Drem Yol Lok fellow Dovahkiins, GLG here, and a happy 11th anniversary to the Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. The 11th year of the 21st century, on the 11th day of the 11th month, and now 11 years after that. What better time to share the tale of my Dragonborn. I've read alot and I mean ALOT of other people's works, and I can safely promise I have things in mind that have not been done before. Yes I know that should be default, but I'm emphasizing that for the sake of expressing the intensity. I also wrote down ALOT of plans, details, etc about what to do here, and it took me years to do so. Hopefully it will now bare as much fruit as an orchard blessed by Kyne herself.

I also looked at more mods than I can possibly keep track of, including magic mods, thu'um mods, city mods, aesthetic mods, equipment mods, werewolf/vampire mods, enemy mods, standing stone mods, even racial ability mods. So for those of you who want to tell me "that's not in the game" well, I just explained why I deviated from vanilla Skyrim. I also don't agree with the way some modded spells work, and I'm pretty sure some of the things I come up with are not included in some mod packs. As welcome as the originality is, I don't want anyone to think I don't know what the mods are actually about.

I don't want to sound cynical, but I really don't want to deal with people who don't think things like this through all the way. For those of you not in that camp, more power to you all.

Anyway, just to get some things out of the way, I will only cover the Dawnguard, and later Dragonborn DLCs, not the main one, at least not directly. Why? Because there are TOO DAMN MANY QUESTS, and I don't want to spend an eternity wrecking my brain trying to remember each and every detail, let alone write them.

After Dragonborn is done...I'm not sure to be honest; there may be some "additional DLC" I could write about, but for now, one miracle at a time.

Now, with all of that out of the way, grab your iron helmets, branded iron shields, and steel swords, slap on that studded armor, and tell the Sovngarde choir to get roaring. The Darkblade Chronicles are coming your way.

On a stormy night near Castle Volkihar, a Breton man watched as the rain came down on the window. He wore a mage's robe as black as his hair, with various patterns lining the edges. His hair had braids ringing his forehead, his face was shaven clean, and his eyes were as blue as sapphires. The storm outside relentlessly hit the stone walls and the glass barrier separating the candlelit room from the outside world. Despite the invigorating atmosphere, the man watching the display of Kyne's power had other matters in mind...

He then sat at a desk as his interest in the storm waned, and dipped a quill in ink before he began to write on the first page.

My name is Sheldon Darkblade, there are many ways to describe me. Insane, enlightened, a savior, a monster, a legend, a legacy, I'm all of these things. I have called Skyrim my home for more than two years, and in that time, I have done more in one day than most could in their entire lives. I have also acquired powers and items beyond that which most could even dream of. With Skyrim on the cusp of recovering from the most restless time in recent memory, it is most fitting that I compose the tale of my life.

I have been chosen by Akatosh himself long before I was born for the sole purpose of freeing Skyrim from the evil of her foes. Now my work is complete, and now the land is thriving more than ever before. With Skyrim on its feet and well on her way to the prosperity, peace, and power that her people are owed, I can turn my attention to other matters.

I am going to leave Skyrim...

Over a year prior to the time of his writing, Sheldon marched toward the northern gate of Falkreath from the forest. He wore the same armor he had worn since the earliest time he discovered his identity as the legendary Dragonborn. The armor was constructed of the very bones of the dragons he had slain, and each individual bone had rims reinforced with ebony. Scraps of dragon skin covered every inch of his body the bones did not, from his neck to his elbows, to the backs of his legs, to his waist.

The helmet he wore has horns that resembled a dragon's, and they too were forged of ebony. It also possessed a mask of dragon skin that covered the front of the helmet, and left inches of space between Sheldon's mouth, and the front of the helmet. The mask not only concealed his face, and echoed his voice, but also gave a more draconic appeal to the armor itself. The helmet even had a golden circlet on the front just above the visor, and the rim possessed three aetherium jewels.

As he approached the gate, one of the guards put his fist over his heart, and nodded.

"Hail Dragonborn." The guard said, and Sheldon put his fist over his own heart.

"Hail son of Skyrim." Sheldon said, then the civilians walking the streets spotted and recognized Sheldon. He then went to Lod's blacksmith, Gray Pine Goods, and Grave Concoctions. At each respective building, Sheldon forged weapons and armor with the leather, metal fragments, and minerals he acquired on his more recent quests, and let Lod have them without charge.

He also gave some engraved animal bones to Solaf, the man in charge of Gray Pine Goods. Each bone bared a rune devoted to the Nine Divines, especially Kyne herself, and as such provided various boons to those who possess them. From bolstered archery prowess, to resistance to disease and poison, to bolstered stamina, health, or magicka, to an increase in movement speed.

Sheldon also gave away the spare meat and furs he gathered on his hunts, and went to the lumber mill to help saw the few pieces of wood that were left. At Grave Concoctions, Zaria let Sheldon use her alchemy lab, and Sheldon repaid her by letting her have more than her fair share of potions. Sheldon kept multiple poisons meant to cause paralysis, weakness to poison, pure damage, slowness, or any combination of the four effects.

When Sheldon's business was concluded, he went for the southern gate, and two guards were speaking.

"Heard they're reforming the Dawnguard." One guard said seriously.

"And who might they be?" The other guard asked.

"Vampire hunters or something." The first guard said.

"Might consider joining up myself..." The other guard said.

"And where are these Dawnguard?" Sheldon asked, then the guards turned to see him.

"In the old fort near Riften." The first guard said.

"Old fort..." Sheldon trailed off.

Thanks to a scroll with a teleportation spell, Sheldon appeared on the outskirts of Riften via a swirling vortex of light green energy. He then used his clairvoyance spell to locate the path he needed to take, then ran through the pasture next to Riften. Numerous animals including deer, foxes, bird, rabbits, and squirrels were following the path set before each of them by nature, but Sheldon paid them no mind.

He found the road leading southeast of Riften, and followed it until he crossed a bridge over a small stream. He eventually reached the entrance of a cave he never saw before...despite the two large torches on either side of it. He then spotted and thought about the large log, grass, and trees obscuring the view from the right side of it and his minor but noteworthy shame was snuffed out like a torch submerged in water.

When he went through the cave, he came out into a mountain pass cloaked in shallow snow. The sun shining directly at him and reflecting off of the snow blinded him for a precious moment, but he quickly recovered as he marched through the pass. He gathered the dozens of snowberries growing on the bushes every now and then, but his curiosity about the Dawnguard spurred him onward.

The end of the passage gave way to the view of a partially frozen waterfall, and Sheldon immediately looked around. The sky was as open as the rest of Skyrim, the waters underneath the falls looked deep enough to fish from. He then saw another pathway through the vegetation on his left side, and his marched continued.

He then saw a torch, and approached the young man carrying it.

"Oh, hey there. You here to join the Dawnguard too?" The man asked.

"I am indeed." Sheldon said seriously, then the man walked ahead with Sheldon following.

"Truth is, I'm a little nervous; I've never done anything like this before. I hope you don't mind if I walk up with you?" The man said.

"Not at all." Sheldon said simply, then the man stopped and looked at Sheldon.

"Hey, uh, don't tell Isran I was afraid to meet him by myself. Not the best first impression for a new vampire hunter, I guess." The man said.

"What is your name?" Sheldon asked.

"Ag...Agmaer...and you're the Dragonborn aren't you?" Agmaer breathed out.

"Yes." Sheldon said, and Agmaer smiled.

"By the Nine...this is unreal...me, joining the Dawnguard, with the one and only Dragonborn at my side. Pa and Ma would be so proud...!" Agmaer said seriously.

"Calm yourself Agmaer." Sheldon said, then Agmaer sighed deeply.

"You're right...I'm just...this is just so exciting..." He said.

"You would have a different mindset if you knew what you were signing up for." Sheldon said.

"Right...I've heard the rumors about vampires, and what they do." Agmaer said.

"Believe me, they are no rumors." Sheldon said.

"O.k...the more we discuss this the less I want to join them..." Agmaer said.

"Then we should speak of brighter things." Sheldon said.

"Like what?" Agmaer asked.

"Well, why did you want to join?" Sheldon asked.

"I heard what's going on, the vampires, the Dawnguard, all of it. I wanted to help, so here I am." Agmaer said.

"A noble endeavor." Sheldon said, then the pair continued, and Sheldon's theory about the water being used was proven correct by the dock, boat, fishing supplies, and numerous hanging salmon he spotted. Sheldon also spotted a pair of mudcrabs thanks to his detect life spell, and after he used soul trap on both of them, he used his ebony mace to crush the life from them.

"What are you doing?" Agmaer asked.

"What it looks like." Sheldon said, then he removed the mudcrabs' legs, and claws with his bare hands. He then used a dragonbone dagger to crave their meat out of their shells, Sheldon and Agmaer continued their trek through the pass, and more deer, rabbits, and foxes were seen, and fled from the pair, but Sheldon cared little for them as he and Agmaer marched onward.

"With all the wildlife around here, we sure won't go hungry." Agmaer said.

"That is most likely." Sheldon said, then the pair continued their march.

"You've probably killed lots of vampires, huh?" Agmaer asked.

"That is a question you don't want me to answer." Sheldon said seriously.

"Well, I'm sure Isran will sign you right up. Not sure he'll take me...I hope so." Agmaer said.

"Have faith Agmaer." Sheldon said, then the pair continued their trek until they eventually spotted the bastion of a castle.

"That must be it." Agmaer said.

"The Dawnguard must have made their home there..." Sheldon breathed out, then his theory was proven correct as he made his way through the last piece of the pass, and spotted an entire fortress built into the base of the mountain.

"Fort Dawnguard...wow, bigger than I expected." Agnaer said.

"Yes...big...and defendable." Sheldon said as he took a moment to admire the structure, as well as the defenses there...and the logic of his theory solidified.

"What do you think?" Agmaer asked.

"Look at it...multiple bastions, all with bridges between the outer most bastions and the fort itself, battlements on the walls, and murder holes built into each wall and tower. In combination with the tight spacing of the pass make a siege attempt almost laughable." Sheldon said, then he sighed deeply.

"Wow...if the one and only Dragonborn says you're doing something right, you're doing something right." Agmaer said, then Sheldon led him toward the fort.

"Laas...Yah Niir..." Sheldon whispered, then he saw black and red before he noticed a figure on the platform next to the fort's entrance.

"Where is everybody? This place looks almost deserted." Agmaer said.

"There's a guard by the door. He likely spotted us, and will see us in." Sheldon said.

"Oh...will, let's not keep them waiting." Agmaer said before they marched toward the fort, past a handful of palisades, the base of a bastion, then spotted a camp site, and an orc wielding a crossbow.

"Well, well, you made it, good. Isran's in the fort. he'll get you sorted out." He said.

"I assume he is your leader?" Sheldon asked.

"Our one and only friend. He's the one who sent the call, and we answered it." The orc said.

"And who might you be?" Sheldon asked.

"The name's Durak, and I have heard of you. Sheldon Darkblade, the Dragonborn himself...the Dawnguard is in good hands now." Durak said.

"You do me much honor Durak. Now what can you tell me of the Dawnguard?" Sheldon asked.

"We're vampire hunters. We search out and destroy those bloodsucking scum wherever we find them." Durak said.

"Why did you join them?" Sheldon asked.

"I lost two wives to vampires; I will avenge them. It is good to know that I will not have to do it alone; I'm glad this Dawnguard exists." Durak said.

"As you should be. Vampires are hated and feared for good reason." Sheldon said.

"You need not inform me." Durak said, then he aimed his crossbow at a large tree stump, and shot a bolt at it.

"What's that you're shooting with?" Sheldon asked.

"Never seen a crossbow before, eh? Not surprised, kind of a Dawnguard specialty. Nothing better for putting down vampires. Here, take this one and give it a try. You'll want to know how to use it if you really plan to join the Dawnguard." Durak said before giving Sheldon a crossbow next to the stump behind Durak.

"Interesting..." Sheldon trailed off as he looked the crossbow over.

"Go ahead and try it." Durak said, then Sheldon pointed his crossbow at the trunk, pulled the trigger, and the bolt hit the tree next to one of the bolts Durak hit the tree with.

"It's no wonder these are popular with the Dawnguard. Using crossbows is much easier than using bows." Sheldon said.

"So you have heard of them?" Durak asked.

"I'm...familiar with them." Sheldon said.

"Then the growing vampire menace is in more trouble than I thought." Durak said.

"What growing vampire menace do you speak of? I have killed hundreds of vampires in the last six and a half months I've been in Skyrim, and I have never heard of any vampiric undertaking that requires a response this big." Sheldon asked.

"You're not paying attention then, like almost everyone else around here. Haven't you heard that the Hall of the Vigilants was destroyed by vampires? They never took the threat seriously, and now they've paid the price." Durak said, then Sheldon tightened his fists.

"I was there as it was destroyed, and the vampires responsible were punished." He said seriously.

"Well, fat lot of good that did the Vigilants. They mostly hunt down daedra worshippers, which is why they got torn to pieces when they went up against vampires. That's why our leader Isran is reestablishing the Dawnguard. Real, serious vampire hunters." Durak said, then Sheldon took a moment to think.

"Then it is for the best I came here when I did." Sheldon said.

"Report to Isran at Fort Dawnguard, and get moving if you're serious about it. The vampires aren't going to wait around to make their next move." Durak said.

"Where exactly is this Isran?" Sheldon asked.

"He's just up at the fort talking to some vigilant." Durak said, then Sheldon looked at Agmaer.

"Let's go." Sheldon said.

"May your blades stay sharp." Durak said.

"Yours as well." Sheldon said, then he and Agmaer marched past the camp, then a garden where potatoes and gourds grew. They then went past more palisades, and went around the bend, and saw the entrance. The guard Sheldon spotted earlier then walked toward the entrance as Sheldon and Agmaer approached.

"I guess this is it. Wish me luck." Agmaer said.

"Good luck." Sheldon said simply.

"Here to join the Dawngaurd? Good. Isran will decide if you got what it takes. Go on, he's right inside." The guard said.

"Good to know." Sheldon said, then the guard opened the door, and Sheldon went inside with Agmaer following.

When they went inside, they saw a massive circular room with two men within arm's reach of one another. Both had warhammers on their backs, and one of them wore the armored robes of the Vigilants of Stendarr. The other was a Redguard man, with a large beard, and wearing the same armor as the guard at the entrance.

Agmaer stayed behind Sheldon as they approached the men.

"Why are you here, Tolan? The Vigilants and I were finished with each other a long time ago." The Redguard said.

"He must be Isran..." Sheldon whispered.

"You know why I'm here, the Vigilants are under attack everywhere. The vampires are much more dangerous than we believed." Tolan said seriously.

"And now you want to come running to safety with the Dawnguard, is that it? I remember Keeper Carcette telling me repeatedly that Fort Dawnguard is a crumbling ruin, not worth the expense and manpower to repair. And now that you've stirred up the vampires against you, you come begging for my protection." Isran said.

"Isran, Carcette is dead, the Hall of the Vigilants, everyone...they're all dead. You were right, we were wrong, isn't that enough for you!?" Tolan asked.

"Yes, well,I never wanted any of this to happen. I tried to warn all of you,I am...sorry, you know." Isran said, then Sheldon marched toward them.

"Isran." Sheldon said, then Tolan turned to look at Sheldon as Isran walked toward him.

"So who are you? What do you want?" Isran asked.

"I want to work with the Dawnguard." Sheldon said, then Isran smirked.

"Got a fire in your belly to kill vampires, huh? Good for you. But look around, there's really not much to join yet. I've only just started rebuilding the order." He said.

"Word has been spreading quickly among the guards, all the way to Falkreath and maybe further. It won't be long until you have more people joining you." Sheldon said.

"Well, I'm glad word's finally starting to get around. But that means it won't be long before the vampires start to take notice as well. As you can see, we have some work to do to restore it to its former glory, but maybe you want to help me with that?"" Isran said.

"What can I do to help?" Sheldon asked.

"I need someone out in the field, taking the fight to the damn vampires, while we're getting the fort back into shape." Isran said.

"Just tell me where to go." Sheldon said.

"Tolan was telling me about some cave that the Vigilants were poking around in. Seemed to think it was related to these recent vampire attacks."

"What sort of cave?" Sheldon asked.

"Tolan, tell him about, what was it, Dimhollow?" Isran asked.

"Yes, that's it, Dimhollow Crypt. Brother Adalvald was sure it held some long lost vampire artifact of some kind. We didn't listen to him any more than we did Isran. He was at the Hall when it was attacked..." Tolan said.

"That's good enough for me. Go see what the vampires were looking for in this Dimhollow Crypt. With any luck, they'll still be there." Isran said.

"Consider it done." Sheldon said simply.

"Feel free to poke around the fort and take what you need. There isn't much yet, but you're welcome to anything you can use." Isran said, then Sheldon shook his head.

"That won't be necessary Isran." He said.

"I'll meet you at Dimhollow. It's the least I can do...to avenge my fallen comrades." Tolan said seriously.

"Tolan, I don't think that's a good idea. You Vigilants were never trained for-" Tolan cuts Isran off.

"I know what you think of us. You think we're soft, that we're cowards. You think our deaths proved our weakness. Stendarr grant that you do not have to face the same test and be found wanting." Tolan said seriously.

"It is best you and I go together, but I do have some things to do here." Sheldon said.

I'm going to Dimhollow Crypt. Perhaps I can be of some small assistance to you." Tolan said seriously before he marched toward the entrance, past Agmaer.

"Fool..." Sheldon whispered, then Isran pointed at Agmaer.

"You there, boy. Stop skulking in the shadows and step up here. What's your name?" Isran said as Agmaer approached.

"I'm, uh... my name is Agmaer, sir." Agmaer said, then Isram raised an eyebrow.

"Do I look like a sir to you? I'm not a soldier, and you're not joining the army." Isran said.

"Yes, sir...Isran." Agmaer said, then Isran looked him over.

"Didn't I tell you to step forward? Hmm...farm boy, eh? What's your weapon?" Isran asked.

"My weapon? I mostly just use my pa's axe, when wolves are attacking the goats or something." Agmaer said, then Isran started laughing to the ceiling.

"My pa's axe...Stendarr preserve us. Don't worry, I think we can make a Dawnguard out of you. Here, take this crossbow and let's see how you shoot." Isran said as he gave Agmaer a crossbow, then Agmaer looked it over, then looked at Isran and Sheldon.

"A crossbow? I've never-" Isran cuts Agmaer.

"Yes, a crossbow, best thing for killing vampires. Just take a few shots at those crates over there." Isran said, then Agmaer points his crossbow at the crates in the back.

"O.k..." Agmaer breathed out.

"Watch the recoil, takes some getting used to." Isran said, then Agmaer released a bolt.

"That's it." Sheldon and Isran said at the same time, then they looked at each other. They then looked at Agmaer who continued shooting at the crates...and each shot was as slow yet steady as the previous shot. Agmaer then looked at Sheldon, who nodded, then Agmaer continued to practice with the crossbow.

"I knew it would come to this one day. I knew...and no one believed." Isran said seriously.

"Isran? Tell me about this place." Sheldon said.

"This...is Fort Dawnguard, originally owned by the jarl of Riften back in the second era. It was a bit of a black mark on the hold's history. I'm trying to put it to good use." Isran said, then Sheldon took a moment to think as Agmaer released another bolt at the crates.

"Depending on how many people come here, I might be able to help more than I thought." He said.

"How so?" Isran asked.

"I am possible the richest man in Skyrim, make of that what you will." Sheldon said, then Agmaer released another bolt and looked at Sheldon.

"What?" He asked, then Isran looked at Agmaer.

"Focus boy." He said seriously.

"Oh, sorry Isran." Agmaer said, then he released another bolt.

"Take a deep breath and let it out as you fire." Isran said, then Agmaer inhaled deeply, and exhaled slowly before shooting his crossbow again.

"Feel the difference?" Sheldon asked.

"Yes I do. Thank you both." Agmaer said before shooting again. Isran said, then Agmaer took a moment to compose himself, then shot the crossbow again.

"Any advise for new vampires hunters?" Sheldon asked.

"There's only one thing worth remembering. When it comes to vampires, if you're sloppy or careless, you're dead, and good people will die because of you. I've lasted this long because I don't take chances; I cover my tracks, and I keep my eyes open. If you're smart, you'll do the same." Isran said.

"I do that every day Isran." Sheldon said, then Agmaer shot the crates once again.

"That's the Dragonborn way isn't it?" Agmaer asked seriously.

"You could say that." Sheldon said, then Agmaer shot the wall instead.

"Damn..." Agmaer whispered.

"You'll get the hang of it." Isran said.

"What can you tell me of the Dawnguard?" Sheldon asked.

"We hunt down, and kill vampires. Haven't you been paying attention?" Isran asked casually.

"Aside from that." Sheldon said, then he and Isran stared at each other.

"In the old days, the Dawnguard kept all of Skyrim safe from those bloodsucking scum. Then people stopped taking the threat seriously, the Dawnguard was disbanded, and the vampires came creeping back. Now I'm trying to reestablish the Dawnguard, take the fight to the vampires for a change. I hope it isn't too late." Isran said.

"It's not too late as long as Skyrim is free from them." Sheldon said, then Agmaer released a bolt, then looked at his quiver.

"I'm out of bolts..." Agmaer said, then Sheldon gave some to Agmaer.

"Take these." Sheldon said, then Agmaer looked at them.

"Thanks." He said, before he shot the crates again.

"Durak showed me how to use a crossbow before we came inside." Sheldon said.

"I see..." Isran said, then Sheldon used his telekinesis spell to pull each bolt out of the crates, and toward him as Isran and Agmaer watched with widened eyes.

"I also know all there is to know about magic, at least all that is currently known." Sheldon said.

"I like you more and more..." Isran breathed out.

"As do I...Dragonborn." Agmaer said.

"Dragonborn? Well that explains alot." Isran said.

"I'm somewhat amazed that the dragon bone armor I wear did not make it clear." Sheldon said casually.

"Like I said, it explains alot." Isran said.

"Will you train me when you return?" Agmaer asked.

"If I can." Sheldon said, then Agmaer smiled.

"This is almost too good to be true..." He said.

"You need to concentrate boy." Isran said seriously.

"Right, sorry!" Agmaer said before shooting his crossbow again...and hit the helmet on top of the crates. He then whinged as the helmet fell off the crates, and rolled away. Sheldon then pulled it toward him with telekinesis, then used a mend spell before he gave it to Agmaer.

"Here." Sheldon said.

"Why are you giving that to me?" Agmaer asked.

"Because shooting a crossbow while wearing a helmet will give you some more advanced training." Sheldon said, then Isran took a moment to think as Agmaer slowly reached for the helmet, looked it over, and put it on.

"O.k...let's do this." Agmaer said, then he aimed his crossbow, sucked in a deep breath, and shot the cross-section in one of the crates.

"That boosted his morale." Sheldon said.

"By accident too." Isran said, then Agmaer shot the cross section again.

"Any more advice for vampire hunters?" Sheldon asked.

"Be on your guard at all times, avoid sleep if you can. Sleep...is for the weak." Isran said.

"I haven't slept at all in years." Sheldon said, then Agmaer looked at him.

"What?!" He asked seriously.

"Magic provides more aid than you think." Sheldon said.

"Then...will the Dawnguard recruit mages as well?" Agmaer asked.

"We will take in any who want to see the vampires dead." Isran said.

"Smart answer." Sheldon said.

"What else can you tell us?" Agmaer asked.

"Even with all these preparations, we can't be too careful. The monsters could strike us at any moment." Isran said.

"If they did find us now, I will personally make them regret that decision." Sheldon said seriously.

"I hope you're right, because the vampires will show us no mercy, they're proven that." Isran said.

"As have I; hundreds of vampires throughout Skyrim are dead because of me." Sheldon said.

"Hundreds...?" Agmaer asked.

"Yes, hundreds." Sheldon said

"Let this be a lession boy, if we're going to survive this, we're going to have to be as ruthless as our enemies." Isran said.

"And more powerful." Sheldon said.

"Well, this is giving me hope." Agmaer said.

"As it should." Sheldon said.

"Hope cannot kill vampires." Isran said.

"Not directly, but it can lead to many things that can kill vampires." Sheldon said.

"Like what?" Isran asked.

"Like morale." Sheldon said.

"Morale..." Isran trailed off.

"Yes, morale. All the power in the world is useless without a driving force, namely..." Sheldon said.

"Morale." Agmaer said.

"Alright, point taken..." Isran said.

"Should I get back to using my crossbow?" Agmaer asked.

"I think that's enough for now." Isran said.

"Alright." Agmaer said, before putting his crossbow away.

"You'll get the hang of it." Isran said, and Agmaer smiled.

"Any more advice?" Sheldon asked.

"Only a handful of points. Be on your guard, keep your eyes open, and watch your back." Isran said.

"And when you Agmaer are ready, none of those things will be an issue." Sheldon said.

"I cannot wait." Agmaer said.

"Also, would you be so kind as to tell Isran why you want to join the Dawnguard in the first place?" Sheldon asked.

"I've heard the rumors around Skyrim. I know something's going on, and I've seen the vampires. I felt I had two choices, I could either live in fear of the night, or I could do something to help protect me people." Agmaer said seriously.

"That attitude is going to carry you far...Agmaer." Isran said.

"Thank you." Agmaer said, then Sheldon took a moment to think before sighing.

"Problem?" Isran asked.

"I cannot help but wonder why the Hall was destroyed..." Sheldon trailed off.

"Who knows? The vampires will look for any reason to cause havoc." Isran said.

"And what would that reason be? Like I said, I've killed hundreds of vampires all over Skyrim. Vampires are subtle by nature, but if they're responding to my actions...then it is for the better I came when I did." Sheldon said.

"I doubt that, the Vigilants have been hot on the vampires' trails for gods know how long. Maybe they finally went too far." Isran said.

"Maybe...but I should go find Tolan." Sheldon said before marching toward the gate.

"Wait, whatever you find in Dimhollow, it's likely going to be extremely important, so you had better not fail." Isran said, then Sheldon stared at him.

"Isran...I don't fail." Sheldon said seriously before walking out the door.

Yeah...as a wise man said, he's not joking. I'm sure you've seen the weapons and spells Sheldon's used thusfar? Well, that's just scratching the surface. I've got so much crazy shit going on, that it's a good thing I have notes.

Also, that teleportation spell? That's my headcanon explanation for fast traveling, even though horses are a thing...teleportation speaks for itself. It's also complete b.s. that others can teleport in Skyrim and you can't.

Of course, the power increase I gave to the good Dovahkiin here has to be balanced against who and what he goes up against, but I swear things will not be too easy for him...or company.

Also, I intend to give bits of trivia at the end of each chapter like I did now, and maybe answer questions from my adoring fans. (No that's not an intentional Oblivion reference)

For the record, I do encourage people to give their thoughts, and just make general statements if they please. On top of that, some people may not be able to handle criticism, but I can, as long as it's fair and honest. If you just mindlessly slam me, I will not take you seriously, and why should I?

And of course, since this is the Dawnguard DLC, everyone's favorite vampire waifu Serana is on the guest list, and so is everyone else...

If you notice anything I did wrong, or if you have any ideas on how to make this story better, by all means let me know in the reviews. I've read ideas since Day 1, and that's not about to change...unless you're not being civil, in that case, forget it.

Anyway, let me know what you think by rating the story, tell me your thoughts in the reviews, and maybe share it with people if possible. The rest of the Darkblade chronicles have yet to be written, and I cannot wait to do the rest, so stay tuned.
