're not alone. You have me." Alexis says.
"But you won't live eternally like I will and you would have to provide food for me to eat." Daniela says as she looks at Alexis.
"I'm perfectly capable of hunting Daniela. I don't like hunting but I can do it if it means helping those I care about." Alexis says
"Are you certain? I don't like asking you to do that since I am unable to go out in the cold to do it myself. The castle has also been completely ransacked by that stupid manthing." Daniela says.
"I know but it's okay. We'll figure it out... Brr. Why's it so cold all of a sudden?" Alexis asks as she feels cold.
"The window." Daniela says as she and Alexis see a window broken before Daniela goes over to it.
"Daniela get away from the window. It's blowing cold air directly at you." Alexis says worriedly.
"Alexis it's okay. Look. I'm not turning white." Daniela says as she shows she is perfectly fine.
"You're not? But how?" Alexis asks confusedly.
"I guess when you used your fire capabilites with the Cadou to save me I absorbed some of the power. So the cold is no longer a concern to me." Daniela says happily before Alexis gives a sad look.
"I guess that means you're gonna wanna go after Ethan now then. You don't need me." Alexis says disappointedly.
"But I do need you. I want you." Daniela says as she looks at Alexis.
"As food?" Alexis asks.
"No. I want you because I love you. I don't want to lose the last person I care about. I will always resent that manthing but I won't go after him at the risk of losing you." Daniela says.
"I love you too Daniela. But I agree. What about the castle? And the lycans will surely invade the place once they see you guys no longer rule the castle." Alexis says.
"Let's go find another home. I know of another castle a little ways away from here. Mother told me about it. We can go there." Daniela says.
"Are you sure?" Alexis asks unsurely.
"As long as I have you with me I am happy. What do you say?" Daniela asks as she smiles.
"I'd love that." Alexis says as she smiles.
*Timeskip*
"Well this is it. The castle I told you about." Daniela says as she and Alexis arrive at an abandoned castle.
"It looks like it will need some work but I think we can do it." Alexis says as she looks around.
"I don't mind long as I have you to help me." Daniela says as she smiles at Alexis.
"But first let's see about getting something to eat. Been a long way." Alexis says as she smiles before Daniela kisses her and pulls away.
"Anything for my human." Daniela says proudly.
