After a nostalgic vacation to Apocalypseburg goes awry, Emmet and Lucy discover that Rex didn't fade from existence quite as permanently as they thought. Now, Lucy has to choose between Emmet and Rex, knowing that whoever she doesn't choose is banned to The Can of Gar-Bage (not to be confused with The Bin of Stor-Age) for eternity. EMMETSTYLE VERSUS DANGERSTYLE

After arriving on the scene of Emmet's car crash, Lucy passes out from shock. While Emmet wakes up with physical injuries, Lucy wakes up without her memory of her boyfriend. Can Emmet rebuild his relationship with Lucy, or are they doomed to go their separate ways as if they had never met? Emmetstyle and some Benny x Sweet Mayhem.

Emmet continues having strange dreams, mostly with himself as Rex under the Dryar. Could Reality be having a hold on him despite everything – or are there more time-travel shenanigans in store?

Rex expected to disappear after Emmet refused to become him. And then he didn't. None of them knew how it happened, but Emmet kept him from disappearing. Now, Rex is stuck in Syspocalypstar, and starting to realize just how much of a lie "no regrets" was, and just how much he may need to change how he handled Undar. ...As much as he absolutely hates to admit to it.
