Chapter 23: A Battle and Hawaii at last!
"Mummy, is she the naughty girl that you have been telling us about in the bedtime stories that you tell us?" Mika asked, glancing at Terra then back at Raven.
"And is daddy the prince that you 'rescued from the castle?'" Sami finished his twin sister's question. The twins remembered the bed time story that Raven and Beast Boy would tell the twins.
Raven nodded. "Yes, she's the naughty girl who needs to be stopped. We've stopped her before, we can stop her again."
Terra rolled her eyes. "Seriously? How lame, your twins are as annoying as you are!...As soon as I finish you, I'll go for the twins too then claim Beast Boy as mine!"
"That's not going to happen..." Beast Boy snapped at her. "I'll never go with you Terra, I love Raven and the twins."
"You're brain washed, Beast Boy! Raven doesn't really love you!" Terra told him, putting her hands on her hips. "But if you don't believe me, I'm going to fight her for you!"
"A fight? This should be easy, twins stay where you are." Raven smirked, getting out of her seat she went to the aisle of the plane where there was plenty of room for them to move.
"But it's not just me. I'm sure you remember your beloved Malchior, and not to mention Kitten and oh and Blackfire!" Terra smirked, as she said those names, the three villains appeared on the plane, from the pilot's cabin.
Raven stared at Malchior in disbelief. "You've got to be kidding me." She mumbled, putting her hood on.
"Oh! And another thing, I've blocked your powers so you can't fight. That goes to you to Beast Boy and Starfire!" Terra said.
"Liar!" Raven hissed. "Azerath..Metrion...Zinthous!" She went to send a plane's chair flying towards Terra, but her powers didn't work. "Gnh. She's actually blocked my powers..But how?"
"I made friends with your father!" Terra smiled proudly of herself. "He's such a great guy Raven, it's a pity you didn't take time to know him!"
"I could care less about him, and you!" Raven nodded to Beast Boy who went to entertain the twins, he didn't want the twins seeing Raven fighting against Terra.
Raven launched herself at Terra, pushing the blonde to the ground and started throwing punches at Terra's face, Terra would move her head to make Raven hit the floor with her fist.
"Keep still!" Raven glared at Terra. "The sooner you keep still the sooner I will win against you again. Face it Terra, you'll never win, Beast Boy is my husband, the twins and him are my everything, I'll never let you get them."
Terra kept moving her head, as Raven threw punches at her, dodging each one. "Is that all you've got Rae-Rae? I thought you'd have more!"
"Don't call me that! Only Beast Boy can." Raven hissed, kneeing Terra hard in the stomach, catching the blonde off guard.
"Oof! Oh by the way we're not on the way to 'Hawaii' Were are in the middle of a desert!" Terra smirked.
Raven quickly got up from the ground to have a look around, sure enough the Titans were now in the middle of a desert. Raven grit her teeth, as she looked out the plane's window, Terra went to throw a punch at Raven. Raven blocked the punch and quickly fought back again, pushing her to the other side of the plane.
"Hiya Robbie pooh! Did you miss me?" A familiar voice purred, as another blonde haired girl appeared, walking towards Robin, ignoring Starfire's reaction.
Starfire clenched her fists and glared at the girl. "He did NOT miss you, KITTEN!"
"I wasn't asking you, I was asking my beloved Robbie Pooh! So Robbie did you miss me?" Kitten purred as she walked up to Robin, still ignoring Starfire. Kitten smiled to Robin and placed one arm around his waist and ran her fingers along his chest.
"GRRR!" Starfire grit her teeth, watching Kitten flirting with Robin. 'Why is he not doing anything?' she wondered in thoughts.
Kori looked up at Kitten then back at Robin. "Daddy who is this girl? Do you love her?" She asked innocently.
"Name's Kitten kid, and of course daddy loves me!" Kitten smiled, and was about to plant a kiss on Robin's lips, before Robin pushed her away, sending her flying towards the walls of the plane.
"Haven't you learned before Kitten? You can never force anyone to love you. I don't love you, I love Starfire and Kori only. Plus my friends. Why are you even here?" Robin frowned at the girl, watching as she got up angrily.
Starfire sighed in relief as Robin said that.
"Hello, little sister! I thought you would've married someone more decent then him, he did cheat on you after all! Look he's doing it again." A familiar voice to Starfire called out softly.
"I will never leave my husband Robin, sister! He is not a cheater, he is a loving and glorious man and father. Your just jealous aren't you Blackfire?" Starfire glared at her.
"Aw, your mad because I said that? You and Robin have the 'puppy love' they say True love never lasts so I won't be surprised when Robin divorces you for Kitten!" Blackfire taunted her, smirking.
"Need a hand my sweet Raven?" Malchior's voice echoed through Raven's ears, as he appeared beside her, willing to help her fight Terra.
"No thanks Malchior! I can handle Terra on my own." Raven replied, still fighting with the blonde.
"No I mean, do you need a hand to fill out the divorce papers for when I'm finished with Beast Boy?" Malchior began, as he made his way over to Beast Boy and the twins.
'Beast Boy! Watch out!' Raven thought to him, hoping that Terra's powers didn't block their thoughts.
Beast Boy heard Raven's thoughts and glanced over at her, only noticing Malchior walking up to him.
The twins held onto each other in fright as they looked at Malchior, they cried, they couldn't bare the site of him.
"No need to worry about the kids, green one. They'll be gone when I'm done with you!" Malchior smirked, when he appeared in front of Beast Boy.
"Name's Beast Boy, not green one! And I won't let you hurt our twins!" Beast Boy hissed, feeling the Beast within side of him wanting to come out.
"Heh, we'll see about that, Green one!" Malchior then went to attack Beast Boy, but stopped when he saw Beast Boy transform. Beast Boy's clothes began to rip as he began to turn into the Beast, everyone stopped fighting and turned their attention to the green Teen.
"But that's impossible, I have blocked all of the powers." Terra gasped, covering her mouth in shock.
"You've forgot one thing, my husband has a trick up his sleeve." Raven smirked. "The Beast comes when he knows I'm in great danger."
"Is it too late to forfeit?" Terra asked, sounding scared as she watched Beast Boy's transformation.
Beast Boy was now fully transformed into the Beast, the twins have seen his transformation before and seemed okay with it.
"How do you stop him being the beast?" Terra asked.
"Wouldn't you like to know?" Raven smirked, watching as Beast Boy went on a rampage and smashed a window open, he then threw Malchior out of the window and watched him landing flat onto the sandy desert ground.
With a huff, Beast Boy then went to Terra.
"Uh um, are you sure you want to hurt me? Your beautiful ex-girlfriend?" Terra asked innocently.
Beast Boy pretended to think for a moment then grabbed Terra's wrist, he then tossed her out of the plane's window as if she was a rag doll, Terra joined Malchior on the ground, both now knocked out. The twins watched, huddled up together as their father tossed the villains out of the plane's window.
Blackfire scoffed. "Seriously? He thinks he can throw me out of the window?" She folded her arms in disbelief, Beast Boy smirked then grabbed Blackfire's wrist, as the Beast he threw her out of the window. The former Tamaranean fell down to the ground, joining Malchior and Terra as they lay unconscious.
Kitten gulped as she looked at Beast Boy. "What power...He better not go for me... Eeek he is going for me! Robbie Pooh, do something!" Kitten screamed when Beast Boy grabbed her wrist, he then threw her out of the window, and watched as she landed on Malchior, Terra and Blackfire. The four villains were now knocked out cold. Beast Boy as the Beast pondered about on the plane, hunting for more villains, when there was none to be spotted, Raven walked up to him.
"You were amazing." Raven commented, before planting her lips on his. She didn't care that he was in the Beast form as she kissed him. She smiled when he returned to his human form.
"Not as amazing as you are Rae-Rae. Are you ready to do the final part?" Beast Boy smiled, putting his arm around his new wife's waist.
Raven nodded. "First of all, I'm moving the plane so the others don't get put into another dimension by accident." She used her powers to move the plane, away from the four knocked out villains.
"Alright, here we go." Raven smiled, as she felt Beast Boy's arms around her waist. "I love you B...Azerath, Metrion, Zinthous!" A portal appeared in front of the couple, Raven used her powers to hold the portal open and she used her telekinesis powers to move the four villains into the portal.
Raven watched the villains being sucked into the portal, she smirked as she watched Terra go in. A random horrible thought came to her, she turned her attention to Beast Boy. "Do you ever um miss Terra?" She wondered as she looked at him sadly.
"What? No way! Why would I miss her? What makes you ask that Rae? You know your the only woman I'll ever love." Beast Boy quickly responded, without the need to think for an answer. "I hate Terra! I don't even know what I was thinking back when I was a teen, when we first met her! BLUGH!"
Raven gave him a weak smile. "I was just wondering. Come on let's go."
The couple made their way back to the plane and sat down with the twins.
"Um Raven, I've got bad news. Someone destroyed the controls of this plane, meaning we're pretty much stranded here." Robin announced as he walked from the Captain Cabin to her.
"Not on my watch...I'll transfer all of us to Hawaii." Raven replied. "I just need a bit of concentration. Now sit down everyone and buckle up."
Robin and Starfire obeyed her, and sat with Kori. Silence filled the air once everyone was ready. Beast Boy put his arm around Raven's waist, wondering why she asked him about Terra.
"Azerath, Metrion, Zinthous." Raven used her telekinesis powers to fly the plane to Hawaii. It was a long flight but she had enough energy and power to do it.
Raven flew the plane to Hawaii and landed it safely in the airport. She then got up from her seat then collapsed onto the ground.
"Raven!" Beast Boy exclaimed in fear, as he raced by her side. He picked her up in his arms. "Rae! It's going to be okay. We made it to Hawaii."
Hawaii at last!
Beast Boy put Raven down on the bed in their hotel room, he made her look comfortable and stayed by her side, not leaving her for a second. The twins were with Robin, Starfire and Kori much to his relief. Beast Boy gently put his hand on her forehead, her temperature was normal, which is good news for him. He smiled and gently planted a kiss on her lips and ran his hand gently on her face. "I really love you Rae-Rae. I'm so lucky to have married you."
Raven didn't stir, Beast Boy knew this would take a while. 'I blame Terra for this...I hate Terra so much!' Beast Boy frowned, as he bit his bottom lip, while looking at Raven. 'If Terra appears again, let's say things won't be nice..'
Beast Boy ran his fingers gently through Raven's hair, he knew she wouldn't mind that even if she was awake. "Your so beautiful, Raven..."
An hour later, Raven began to wake up. Beast Boy had talked to her during the whole time that she was 'sleeping'. "Raven!" He chirped, with a smile on his face.
"Beast Boy? Ugh! Where are we, and why do I have a headache?" Raven got up then held her hand to her forehead.
"We're in Hawaii now." Beast Boy then told her what had happened.
"That explains my headache..." Raven mumbled.
Beast Boy smiled and planted a kiss on her forehead. "Better?"
"If only kisses cured headaches that easily B...Your so cute. I'll be fine soon, I just need to rest. Where are the twins?" Raven smiled sweetly to him, as she lay down again on the bed.
"They're with Kori, Robin and Starfire." Beast Boy replied. "It's just us for the moment." He winked to her.
"Husband Richard, shall we have a walk along the shores of the Beach?" Starfire asked, using Robin's real name. Robin had his mask off and was dressed in ordinary clothes.
"Sounds good to me Star, we'll take the kids with us too. I know the twins and Kori will love it." Robin smiled as he unpacked his luggage and watched the twins and Kori chase each other around in Starfire, Robin and Kori's room.
"Should we build the Castles made out of Sand with the children?" Starfire suggested, as she grabbed a plastic bucket and a plastic shovel to build the sandcastle.
"Yes! I love building sandcastles! It will be fun showing Kori, Mika and Sami how to make them!" Robin grinned, slipping his arms around Starfire while watching the three young Titans running ahead of them, watching where they were going.
Soon the five were at the beach, Robin and Starfire took the twins and Kori near the shoreline where the sand was wet.
"What are we doing Uncle?" Mika asked, watching as Robin began to fill the plastic bucket up with sand, he would then move over a bit and tip the bucket neatly upside down onto the sand, pressing the bucket firmly onto the sandy ground he tapped the bottom of it and then lifted the bucket up, leaving a neat pile of sand. He repeated that step for a while and soon the Sandcastle began to take shape.
"Now kids, you three get the fun task, Auntie Starfire will be helping you with it too. See if you can find shells, seaweed, feathers or sticks laying along the beach. Decorating the Sandcastle IS the best part!" Robin smiled, looking at the three youngest Titans.
"YAY! Come on Auntie Starfire!" Sami grabbed Starfire's hand. Starfire smiled and took the three children to search for the sand.
It wasn't long before Raven and Beast Boy joined them at the beach, with Raven feeling a lot better now. Raven saw Starfire with the twins and Kori searching for something, then she looked around and saw Robin with the Sandcastle, she figured what was going on.
Sami tilted his head cutely as he watched his 'uncle' building the castle.
"Hey guys! Are you starting the fun without us?" Beast Boy chirped, running over to Robin. Raven ran with him, not wanting to be left out on all of the fun.
Robin smiled and turned around. "I haven't fully finished the castle, thought I'd leave the best part for you two. How are you feeling Rae?"
"I'm much better, thank you." Raven smiled to him, sitting down. Beast Boy sat with her, slipping his arms around her waist.
Kori, Mika and Sami have been busy hunting for pretty shells, and some seaweed. Starfire joined them in the search, she would point out to the shells that may look nice with the Sandcastle, she then would let the twins or Kori put the shells, seaweed, feathers or sticks into the bucket that she was holding.
"This is fun!" Kori chirped, putting a handful of beautiful seashells into the bucket.
"I am glad you are having fun Kori! The twins seem to be having fun too!" Starfire smiled, watching as Mika and Sami ran about, looking for pretty shells.
Starfire caught a glimpse of Raven and Beast Boy coming to the beach from the corner of her eye. She did not take her eyes off the twins and Kori to greet them, she knew what the three young Titans were like once you took your eyes off them for a second.
"Is that enough now Auntie Starfire?" Mika asked, as she and Sami put some feathers and shells into the bucket, which was now half full.
"Yes, that is enough now. Let us go back to the Castle of Sand." Starfire smiled, holding the bucket still. Mika and Sami took hold of each others hands, as twins do. Kori held onto Starfire's hand and Sami's.
"Mummy! Daddy!" Raven heard the twins calling her and Beast Boy, she smiled and looked around, then saw the twins with Starfire and Kori, heading towards where the Sand Castle was made, which was near Robin.
Beast Boy smiled and watched the twins running up to them, forgetting about Starfire and Mika for a moment the twins flung their arms around Raven and Beast Boy, as if they haven't seen them for a long time.
"Have you two been having fun?" Raven asked, looking at Mika and Sami.
"Mhm!" Sami nodded, then pointed to the buckets and the Sand Castles.
"I hear you've been watching Uncle Richard make a sandcastle to decorate. You three get the best part, decorating it." Beast Boy grinned, looking at the twins.
"Now you can start the decorating." Robin smiled, once Starfire and Kori joined them again.
Raven rest her head on Beast Boy's shoulder as she watched the twins and Kori take the bucket. Starfire showed them how to decorate the sandcastle.
"They seem to be having fun!" Beast Boy commented, watching Kori, Mika and Sami putting seashells and feathers on the Sand Castle with Starfire's help.
"I don't know who's having more fun, Star or the children." Raven said, snuggling up close to Beast Boy.
"I'd say they're all equally having fun." Robin joined in the conversation then got up to join Starfire with the young Titans.
Raven and Beast Boy looked at each other, thinking the same thing the two got up and helped the twins decorate the Sand Castle.
It was an hour until the Sand Castle was complete, to Robin it looked 'picture perfect'.
"Good thing I took the camera with us!" Beast Boy grinned. "Now twins, Kori, stand near the Castle or behind it so I can take a picture of you three with it."
The twins and Kori raced behind the Sand Castle and smiled, waving to Beast Boy as he held the camera in his hands. He raised the camera to his eye and looked through it, zooming in a bit to take a photo of Kori, Sami and Mika standing behind the sandcastle. "Say Cheese!"
"Cheese..." The three youngest Titans hugged each other as Beast Boy took the photo, smiling at him.
"Alright, all done!" Beast Boy announced, he watched as Sami, Mika and Kori ran up to him to see the photo.
Raven peered over Beast Boy's shoulder to see it. "Very cute!" She commented, smiling to the twins.
Beast Boy looked at the sky, noticing the sun was slowly sinking. "Ooh a romantic sunset at the beach!" He smiled, putting the camera away in his pocket.
"We'll watch the sunset, then head back to the hotel for something to eat and do what ever from there." Robin announced after a while.
The Titans sat together, with the kids near the Sand Castle as they watched the Sun slowly set.
"Mummy, where does the sun go when it sets? Does it go to bed?" Kori asked, tilting her head as she looked at Starfire.
Starfire bit her bottom lip, unsure how to answer that question for Kori.
Robin chuckled. "No, the sun doesn't go to bed Kori, it goes onto the other side of the world, to wake everyone else up." He tried to explain it as easy as possible.
Once the sun has set, the street lights turned on, allowing enough lights to show the way back to the hotel.
"I wish I could use my powers to fly. But we all agreed not to use them on our Honey Moon." Raven muttered, yawning tiredly.
Beast Boy grinned. "I can always carry you back bridal style if you like!" He winked to her, and was about to do that.
Raven smiled back. "What if I fall asleep in your arms?" She asked, winking to him as she let him pick her up bridal style.
The twins and Kori watched Raven and Beast Boy.
"I'd just look at you dreamily and keep saying how lucky I am to have you." Beast Boy smiled. Raven was now in his arms, bridal style. Raven flung her arms gently around his neck.
"And I'm lucky to have you, and the twins." Raven smiled back, before pressing her lips against Beast Boy's. Beast Boy deepened the kiss, still holding Raven in his arms.
"We'll meet you back at the Hotel!" Robin called out to them, holding his hands out to the twins who ran up to him. The twins yawned tiredly as soon as they got up to Robin. Robin smiled and picked them up in his arms.
Starfire picked Kori up. "Come on you three, we'll leave Raven and Beast Boy for a while."
"Mummy, where are we going next?" Kori asked.
"We are going to Paris next week..." Starfire replied, as she carried Kori back to the hotel with Robin, leaving Raven and Beast Boy behind, as they shared a long and passionate kiss.
What will Paris be like?
Will there be more trouble for the Titans or will they finally get to relax for a while?
