Chapter 21: A Double Wedding Part 2
The Wedding Day
"There...Finally finished...How are you going Star?" Raven smiled, putting on her dark blue wedding vial. Raven was wearing a navy blue wedding dress with a frilly skirt and dark blue high heals, and a vial on her head, she also wore a pair of dark blue gloves to go with her dress. The two Titans were in Raven's room.
"Nearly finished...This vial is rather difficult to get on." Starfire replied, trying to work out how to put on her vial. Raven smiled and helped her.
"I can't wait to see Gar and Rich... I'm looking forward to the wedding." Raven said, after a bit.
Starfire was wearing a purple wedding dress, with a frilly skirt and violet high heals, and a vial. She also had a pair of white gloves to go with the dress.
"Now for the roses..." Starfire began, as she picked out a red rose from the vase in the dressing room. She then pinned it on her dress, then gave Raven one who did the same.
"And now to see if the twins and Kori are ready." Raven smiled, looking forward to the wedding.
Meanwhile at the Beach...
"Aw man, how much longer do we have to wait? I can't wait to see Rae-Rae and the twins!" Beast Boy began, as he and Robin walked along the beach as they headed towards the pulpits that were there. Two Celebrants stood at the pulpits, talking quietly and nodding. A radio sat on one of the pulpits which was in the middle of the beach sand, away from the water, ready to play for when the brides to be came.
"Hopefully not much longer, I know how you feel, I long to see Star again and Kori! Well here we are..." Robin smiled, as they walked up to the pulpits. The two Titans stood in front of the pulpits. There was no red carpet, instead of the carpet, there were seashells neatly lined up to form an aisle to walk down, that idea was Beast Boy's.
Soon a white Limousine pulled up, Robin and Beast Boy looked at each other excitedly and watched the Limousine. Raven was the first to get out of the limousine, much to Beast Boy's delight. The twins were next, Mika wore a white dress with flowers printed on the frilly skirt part of her dress, Sami wore a tuxedo, as he and his twin sister followed their mother. Mika carried a basket full of colourful flower petals. Sami held a velvet blue cushion in his hands, which had four rings on it.
Speedy and Cyborg got out of the Limousine after the girls, both Titans were wearing Tuxedos. Ember got out of the Limousine afterwards, she was wearing a red dress with white 'flame' stripes down the sides.
Kori and Starfire got out of the Limousine afterwards, Starfire held two Bouquet of flowers and gave one to Raven. Kori held a basket of colourful flower petals, like Mika's. She joined Mika's side and started going down the aisle, throwing the flower petals and giggling cutely.
One of the Celebrants turned on the radio and played a certain song that the Titans wanted to chose for their wedding.
Raven and Starfire followed after Kori, Sami and Mika.
Cyborg linked his arm through Starfire's. Speedy linked his arm through Raven's as they walked down the aisle.
'You look so beautiful Rae-Rae!' Beast Boy thought to her, as he watched his bride to be walk down the aisle to him.
'Thank you...You're too cute B. Can't wait to marry you.' Raven thought back with a smile.
Soon Starfire joined Robin's side and held his hands, Raven joined Beast Boy's side and held his hands, both couples smiled at each other.
The twins stood near Raven and Beast Boy while Kori stood near Robin and Starfire.
Robin's Celebrant nodded to Beast Boy's one who nodded back.
The Celebrants cleared their throats and looked at everyone.
The Celebrants began to 'ramble' on in Beast Boy's view. Raven could tell that he was getting bored already of what the celebrant was saying and didn't pay much attention until he got to the main part.
"Do you Garfield 'Beast Boy' Logan, take Raven Roth to be your wife?" One of the Celebrant's asked, looking at the green Titan.
"Yes, I do." Beast Boy smiled, looking lovingly at Raven.
"Do you Raven 'Rae' Roth, take Beast Boy to be your husband?" The Celebrant asked, turning his attention to Raven.
"Yes, I do." Raven replied, smiling back at Beast Boy.
"Rings please!" The Celebrant looked at Sami who quickly got up and passed the rings to Raven and Beast Boy.
Raven and Beast Boy took the rings and put them on, smiling even more.
Now it was Robin's turn to listen to the Celebrant ramble on until he got to the important part.
"Do you Richard Grayson, take Starfire to be your wife?" The Celebrant asked, looking at Robin.
"Yes I do." Robin chirped, smiling at Starfire.
"Do you Starfire, take Richard Grayson to be your husband?" The Celebrant looked at Starfire.
"Yes I do..." Starfire replied.
"Rings please!" The Celebrant once looked at Sami again who quickly passed the rings to Starfire and Robin.
Robin and Starfire smiled at each other and put the rings on.
"Does anyone have any reason why these couples should not wed? If so speak out now...Nobody? Good! I now pronounce Robin and Starfire, Beast Boy and Raven as husbands and wives. You may now kiss your brides..." The Celebrant announced.
'Finally!' Beast Boy thought excitedly, as he gently pushed back Raven's vial, he then put his arms around her waist and pressed his lips against hers. Raven deepened the kiss, putting her arms around Beast Boy.
Robin smiled and did the same, he gently pushed back Starfire's vial and pressed his lips against hers, putting his arms around her waist, Starfire deepened the kiss and put her arms around Robin's shoulders.
Everyone cheered, whistled and clapped their hands as the newly weds kissed.
The twins watched as their parents kissed, then glanced at the ocean for a while. They gave a sudden scream when a red giant appeared in the water, they instantly knew what it was and didn't like it.
"Mummy! Daddy! Santa's back!" Sami cried out in fear, pointing at Trigon who was coming towards the shore, soaking wet..
"Santa?" Raven asked, raising her eyebrow after breaking the kiss. "Wait..Trigon!" She gasped softly looking over at the water, watching as her father came towards the shore.
All of the guests fled the scene when Trigon came, including Cyborg and Ember..
"That's not Santa silly, it's Grandpa..." Mika corrected, trying to sound brave, she and Sami quickly hid behind Raven.
At last Trigon reached the beach, and only the Titans were left at the wedding scene.
"What do you want?" Raven hissed, glaring at her father, who was now on the beach, nearing the twins.
"Yeah! We just got married and why do you have to come at the wrong time?" Beast Boy complained to him, only wishing he didn't say anything.
Trigon said nothing but went closer to Raven, he made a grab for Sami.
Raven quickly used her powers and threw the pulpit at Trigon. "Leave my children alone." She hissed.
A sinister laughter came from Trigon. He still said nothing, but Raven knew what he wanted.
Beast Boy thought with a frown, wondering what to do, he saw Starfire holding the second pulpit, ready to throw it at Trigon, Robin held Kori in his arms.
Beast Boy quickly grabbed Sami and held him in his arms, grabbing Mika next to protect them.
Trigon then neared Beast Boy, meaning to snatch the twins off him.
"Stay away from my husband and children and friends!" Raven warned Trigon, with her eyes glowing red for a moment. "I won't let you go near them. I'll even fight you to ensure you won't hurt them!"
Trigon smirked. "If it's a fight you want, it's a fight you will get! As long as I get to have the twins, and use their power for evil I'll be happy, even if that means destroying my own daughter!"
Beast Boy stared at Trigon in fright after he said that.
Starfire threw the pulpit at Trigon as he began to move closer to Beast Boy, to get the twins off him. Trigon saw that Starfire was near him and grabbed her leg, in shock the Tamaranian screamed, Trigon ignored the scream and swung her into the ocean, making a huge splash.
"STARFIRE!" Robin exclaimed in fear, then he glared at Trigon. "You're going to pay for that!" He hissed, grabbing a disk from his utility belt which he had wore underneath his tuxedo.
"MUMMY!" Kori cried out, rushing over to the shore, meaning to rescue Starfire. Robin grabbed Kori's hand just in time. Starfire flew out of the water and shot Star-bolts at Trigon.
Raven looked around to see what she could throw at her father, she then saw some chairs and used her powers to throw the chairs at Trigon. Soon there was a huge fight. Both Starfire and Raven used their powers to attack Trigon, as he kept making attempts to go near Beast Boy and the twins. Sami and Mika were frightened as they clung onto Beast Boy, not daring to watch.
The fight felt like it went on for hours, Robin and Beast Boy felt helpless watching their wives fighting Trigon as they protected the last, Beast Boy had enough of watching, he gave Sami and Mika to Robin and joined in the fight.
"This is enouh, not to mention very boring." Trigon announced, he looked at the sea then back at Raven. "If I can't have my grandchildren, then no one can." With that sentence being said, Trigon used his powers and made a title wave come rushing towards the Titans and their children. Raven gasped as the Titans gathered together. She quickly used her powers to make a shield around her, Beast Boy, Robin, Starfire, Mika, Sami and Kori.
The Titans cuddled together under the shield, as a great big wall of water came gushing down at them, full speed. Soon the wave cleared up, and the water at the beach became calm once more. Raven looked around for her father and saw that he was still standing, even though he had used a lot of his power, she knew he was weakened. She looked at the others and smiled seeing that they were okay.
Raven got up and went near her father who just collapsed onto the ground. "And now to ensure that you won't be back to bother us again, I am going to banish you to another dimension. Say hi to Terra for me. Azerath, Metrion, Zinthous!"
Trigon smirked. "Heh, that's what you think..." He opened up a portal at the same time as Raven, Raven quickly flew out of the way from his portal. Trigon grit his teeth then an idea came to him, he made another title wave come to Raven only, within seconds she was knocked down to the ground, soaking wet. Raven got up, even though she was getting weak, she wanted to make sure Trigon wouldn't come back.
"Azerath, Metrion, Zinthous!" Raven made a large portal appear behind her father, which began to suck him in like a vacuum cleaner. At last Trigon vanished.
Raven then collapsed to the ground.. Beast Boy ran to his new wife's side.
"Raven! Are you going to be okay?" Beast Boy asked. He looked worriedly at her as she became weaker and paler.
"Beast Boy...You are my everything. I don't think I can make it...If I give you the rest of my powers, can you please use them to revive me before it's too late? I really love you B, and the twins..." Raven told him, the closed her eyes, she gave him her powers and lay still with her eyes still closed, she stopped breathing.
"RAVEN!" Beast Boy exclaimed in fright, he received her powers and thought for a moment and worked out how to revive her. "The power of love...I'm going to try it!" He then pressed his lips against hers, pulling her into a kiss as he held her close to him. 'Rae...Don't leave me. I love you too much Rae-Rae!'
The twins were in Starfire's arms, crying.
"Mummy wake up!" Mika cried out, hugging Starfire.
"Yeah Mummy! It's not nap time yet!" Sami called out to Raven.
Robin looked worried, Starfire began to cry, as she held the twins close to her.
'I really love you Raven...More then anyone in the world...' Beast Boy thought to her. Moments later, he felt her deepen the kiss, as she wrapped her arms around his shoulders.
'Raven?' Beast Boy thought, as he kissed her.
'I'm alive...Thank you B. I thought I wasn't going to make it due to all the fighting against my father. When he was getting sucked into the portal, he drained all of my energy...But I'm going to be okay now, thanks to you B.' Raven thought to him.
Starfire dried her tears and sighed in relief, knowing that her best friend will be okay. "Don't scare us like that Raven!" Robin cried out after Beast Boy and Raven broke the kiss.
"Mummy!" The twins chirped, running up to her, to hug Raven.
"Hello sweeties. Mummy's going to be okay, she just needs a rest now." Raven told them, she looked at Robin and gave him a weak smile.
"Let's go home and rest up before the Honey Moon." Beast Boy said, picking up Raven in his arms.
"Home sounds good.." Raven agreed, resting her head on his shoulders, lovingly.
The Titans made their way home, back to Titans Tower, once they got inside the Tower, they were given a rather big surprise.
